Usually Days Inn hotels are clean reasonable, and friendly. This hotel was not. DO NOT STAY HERE HEALTH HAZARD! There was mold/mildew smell everywhere. Floor felt wet, tiles missing, black mold, and things growing in the fridge. There were broken light fixtures, dirty floors, and the toilet did not work. It says they are remodeling, but this hotel should be shut down. It is a health hazard for people, and if you have any health issues, it will make them worse. Only was in my room for less than 15 minutes, sinus hurt, throat hurt due to the black mold, and mildew. Please DAYS INN investigate this hotel, it give the chain a bad name.

I would give this inn a 1 star if I could. I booked it on hotels.com for 248 dollars for one night just to be able to attend a graduation.. the price was a complete rip off. It was disgusting and not even worth 50 dollars a night. As soon as you enter, your nose gets filled up with a cigarette stink that doesn't go away. The hallway was filthy and needed to be vacuumed. The halls also had old yellow mattresses against the wall, a hazardous large sheet of glass just standing against one of the walls in the hall, and a wheelbarrow with paint and old wood and strange things in it like rusty tools. It took photos and a video and sent it to hotels . Com customer service. My room reeked of cigarette smoke smell and no matter how long the AC ran i couldn't get rid of the stinky smell, and it bothered me so much. It really impacted my breathing. The towels i was given in the bathroom had gross stains on them. And one of the bedsheets' had a cigarette hole in it. One of the lamps also didn't work so the room was dim. Oh, and if you want to buy water or a snack you cant unless you have cash for their weird relic vending machines. This place is straight out of the twilight zone. It is hazardous and unsafe. It is dirty and disgusting. Please do not waste your money at this place. Do not bring your children and do not even give it a chance. I wish I could get my 248 dollars back I complained and sent photos of the gross surroundings in the halls and room but haven't heard back from hotels . Com. I am shocked this place is even open for business.

Ok. So this is going to be a bit contradicting but here goes.. the room check in service was A1. Desk guy was quick friendly and he gave us a great price for a two day stay. Shampoo, conditioner and bodywash dispensers in the shower a definite bonus. The breakfast was way better than the on the go breakfast that other hotels advertise. There was actual hot waffles, bagels. Cereal. Milk. Hot coffee. Restraunt seating. It was quiet all hours. My hubby was able to park his semi truck and trailer with minimal difficulty. Now the cons... Bathroom could have been cleaner. Found condom wrappers under bed. The bed was dented in the middle, but my side was comfy. Vents on air conditioner dirty. Rails on sliding glass doors very dirty and couldn't tell if it was mold or just crud in the grooves. Also as far as I can tell there is no cable just local channels. Not a problem so much, I found things to watch.. but I had a hard time figuring out how to work the TV. No bed bugs Also this hotel is pet friendly. 15 bucks per dog with 2 dog limit So over all this hotel was extremely doable and I will be returning and recommending as well 🙂

Oh my...I had low expectations for the price. We only needed a place to sleep a few hours and didn't expect anything fancy; this experience was simply horrendous. This hotel was in a nice area, however, the hotel was sketchy at best. The exterior entrance had a bullet hole in the glass. Another exterior door didn't lock. The parking lot didn't have enough light to feel safe. Our room had a very questionable odor and the red stains on the carpet were disturbing. If it hadn't been midnight when we arrived I suspect we'd left and looked for a safer room to stay. The beds were terrible. Upon arrival the front desk was unattended and I waited 15 minutes for an employee to check us in. Then it took 3 attempts to get a key that would actually open our room door. It turns out the first room was already occupied!

