Truly an old marvel; its older than a century and a half and still manages to overshadow the new bridge. It's a part of our heritage and we adore it with all our heart. Only two wheelers can cross it these days but it's still beautiful nevertheless. I have so many old memories of crossing this bridge. It's great even as a tourist destination, the riverside view is clear and beautiful.

The Golden Bridge is located at Bharuch. It is considered as Historical Bridge of all the time. Bridge was made by British government in 1881. Bridge is 1.5 km long. It connects two major cities of Gujarat , Bharuch and Ankleshwar. People see it as Very strong and very sound in every atmosphere. People used to visit this bridge now as Historical Bridge. Last Year 2022 , on yoga day , Government arranged a Yoga seminar on this Bridge.

Golden bridge not for heavy vehicles. Its only for bike and it's capacity is 2000kg. It's made of iron but the locals are saying and from different myths this bridge metal is mixed with the gold so that it's called golden bridge.

The bridge πŸŒ‰ is famous to connect National Highway 64 to National Highway 8 towards Bharuch - Ahmedabad. All time busiest bridge running by heavy loading trucks 🚚 and vehicles. Most of time you may face "Chakka jam" traffic while passing through this bridge. Need to expand this space which is next to impossible for the government too but still, I suggest to improve this roads more particularly πŸ‘πŸ»

The Golden Bridge connects Ankleshwar to Bharuch in the Gujarat state of western India. It was built in 1881 by the British, who needed a bridge across the Narmada River to create better access to trade and administration officials in Bombay. The bridge is also called the Narmada Bridge.

Historically old bridge. Still overshadows the new one. Fascinating to see the new bridge and the railway bridge besides the Golden Bridge.

Historical bridge having legacy of 150 year. This will shows the art of engineering chosen before 150 year and standing tall since then. However as of now two new bridges are also constructed across MA Narmada which have solved the traffic congestion problem for the commuter traveling ankleshwar and Bharuch.
