Bhrugu Rishi Temple Is situated near River narmada at Dandia Bazaar.. Oldest Temple of bharuch And also myth told that this city was made by shree bhrugu in past.. very peaceful place.. but there is no caretaking by authorities of bharuch.. So many place in bharuch's are more than 1000+ Years old but sadly no one cares about them..

The temple is famous for brighurishi as it is the oldest temple but today as Saturday so I went really very peaceful place for worship 🙏🙏wanna come here again

Bhrigu Rishi temple is an ancient temple of Bharuch. The city name Bharuch has come from Bhrigu. Bhrigu rishi did tapasya here and wrote his famous book Bhrigu Samhita which is a book of astrology and gives future predictions of lakhs of people. The temple is located in old quarters of the city and in narrow bylanes. It is bit difficult to reach there by 4wheeler. Temple has simple structure. There is vigrah of Bhrigu, Jamdagni and Parshuram. There is shivling which was worshipped by Bhrigu. There are many other shivlings as well as vigrah if many other dieties. There is a locked glass cabinet where Varah and Dattatreya vigrah are installed. Charan Paduka of Dattatreya bhagwan is also there. The charan paduka keeps emanating soft fragrance which can be smelled from the keyhole of cabinet. Thete is also Vallabhacharya Baithak in one of the room, and also Maharshi Bhrigu baithak. There is big shani shrine made on the line of Shani Shignapur. Most of the people come here to worship Shani on Saturday but do not know the ancient history of place.

Beautiful and very old temple of Bhrugu rushi on the banks of Narmada river in Bharuch. Bharuch was named on Bhrugu rushi's name. This temple has very old Shiv lingas of stone. Now it is renovated and other gods also worshipped here. Newly made Sanidev temple is here for puja. It is well maintained by the trust.