This hotel has the distinction of being the worst lodging I have ever stayed in. It was not clean, did not even have soap, the dispensers in the shower were empty. The lock on the door didn't function. The peep hole in said door was just a hole, so anyone could look in. The sliding door out to the balcony looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Lastly, one person in our party couldn't even stay there because the deodorizer smell was so strong. No coffee in the morning to speak of. 10 out of 10 never going back.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. Ever. Point blank period. The old black guy at the front desk literally belongs at the insane asylum. Every single employee needs to be fired. Let me not get started on the room. I’ll make this short and sweet, I walked in the room and the toilet was overflown with poop. The customer service is the worst I have ever seen at any establishment EVER. I am ashamed at myself for having stayed at this hotel. I honestly would have had a better night in jail. I asked the old dude for a phone charger because my phone died and had no way of getting anywhere without my phone.. and his exact words were “my phones at 52% I can’t give you my charger”. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. THE OWNER NEEDS TO BE IN PRISON. AND SO DO ALL THE WORKERS.

We were meant to stay here on our way through Michigan, but due to white-out conditions up north, we stopped earlier than we had planned. I tried to call the hotel upwards of fifteen times, and never once did someone pick up the phone. Even though I was not able to speak to anyone on premises about the inclement weather conditions that prevented us from arriving (because again, NO ONE answered the phone ever), the hotel charged us for the room. This felt incredibly dishonest as well as being abysmal customer service. I will not be giving my custom to any Wyndham Hotels if possible in the future. Thanks for nothing, Days Inn Ann Arbor.

This was the worst experience ever at any hotel. For $260 you can find a much better hotel! Management is zero help. There were blood stains and cigarette burns on the bedding. The toilet wouldn’t flush. The ceiling above the shower had mold. And they won’t issue refunds. This is disgusting. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here!!!!

Booked in advance for 5 days assuming it was nice motel. It was being renovated so that was part of the problem. The room was not serviced at all during our stay. We had to ask for clean towels at the desk each day, the lavatory faucet was not mounted to the sink so had to hold the faucet so to turn on water. the ice machines did not work. Tried to check out early but had to pay for that day. We will not stay at a Days Inn in the future. Very disappointed in this motel primarily in the service and unable to check out early. If room had been serviced, I might have understood why, but it was not. Recommend if you stop at this motel, check it out thoroughly before you book a stay.

ZERO STARS This hotel all around is terrible. From customer service to the overall atmosphere just terrible. Eric at the front desk always makes problems out of the most simple things when no one else does when you bring it to their attention just ERIC. Every time I check in I have to move rooms at least once or twice before settling because of leaking, roaches, broken doors, non cleaning, broken TVs. No other front desk receptionist gives me problems about these things because it’s not my fault the rooms are in the condition they are in when you have them listed as “cleaned.” And Eric makes this an issue. If you had people who actually did their jobs there wouldn’t be as many problems. There is no reason housekeeping should be cleaning rooms after 5pm if checkout is at 11am. No one there ever wants do their job there and when they have to it’s a problem. You even have one who just plays his game all day. I’ve waited at the front desk just for a roll of toilet paper because one of them was outside for over 20 minutes smoking. Eric just likes to make things arguments and it’s ridiculous

Pulled up and knew right away, this was not the place for us! Bursted windows, sliding doors off tracts, overgrown grass/weeds waist deep. It almost looked as a shut down hotel. We had booked 3 nights here through Wyndham. We proceeded inside the lobby to notice more broken windows and most of them that wasn’t broken had lost their seal and was fogged up so you couldn’t see in or out of them. Ceiling of the lobby showed large brown spots where the roof had leaked. We went to front desk and asked the employee to see a room, just to give it the benefit of doubt. He told us they don’t show rooms. We told him without seeing the room we wouldn’t be staying and would like a refund. He said we would have to forfeit our first night but would be refunded the remaining. So we left and went elsewhere. A few days later we reached out to customer service and requested a refund for the entire amount due to poor customer service (NEVER been turned down from being able to see the room prior to staying) and the quality of just the lobby and the look of this place. Their response was this was their policy and we wouldn’t get a refund and would be charged for the first night. I let them know I would be leaving a poor review. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY… this place is very sketchy and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. THE PICTURES ARE NOTHING LIKE THE PLACE LOOKS. I should have checked reviews prior to making the reservation. Poor discussion on our part. We went to a near by hotel once we left and they explained that people came to them lots of times in the middle of the night to get away from that hotel, they felt unsafe or saw bugs in the room, NOT GOOD. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!!

