Was looking forward to spoiling my husband for his birthday with a couples massage only to be called up 24hr beforehand to have our appointment cancelled. I had organised a whole day in the bay and had booked well in advance. They said due to Covid outbreaks they have decided only to have hotel guests be able to get massages. (Even if we are double vaxed). I had emailed head office my disappointment and was still turned down. Whether we are staying there the night or visiting the day it shouldn’t make a difference as our booking was already locked in.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Friendly, professional staff, immaculate, private, beautifully relaxing environment. The Relaxation Lounge room is the cherry on top! Highly recommended 😊

Amazing!! I experienced the mumma package on my birthday. The staff were very lovely. I was taken through to change into a comfy robe and slippers, taken upstairs to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea while I waited for the therapist to come and take me into the treatment room. The package included a pregnancy massage, facial and hair treatment. I was asked about my skin condition prior to starting to ensure the appropriate products were used on my face. The massage bed was sooooo comfy with the nicest sheets and a big hole for my pregnant belly. The bed also inclines to ensure comfortability when lying on your back. The facial and hair treatment were also amazing. The therapist was so lovely and gentle which made the experience so nice. I would definitely go back next time I’m at the anchorage! 😊

Since October I had confirmed a booking at Spa Lucca for my partners 21st birthday. Being students, and living in an interstate lockdown for majority of the year, We were so excited to get to have our experience as the staff were nothing but lovely and hospitable over the phone and via email. However yesterday (2 days before our appointment) we were notified that we would not be able to attend our treatment UNLESS we were staying in the hotel. I know first hand how Covid debilitates businesses, however there are no Covid guidelines in place in NSW to stop or limit external guests entering the spa. My partner and I are both fully vaccinated and would be more than happy to fund a Rapid Antigen Test upon arrival. We are fully prepared to abide by Covid guidelines. The fact that there isn’t really a reason why our treatment (that we travelled over 700kms for) was cancelled apart from “sorry there’s Covid cases everywhere” , I think is quite ridiculous considering people staying at the hotel may attend the spa without saying what they have and haven’t been exposed to (with most of their clients being from Sydney as rooms are $550/+ night!). My appointment should be as valid as any other person booked into the spa, regardless of where I’m staying … On my part, I feel really frustrated by the policies behind spa Lucca as other businesses have adopted measures like Rapid Testing and temperature checks on arrival to ensure the safety of both patrons and staff- a fabulous and VERY affordable measure to ensure general safety!.. The fact that they seem like they can’t be bothered is just lazy. Covid is something that has been declared that we must live with BY NSW STATE GOVERNMENT, so your excuse again feels lazy. What? You didn’t think nor were you prepared for an increase in Covid cases given your WHOLE market and town thrives off the movement of people and the tourism sector?! Lazy!! Sure the treatment is nice and the staff are polite, but the policy from my end has been extremely frustrating. 3 months ago, I would be the first person to understand. I feel bad for the other people in the same boat… until proven otherwise, this is so disappointing.

My wife loved her treatment, said it was the best day spa experience she’s ever had! It was a great way to kick off our wedding anniversary weekend. Helpful and friendly, the ladies made a wonderful effort to ensure my wife left relaxed and comfortable. Now I want to come back and experience this for myself.

Friendly staff, lovely ambience, beautify view from the lounge. My husband booked Facial and full body massage for my 30th and I was not disappointed. I really enjoyed the experience and I can't wait to go back for more!

Amazing spa ever! I would love to go every week if I can, but unfortunately I live very far away🥲 remember to book earlier! It’s very relaxing and I almost fall asleep during my facial with Chloe 💕 I didn’t take any pictures, because it’s a place for relaxation!

One of the best day spa experiences we have ever had! From the complimentary spa and sauna beforehand, the tranquil treatment rooms and then the rooftop relax room with tea, it was a 5 star experience from start to finish. Will 100% be booking again!

I love staying at the Anchorage but the spa really needs to level up their customer service to be aligned with the hotel's standards. Very poor customer service which has left a sour taste and will not be stepping in the spa again.

I came here for a solo holiday and decided last minute to try the spa. I’ve never experienced a service or day spa like this. I get facials and massages regularly in Sydney as men’s skin sometimes needs a bit more than a face wash! From the moment I walked in, I was made to feel comfortable, welcome and at ease. The ladies were the most professional and experienced therapists I’ve ever come across. The men’s detox and destress massage and facial was unbelievable. I ended up coming back 3 days in a row. The cleanliness, facilities and service is of the highest quality and I’d rate these ladies and the spa itself in the top 10 day spas in the world. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing! My husband surprised me with the replenish package during our stay. Loved every minute of my treatment, my skin still feels amazing a few days later. My facial was amazing I have never had anything quite like it, Amanda was fantastic and has definitely perfected her craft of facial massage. I will drive up from Sydney just for a facial massage again!
