If zero or negative stars was an option it would be that. AC didn't work and was blowing hot air on a 90 degree day, toilet leaks and flooded the carpet, ceiling falling in with plaster on the bed, everything is dirty and grimy, it literally looks like someone was writing in blood on the walls, also the chain inside the door has been taken off AND the doors are cracked looking like there's been some past violence here, the sheets and towels never got turned (despite the front desk knowing our toilet was leaking and we had to use the towels to mop up... Apparantly "the maid is off" on a weekend), all the phones are disconnected, the pool looks like a biology experiment. This should be condemned and torn down 👎 don't stay here even if you're desperate.

This place is trash! After walking through the place, we decided not to stay here and lost out on our money. Everything was disgusting and it is very evident that the place has not been kept up. Save your time and money.

I booked through Expedia for this hotel. We were staying in town for a local event and thought the price was good so decided to book.. Upon arrival, the building looked “sketchy”. Once inside it smelled of mold and was in bad shape. The front desk clerk was friendly and we decided to check in. People were hanging out in the hallways and I just had a bad feeling.. I decided I’d check the mattress for bed bugs and if it was clean, then we’d stay. Although I did not find any bugs or signs of them, I found HEROIN NEEDLES under my mattress!!! Needless to say we checked out. Staff offered us another room, but we were just ready to run out of there. Luckily, I had purchased room insurance and was able to get my money back. I do NOT recommend staying here. Just plain dirty and unsafe. The city should shut this place down.

This hotel actually allows child trafficking. Don't take my word for it, check with channel 2,4,7 or the Ann Arbor police. The owner doesn't mind and when the FBI, Washtenaw County Sheriff's and Ann Arbor police roll in with 2 SWAT teams you'll be told to leave with no refund or care from the owner/staff. Apparently it's common here.

DISGUSTING BREAKFAST WAS OLD COFFEE AND THAT'S I T ROOMS WERE NASTY BLACK MOLD ON CEILING HAIR BALLS AND TRASH UNDER THE SIDES OF THE BED NEEDLE ON THE FLOOR BY THE HEAD BOARD SHEETS SMELLED LIKE OLD SMOKE. DRUG TRAFFIC LIKE CRAZY. EMPLOYEES WERE RUDE AND NOT ACCOMIDATING .. I could go on but I'm sure you get my drift. ZOOM in on the pics and look at how DISGUSTING this DUMP IS. SOMETIMES THAT /$10-$20 YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE THAN WHAT THIS HEALTH HAZARD HAS YOU PAY IS WELL WORTH IT . GOOD LUVK AND SAFE TRAVELS!

My room flooded and the shower broken my microwave almost caught fire and they can’t even give me a new room… or anything to make it right it’s so dirty in here I’d almost rather sleep in the car. Gives me haunted resident evil vibes. Don’t even feel safe they took their locks off the door! How sketchy is that. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy shake my head!!

There's no one at front desk. It smells funny. There's homeless people walking the halls and the rooms smelled like smoke even though they are smoke free! Also the pool is empty and mildew!! Front desk is not friendly and elevators click and are full of mildew! Absolutely will not stay ever again!!

Place smells dirty, very very run down. Our room was NOT clean. Bathroom had used bar soap with hair on it. Pool is drained an green and garbage floating in the 1 foot if water. Mattress are spring loaded if you get my meaning. NO INTERNET. WiFi yes but no internet Tv is out dated, fuzzy reception hard to watch Wall paper in entire hotel falling off all over the place. NO BREAKFAST MINI FRIDGE does not work and was very dirty I know COVID is widely used as the excuse to reduce services. So why not at least clean the hotel. Very Very DIRTY place. If a cigarette had a rear end..well that's the overall smell in the hotel. On the positive side they had lots of rooms available! I booked through an app paid 79 per night. You can book with hotel and get 59 per night with cheaper weekly rates. Extremely disappointed!!!!!!!

Disgusting nasty hotel. There was garbage in my room, along with broken appliances, blunt roaches in various places, a stained bed (and it didn’t even look like it was cleaned), dirty walls and bathroom. And MUCH more. This place is awful. Gross. Charged $130 and didn’t even bother to give me a clean room. I refused to stay there and went somewhere else. I was there for about 15 minutes, that’s all I could take. They refused a refund

Definitely get what you pay for. Very shabby and old looking. Needs major facelift. The hallways smell like cigarettes even though it's a no smoking place. The room was actually a decent size, and the AC unit worked well in the room

Not sure about all the bad reviews but I'm here and it's decent for the price. The pool is closed but understandable for the price to have that liability. Clean rooms and walkways. Very old building could use some tlc but the staff friendly quiet clean nice size room

terrible place. did not even stay here once we saw inside and they refuse to refund me. I will blast this place until they refund me my money when I never stayed there once. terrible franchise, never stay here. owner is greedy, smells horrible, gross on the inside everywhere. also saw a few rats in and around the building.

Horrible! Shabby and not well maintained. Four different carpets patched into one hallway and dirty. Heat didn't work, toilet didn't work. Unfriendly manager. Layers of plastic to cover window at reception with small hole @ bottom to try to speak through. I'd give it a zero if I could...

We didn't stay here...it looked pretty sketchy so I looked online an learned it's being torn down...good choice. I would not even consider staying here....