Negative Stars! We paid $148 to not get any sleep. The smell of cigarettes is extremely strong upon walking in, but because it was late and we were super jet lagged, we thought we would get use to it. We never did. It was as if the person next door was chain smoking and it was coming through the wall. We spent the night tossing and turning while the a/c with broken bearings rattled intermittently while also sounding like there is a plastic bag caught in it. We got up, after not sleeping, with sore throats and extremely heavy eyelids. Additionally: * The sheets are on the bed so loosely and so poorly made that there always a wad of sheet beneath me. * The light switch by the door doesn’t work. You walk into a dark room and have to grope over to the bed to find a switch. * The toilet runs continuously unless hardly jiggled. Our room was the furthest from the hotel reception and the receptionist demands you come to the desk for the not included blankets. It was after 11pm when we checked in and needing to walk down dank dark hallways was not a welcoming thought. * There was no shampoo, which I didn’t realize until is was in the shower. None of the dispensers of body was and conditioner worked. * The towels were so rough that they felt like they are from a car wash. They left lint all over our bodies as well. * Sound of traffic all night. We just needed sleep! If it weren’t past 10:30, and we had realized the issues we were just starting to notice earlier, we would have asked to change rooms, but we were hoping we would stop noticing, but it was just too nasty. And, honestly, the long distance and the off-putting nature of everyone in reception, made us keep hoping we could nod off and just deal with it. I totally regret holding onto that hope and went into a busy day of many activities half awake and very unhappy. This hotel should not be able to hand the Wyndham name. I question staying in a Wyndham from now on.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We checked into our room and after walking down a very poorly lit hall with dim sconces with exposed wiring and a strong lingering smell of cigarette smoke, we finally got to our room. When I say "our" room, I mean the room that my family was meant to share with the multiple generations of spiders that had clearly been living in this room for months. There were dozens of spiders in the bathtub, the sink, the ceiling, the floor, the walls. We removed a daddy longlegs from the ceiling over one of the beds and came away with the spider as well as a large spider web. We did not spend more than half an hour in the room, the majority of that time was spent removing spiders and trying to calm our two young children. Ultimately, when we tried to wash as many of the spiders down the shower drain and the shower would not drain, we had no other choice but to reload the car and find another place to stay. I would avoid this place at all costs.

DON'T DO IT!!! they refuse to let you see the quality, cleanliness, or even functionality of the room before checking in... rooms have holes in walls, water drains don't work, the entire motel smells like mold and mildew. Visible mold on vents, walks, ect. Some rooms don't have working heat/ac and or plug ins. Most rooms don't have wifi reception. Possibly one of the least pleasant experiences I've ever had... would choose an hourly motel before staying here!

Terrible stay!!! Power was out my entire stay. There were bugs in my room, and bugs in the pool, and the pool was ICE COLD. Hot tub was not running. It was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Eric the GM refused to give me a refund. Never staying here again. It was nasty. Don’t stay here.

This is probably one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Internet didn't work. Looks like mold growing on wall in bathroom which is bad for my health. Shower wall looks caved in. Also has a tile missing. Part of tub missing leaving a gaping hole. Whole place is outdated. Shower curtain dirty with what looks like grease or oil. Messed up ceioingnon shower. Outlet in bathroom is messed up. Holes in lamp shade. Random hanger by door. Dirty and dtaed floor especially by the non working air unit. Which meant a standing heater that didn't keep room heated. Bedding had stains on it. Holes in blankets. TV had some channels. Water doesn't stay in tub for bath. Sliding glass door frozen shut. Spiders in room. Outside looks fine inside needs to be updated badly or the whole place needs to be demolished.

this you see the truth the cleanest room the bathroom without liquefaction. and it shows that they are remodeling it. And the most important thing this time, on the day of departure, they did not bother me by knocking on the door from 9 o'clock when the departure is at 11 o'clock. ( NOTE They are the cleaning women). excellent lobby staff👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Place is a dump, don't think they clean the rooms much. Got a jacuzzi tub and it didn't work, room looked like it was barely cleaned. Barely any toilet paper, cigarette burns in the bed. They're doing work on the rooms and the hallway are covered in debris and stains. Should've slept in my car!

