Great sandwiches!!! Love this place. I'm never disappointed!

They serve a wonderful variety of hot and cold sandwiches with classic, home made deli side dishes. The Reuben is the best I've ever had. The service is quick and friendly. For a fresh lunch at a good value in Mason City, this is your place. If I lived in the area, I'd be dining here every week.

I would give State Street deli five stars across the board! My husband has went there many times and loves their sandwiches, this is my first time. I will definitely be going back to try many of their different sandwiches. They have a delicious salads as well you get one free with your sandwich. The potato salad in coleslaw are on point! I tried a Grand Avenue... Delicious.

The food is delicious, always fresh and always served with a smile. The staff are very friendly, and the restaurant is always clean. If you haven’t tried this restaurant out, I would certainly recommend it. They have a very good variety of deli sandwiches and sides. You won’t be disappointed!

The best deli in the area with innovative sandwich offerings along with the standards. Good coffee and some beer on tap, a kid's menu, and an enjoyable setting in the Brick and Tile building make this a good experience.

Me and my partner have visited State street Deli several times for a quick hot lunch as we live nearby. Each time our food has been excellent and reasonably-priced. I also enjoy the atmosphere as it seems to be a nice little family-owned business

State street deli is definitely a recommended spot. The staff was friendly, helpful, and they got the food out quickly. Knowing that we wanted to share our food they brought it on different plates with 2 pickle spears. Food was made with high quality ingredients and taste was really nice. The cupcake was fun. Decor was a fun and friendly atmosphere. I will definitely be returning! Thank you

A really good deli in Mason City, IA! The sandwiches are great...the sides are not as good, but still good...and really small. Today I tried the Cuban, which was good, but not an authentic Cuban like you would expect if you have eaten Cubans in Florida/Miami, etc. Still, a really good take on the sandwich and I would definitely order it again! The staff is very friendly and the service is super fast! For a great deli sandwich, this is the place to check out in Mason City!

Really happy to find this place on "the Google" when we looked for a spot to grab some lunch. Excellent food with great prices. If I lived around here, I would visit this place regularly.

Their Reuben will make your heart sing. Don't forget to leave room for desert though, because their brownies and cupcakes are also top notch. Fast and friendly service too. You really can't lose.

Ordered the "Michigan" and was not disappointed. The chipotle mayo is the all star on this sandwich. The peppered toasted bread gave it a kick but wasn't to spicy. Will be back and will reccomended to others.

Love this place. I am working my way through their menu and ten different sandwiches in I've yet to try something I don't like. Their signature 'creations' menu is unparalleled. On a cold rainy day, nothing hits the spot like a Michigan Ave. The peppered toasted sourdough is a revelation. But definitely try all the creations and especially the temporary specials (the holiday sandwich aka 'xmas n July' makes Monte Cristos weep with envy at the expense of being a lil messy.) Speaking of messy, the chicken salad has a hard time staying in the bread but I'll forgive them for it because they season it with an insane amount of dill, which is the correct application for that spice. Other points. Owners are always nice to me and I've never seen them not working behind the counter with staff. Same staff, not a lot of turnover as far as I can tell. I've always felt full and satisfied after eating here. Fresh vegetables as far as I can tell, at least in season. Convenient location downtown.

Real deli delights and interesting combinations. Loved the baked beans but did not care for the cole slaw. The hot pastrami was delicious!

The best Deli I have went to ever! Great food and great service! The sandwiches are fresh and delicious! My favorite is a Cuban sandwich with a side of potato salad and almond cupcake 😋,!!!

Visited for lunch. Had the Cuban and potato salad. Probably the best Cuban I've had. Service was fast and friendly. Even though it was lunch, the line went quick.

Went there on a recommendation from a local. Was within walking distance from the South ridge mall. Got the Wacker Drive, with coleslaw side. Both were excellent, and the owner was very nice guy! Ill be back again when in town!

First time visiting this establishment got the chicken bacon ranch sandwich it was very flavorful pasta salad was very tasty. It even comes with a crunchy pickle. If you are wanting a good homemade sandwich this is the place to go. We will be back.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and wow was I impressed. Don't live in town but my girlfriend kept telling me I needed to try it. Staff were incredibly friendly, both of our sandwiches were top notch and the store was very clean and nice. Can't wait to come back and try more items off of the menu