I loved my room 😍 one of the tvs didn't work tho and the air conditioner was messed up it was room 237 second floor the lady at front desk really rude and don't leave your room after 11 I had multiple people walk up on me in the parking lot zombiefied

They guy wouldnt make a reservation. told me to come in and pay cash.... but couldnt guarantee that there'd be any rooms left. Asked to reserve online but it was 100$ but told me to come in and pay cash 77$ WHAT THE HELL..?? trying to plan a trip and feel like he was trying to scam me. 100% WOULDN'T STAY HERE!!!!!!! idiots

I do not understand, how motel like this continues to do business! Proper authority must take steps to immediately close this motel with penalty. Absolute disaster... People, just avoid this slum.. if you stay, you will loose your all trust on motels in USA.

I booked the room online thru Expedia. Once arrived the afternoon to check in, what a disappointment. As coming in, parking lot had pot holes all over, exterior of building looked like nothing has been touched in years. As walking into the building the pool was empty, mold and weeds all over and around it. Once in the door a random person was sitting on a bench in the hall. No one was at the front desk and had to wait. Lady behind counter was not friendly, didn't even say her name. She handed a guy some of "his mail" as he come in while checking in. We had a room on the 3rd floor. We went way down the hall to the elevator, the building was dark and smelled of cigarette smoke. Finally got to the elevator and had the button numbers missing, was gross inside and sounded like it was going to brake. We got to the room to find a dark, dirty, stinky room. It had 2 towels in the bathroom, tub surround was coming loose and mold, mold on the shower curtain. The TV was older than me and no cable or anything. My wife wouldn't even put our bags down on anything. We only stayed a few minutes in the room, went back down and left. Even if they gave us another room we would not stay there. We were so grossed out we didn't even take pictures.

Jan 2022 What an absolute dump!! The entire hotel reeks and is falling apart. Room was covered in stains all of sorts on curtains carpets etc. I opened room fridge once it was disgusting. Plumbing did not work(shower backed up) when I enter the room. I go to dial front desk and the phone isnt attached to anything. Elevator tags several months out of date. Roof leaks in multiple areas across the property. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CONDEMNED ASAP IT IS DANGEROUS TO STAY HERE AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Lady at front desk is awesome...if u need a warm place to stay that won't break your bank and your not high falooteny try stopping here

Me and my fiance checked inn the other day and the everything was fine when we checked in with the current staff that was their at the time we proceeded to our room but the next day I had a eye appointment and my fiancee had to work I left for my appointment and when I got back the Staff worker name (Perry) says the she can't reset my card key cause it's state law if your name is not on room and I never hear of that with 2 guess on the room, But after that she tells me I don't belong here to me and the housekeeper at the time, I had to call my fiancee for her to have to call off of work just so we can just get the a key card reset and for her to tell my fiancee that it looks like a steal!

I woke up and was getting my things gathered my phone had fallen off the niggt stand next to me and BAM there was a hypadermic needle with blood in it fro. A past drug user ... ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BE BACK IF ID GOT POKED ID GONE CRAZY

This place was horrible. The board of health should come to this place and close it up. I had to go out and buy pillows, blankets and towels. The TV picture was blurry the fridge in the room didn't work. The smell in the lobby was bad due to the restaurant next door. The bathroom toilet didn't work. Shut this hotel down ASAP.

This is my 2nd favorite place to stay, its on the cheaper side but has nice homie quality feel to it. Plus the staff are very socialable, friendly and helpful. The rooms have a spacious set up for the price. Also, my favorite part one of the walls is a mirror, that sits opposite of the window. I absolutely love when you can reflect sunlight into your room. Makes everything look amazingly bigger and brighter. Fun! 😃😇

The hotel is disgusting!!! The carpet, walls, couches were stained!!! Bathtub was disgusting dirty with mold and paint chips in the tub!!!!! Smelled like no tomorrow!!! Old lady at front counter refused to give me a refund!!!! I’d rather sleep on the street! No phone in room and lights didn’t work.

Room are totally outdated and in desperate need of a update. When they say you get what you pay for I feel like in this occasion I got so much less! The room was $70 for the night and it should have been $40. I must admit there are no rodents or bugs so I guess that's a plus. Not a family motel so please don't bring your children to prevent them from being traumatized and look at you and say Mommy/Daddy why🤷‍♂️

Whew...I had hoped the other negative reviews weren't accurate but...they are. Positives - cheap Negatives - everything else I think I hurt my back sleeping on their spring mattress.

This is the worst hotel I have ever been in. Everything reeks of cigarettes. Walls are peeling. Ceilings are collapsing in spots. Super dusty in all rooms. Everything is extremely unclean. Please find somewhere else.

Parking lot is rough to say the least, kinda sketchy outside. Pool was closed and has been for about 2 years now. Hallway smelled like cannabis, carpets were filthy. Got to the room and it was pitch black, light by the room was super dim, lamps were not much better. Carpet needed to be vacuumed. Bath tub was filthy, there were hairs (pubic, I think) on the walls of the bathroom. Tub floor was disgusting. There were 2 hand towels and no wash cloth. Sheets smelled like oil, and there weee no actual blankets, just sheet and duvet. Tv had 10 channels, no microwave, and fridge was pulled to end of bed. Only vending machine was in lobby and way overpriced.