My wife was having an emergency surgery and we stayed here the night before we arrived around 10pm when we got to the room the sliding door to the parking lot was wide open the room had recently flooded and everything but the bed smelled and was at one point covered with water. They tried to cover the musty old water smell with the opened door and turning the AC to its lowest setting but it still stunk. The toilet paper and towels were stale from water the shower was dirty and the door to the room was broken and hung off . The tv was broken. The employee at the desk was more concerned with his video games than customer service. The manager was informed but never returned our calls. On the last call we were informed that unless the manager is on duty when we call they won't call us back. This place would be an upgrade if it went to an hourly rate and had vibrating beds for a quarter. Dont waste your money!

We had two rooms. The first had an extension cord running out of the bathroom across the entrance to what looked like the next room. The bathroom was flooded and filthy. The second room was freezing because of a gap in the outside wall by the room heater. There was black mold on the walls. One of the electrical outlet was uncovered with exposed wiring.

I stayed the 06/29/23 . I honestly didn't like the fact that coffee was not available 24/7. I've worked at a Days inn before and we had to keep hot coffee on hand 24 / 7. It literally takes 5 minutes to make. The best thing about this Days Inn location is that it is walking distance away from a Moroccan Restaurant.

  • 2/5 Sarah K. 5 months ago on Google
First impression, not good. The place smelled heavily of cheap cologne, but maybe that was just the disinfectant they used? The electrical bits were exposed in places and sus in others. Exposed flooring in the bathroom - with maybe some mold? The soap dispenser had black things in the shampoo and body wash, which eventually started running clear, but not before I had already put it in my hair (I'm blind without my glasses, and I couldn't see well in the shower). My scalp is still a bit itchy. The toilet seat has a comfortable upgrade, but since the lid didn't fit the bowl, well... Don't sit too far forward (in a comfortable position), if you know what I mean. Last negative, the extension cable was super sticky. Pretty sure from disinfectant, but I didn't like it. On the plus, the bed and pillows were nice. The disinfectant had to mean something, and the furniture was ok. All in all, it was what I expected. Oh, and no bugs. That's always a plus in my opinion. Edit 2 more positives: the price was good, but also matches the quality. The location to the city was also good.

Absolutely disgusting of a room, there was a package of boiled eggs left in the fridge that expired in August... mold everywhere... There was trash all over the outside walkout from the room. The fridge made a loud buzzing sound, which could have been drowned out from the air conditioning system... but that didn't work either. So I got no sleep & couldn't even have ice for my water, sinxe none of the ice machines worked. So, I'll be changing any future plans to stay there to somewhere else.

I am not sure where they got the pictures on the website because they are not reality. The outside was disgusting. The lobby smelt like smoke and other nasty things. The staff were extremely unhelpful. We finally found where our room was located, no thanks to the staff. The hallway smelt and was very dark. When we got to our room, we were disgusted. The curtains had stains, there was mold on the ceiling, litter outside the sliding glass doors, etc... 3 minutes in the room my throat was burning. It was truly disgusting. They charged us over $300 a night because there was a football game in town - that price is outrageous when a beautiful hotel down the road charged less. We could not stay in this room - we rather sleep in our car. I read the reviews after the fact and read a customer was told they had to speak to the manager for a refund - we were feed the same line. Then they said they would not refund us anything - for either night. I am not sure how this place is not shut down by the health department. We booked through Expedia and they should also be a shamed of themselves for posting this pit on their website. DO NOT stay here and think twice about trusting Expedia. I can't believe Wyndham has their name attached to this place. It was unhealthy and unsafe.

Besides the very comfortable bed, this was a deeply do sappointing experience. The room (118) was thick with a wet, dirty, nauseating odor from a water leak that soaked the carpet next to the bed. The towels are the worst! Small, and like scraping your skin with 80-grit sandpaper. The patio was filthy with cigarette butts and other garbage. Why does this hotel chain operate this site like it’s a slum-lord profiting off poverty? Shameful!

This place is absolutely disgusting. Do not waste your time and drive the extra 15-20 mins for a nicer hotel. We came in from Ohio for the Michigan game and booked from Hotels.com.The water in the shower dripped constantly causing mold in the shower. There were holes in the quilts on the bed from what appeared to be cigarette burns. There was mold on the floors and the walls. Last but not least there was BLOOD on the sheets. Dried up blood. We left instantly and they told us they could not give us a refund until the manager comes in on Monday. We drove 15 mins away to a Holiday Inn Express and it was $100 cheaper and much nicer. Do not waste your time.

The only reason it gets a 2 is that the room was clean. However there were 3 of us in the room and only enough towels for 2 people. We asked 3 times the evening we checked in for another set and never got them. And after a person in our party took a shower before bed there was A LOT of water come out from under the wall into the room. That took up all the towels. We called the desk and the maintenance man came with a arm load of dirty towels and threw on the floor. He said no other rooms were available and left. The next morning I went and asked at desk for towels--he said he had none left and we would have to wait for housekeeping which was due in in 15 minutes. Never got any towels. The hallways were dirty. The hot tub was broken but not drained and was disgusting. They offered us a luggage cart when we came in but were on the second floor with no elevator-not a whole lot of use there. We were suppose to stay 3 nights and only stayed that 1. They gave my sister a hard rude time about a refund so we got the booking company after them to try and get a refund. We will see how that goes. Very very poor place.

"HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBLE" ROOMS ARE A JOKE! My handicapped brother had been discharged from UM Hospital and needed a place to stay while we looked for an assisted living facility for him. I knew this wasn't a 5-star hotel but they supposedly had accessible rooms, the location was convenient, and prices were economical; I made a reservation for 5 days. The room was just as it was left by the (very messy) last guests. The desk offered another room, but that one smelled bad and the only "accommodation" was a grab bar in the back wall of the tub, which he couldn't have gotten into, and nothing by the toilet. I told the desk that was unacceptable and I would find somewhere else. They said a refund would have to be OK'd by the manager, who wasn't there, but they would leave a note. When I heard nothing I assumed there would be no charge, but his card was charged for the entire 5 days. When I called, the manager agreed to refund 4 days but not the first day because we didn't cancel ahead of time. I will be pursuing that with his credit card company.

The shining point of this stay was Tina. The breakfast offered is basic. The place was under maintenance but everything still worked, As hotel usual the pool was very cold. My only real issue was the bugs in the breakfast area including in the microwave, but when I reported this they did take some steps to correct it. I forgot to take a pic or two before I unpacked. :)

1st customer service is Very poor. We had 2 issues and I called the front desk. When we turned on the bathroom sink the water went all over the floor. Maintenance came & said that we need to get a new room. He left. I followed him a few later to the front desk. As I approached the front desk I heard him bad mouthing me & all the guests who come there to the so called manager. Saying what do they expect this is not the Ritz or a 5 star hotel. He turned around & saw me and said oh hi. I told them I expect to have a place to stay that isn't broken down and not to be treated poorly or bad mouthed behind my back. This place smells bad, cigarette smoke, our bed was 2 beds pushed together, shower doors were gross inside shower needed cleaned. Patio door handle broken, cops at hotel every hour, sheets dirty we slept on top of quilt in our clothes. Horrible Customer Service and Horrible Hotel!!!! We left after 1 night and went somewhere else!

DON'T STAY HERE! Once we walked past the front desk, the place smelled of mold and marijuana. The hallways were absolutely filthy. It looked like they hadn't vacuumed in months. The room had feces all over the floor and there was vomit splattered all over the desk. The refrigerator was unusable. The smell was horrendous. The refill machines of the shampoo and conditioner were completely empty. There were no trash cans. The ice machine was broken and water was pouring all over the carpet. It was literally the worse hotel experience I have ever had. I used to think Days Inn was a respectable, decent hotel for families...not anymore.

The rooms are continuously being evaluated. Management took on a larger than most project to rejuvenate, revitalize, 'save' a property that fell into ruin. As well as create job opportunities & provide housing for community members. Every time I have been fortunate enough to stay, I only see improvements. The staff listens to suggestions. I do my part to bring observations to the staff with what would literally be "constructive" criticism. While staying here, my motto has been my grandmother's: when a guest, leave any place better than you found it. Be the change we want to see in the world. Regardless of the conception certain travellers may "expect": this establishment embodies & promotes uplifting the community.

This was a horrible experience. We stayed the weekend of art fair so the price was over $100 a night and in all honesty it wasn't even worth $50. The entire entrance way where breakfast was served smelled of smoke. There were stains on the ceiling and outlets were painted over, the TV didn't work and not only was our room not clean (we found some sort of dead roach or bug behind the lamp) but the entire hotel was disgusting there was trash in all the hallways and the room filled with cleaning supplies was wide open and just as disgusting if not more disgusting then the rest of the hotel. We had no choice but to stay because I was there for a family emergency and once things calmed down I called the booking site (hotwire) to complain and get a refund and they told me since I didn't complain during my stay they would not do anything about it. In all honesty I wasn't expecting a very nice stay considering the location, price and rating of a 2 star hotel but this went way beyond my expectations.

Front desk staff was super friendly at check inn. Our ac wasn't working however we called the front desk and maintenance was on top of it immediately also maintenance brought a fan for us to use. Room was nice. No complaints. I am a general manager of a hotel so my expectations are high.

Checked into my room to find the bed wasn't made and it looked like someone was still residing in the room. They gave me a new room which was nicer but the walls are paper thin and was woken up at night from loud noises from the hallway. The room door was also falling off the hinge making it unable to fully shut without lifting the door up off the ground. The breakfast was pretty lame too. At least there was yogurt.

Days inn on Carpenter road used to be a good place to stay now, door hinges falling off the door, locks not wanting to open, had to sleep under only sheets, breakfast was horrible! No butter milk or anything like that, and all the food is out of everything at only 7am. The ice machines don't even work, the high expenses and terrible service. They even lied about the hot tub, when I rented my room they closed the hot tub down. the days inn is past it's day they need improve it or close it down. I think it really needs to close down.

It was dirty. It stunk. Nothing in shower to keep you from falling. Tv had like five channels and nothing local. We had the random channel where the video didn't match the audio. The building was falling apart. The service that is supposed to give you wake up calls didn't work. Good thing my phone's alarm worked.

Booked a room there because of the ice storm. Found out they had no handicap rooms available and they only have stairs fie the top floor. Had to go thru 4 rooms before one was suitable. First room was upstairs in the back corner and had a huge stain between the beds that looked like a combination of blood, vomit, and cappuccino and the beds half stripped. Obviously not ready for occupancy. Second room was downstairs in the opposite back corner and the lock plate had been ripped off the door with the wires hanging out of it. Third room was upstairs in the other back of the hotel and the beds were half stripped and there was maintenance equipment and tools spread across the floor. Fourth room we settled on because it was 11 pm and we had been walking around this entire hotel and up and down the stairs for an hour at this point and we were tired. Did I mention I'm handicapped? Even in that fourth room, there was a crack in the toilet seat that went all the way thru and the toilet paper holder had been broken off the wall. In the hallways there is maintenance stuff all over you have to weave in and out off, including full tubs and shower units they are switching out. The staff flat out refused to give us a discount or reimburse. It was a nightmare. Never ever again. None of those rooms should have been available for use.

I really don't like leave bad reviews, but this hotel was the worst I ever stayed in,the first room we were given was on the ground floor, the hallway smell like weed, the toilet backed and the water spilled on the floor, the tub did not drain, the fridge need a crowbar to open. No coffee, as most hotels provide, they move us to an upstairs, thing got alittle better, I spend 8 days there, My room was cleaned once, I had to provide my own blankets, the tub again wouldn't drain on my last night , Theres no elevators. My sister and I are seniors, and walking up stairs is very difficult for us. The breakfast the hotel provides, is simply nothing, toast, waffles, bagals and some sort sweet, its was a very nasty experience. I am not sure if they employs a cleaning staff, and I ask front desk repeatedly to have my room clean, it was done on the night last night of my stay. Most of the desk clerk were nice and friendly, in particular a young man named Imani, who was very helpful in getting me some blankets. There were times when the front desk not manned, and guests had wait around. I suggest, anyone wanting to stay there, think twice about it. I hope this helps.

No power to tv, fridge & microwave and how am I supposed to figure that out? Second day juice was not working or turned on. The rooms were decent but hallways smell of BO! I guess this is why it’s the cheapest around!

The room was so dirty. Dried blood stains on the carpet and in the bathroom, whole place reeked of cigarettes, dirty bathroom. One roll of toilet paper and two towels, when we asked for more the worker was very rude. Both beds didn’t have blankets, when we asked for more toilet paper, towels and blankets he said “can I do anything more? Do you guys want a cocktail too” very passive aggressive and rude. Don’t stay here y’all.

The reservation was originally booked for 2 days 7/10 and 7/11 for orientation days at UMich. Due to a medical emergency we had to checkout early on 7/11 at 8am. I was informed that I would not be charged for the second day, however upon review of the charges on my card I was charged for both days. I called the hotel and the staff member said I would need to speak with a manager. I have been calling for several days and each time I called I was told I would need to call back. I had numerous reservations booked for the future and I just cancelled all of them. I have stayed at Wyndham hotels in the past and this was the worse experience I have ever had.

We booked a room with 2 queen beds through priceline. When we got there we were but in a room with 2 twin beds, the lights, fridge and tv were all unplugged. When we got everything plugged in, there was no cable in our room. They put us in another room with 2 twin beds, there was a busted mirror in the room in which we told the front desk it was fine since we had been on the road all day and had another long day ahead of us. Room was clean just didn't get what we booked and it's very uncomfortable for 2 adults to sleep on a twin size bed

The beds were comfortable! There were no blankets or comforters on bed, we had to ask for covers! The next morning, we want for breakfast and coffee at 6:20am the staff member had just started making coffee and had an attitude with a coworker when asked why the breakfast was not ready!

One of the mattresses was still in the plastic packaging, had to rip that off. The room itself was fairly clean but the entire hotel was pretty dingy. The hallways had all sorts of construction equipment in them and old mattresses against the wall. Needed a quick place to stay for the night so it made due.

I have stayed at Days Inn in other cities. Never had a problem. But this one was the filthiest, broken down, disgusting motel I have ever come across. Beds and bedding were stained, with blood or something and too scary to sleep on. Pool was broken but after switching 3 rooms because of filth, you wouldn't want to swim anyways. Poop on bathroom wall, everything was stained from beds, carpet, chairs. Cigarette butts on balcony with burn holes in curtains and broken screens. Uncleaned broken sink faucet, pubic hair on toilets. Heater didn't work in one maybe 2 of the rooms but had so much mold in it that it was best not to turn it on. We were too tired after 3 room changes and traveling but couldn't sleep anyways because of the worry about the filth. But could not get a refund. The place made me feel like puking but it must have for everyone because there was puke or something in the smelly hallways.
