We only had drinks but will be making this a regular spot. Great gulf breeze and atmosphere. Next time we are getting a pool pass for the day.

5 stars without a doubt. I don't know where these bad reviews are coming from. My husband and I came here for a lunch date during our family vacation. Not only were we greeted by a super nice hostess, we ended up with an even better waiter. He was quick to get our drinks out to us and take our request for an appetizer. We ordered the fried green tomatoes with candied pecans and goat cheese. They were so delicious. I'd even say they were better than the ones I got from The Whistle Stop Cafe in Georgia earlier that week. So that's saying something! For our entrées, my husband ordered the pineapple sirloin and I ordered the fish & grits. Both were amazing. The portion sizes are so big that neither of us could finish our food entirely. Yes, the prices are a tiny bit high, but have you seen the prices at other places nearby? I think the prices are actually pretty fair. Ask to be seated outside if you can. We were able to watch dolphins while eating. My one and only complaint would be how long it took to get our check. Other than that, not a problem. We've been coming to the area for 30 years now. When I saw this restaurant being built a few years ago, I knew we had to try it. I'm happy we did. We will be returning customers!

We love this restaurant. I really like the style and ambience. It is so nice to sit in the open space by the sea and enjoy the fantastic view of the bay.The service was great. The staff is very friendly and the food is awesome. Every dish we had was great. We‘ll be back for sure!!!

This is a wonderful spot just off the island with wonderful views. The food was very good Florida Beach Bar and Grill fare. We loved the fried green tomatoes appetizer. My wife had the shrimp gumbo and I had the deep southern fried chicken sandwich with curly fries. Good and tasty, but not exceptional. We had an outside table overlooking the water and the sunset. Service was excellent.

I went here with some friends for drinks and dinner and had a great experience overall. We sat at a table overlooking the water and it was quite pleasant. The people who worked there were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend going- great atmosphere and good food!

To begin our host was very mundane when we walked in, seated us without a word. Our server was amazing, Sky was great with orders and service. When 3 steaks came out over cooked and one VERY undercooked it was a little shocking. The 3 over cooked came back out a little better but the under cooked came out worse (picture). Kitchen Manager was amazing and Sky our server was great. Fry’s we’re amazing and hush puppies were decent. Overall I would recommend a better chef or to tell the chef to turn the grill down and aim for quality not a short waiting time.

First time dining here. Was a great experience. Sat out on the patio overlooking the water. Casual dining. Bloody Mary's were excellent and so was the food! Ordered a couple of the salads, fish tacos and grouper sandwich. All were very tasty. Server was pleasant and had a great personality. Restaurant offers indoor, outdoor dining. They have a fantastic sized bar outside. We will definitely be back!

We tried this restaurant out after looking for something new. We were seated fairly quickly & drink orders taken, yet we waited about 10 minutes to actually receive the drinks. During that time, the host came up & asked us how our experience was…we only had our straws. The fish & chips looked like a very large piece of fish, yet the actual fish was tiny compared to the excessive amount of batter. The crab cakes had shell in them & were crunchy. The sauce on my fathers pasta was so thin that the noodles were not even coated when he put them in his mouth, it simply slid off. It was an incredibly disappointing experience. The best part of the restaurant was the shark hanging above the bar.

Overall solid experience for a waterfront restaurant. View was good, no wait and waitress was nice. Usually you sacrifice quality for location but Floridays did a good job overall.

Nice view of the Pier 77 marina and private waterway. Food is good. Staff was friendly. Everybody in my party liked the fish tacos. I had the seafood gumbo which was good.

Restaurant seems to rely on atmosphere over service and food quality. Shrimp tacos were very overcooked, and the cucumber salad (cucumbers &tomatoes) was heavily dressed and, in my opinion, not something I'd prefer in a taco. They overpowered the dish. The blackened grouper sandwich was okay. The fish was tasty, but the bread was stale & fell apart... making a huge mess. Crab dip appetizer definitely won the whole meal. Service lacked BIG TIME. For an early Thursday night, I'm not sure if they didn't have enough servers or what, but they all (3) seemed basically non-existent for all tables. A little personality can go a long way in the food service industry. I can't see us returning in the future.

Went there for lunch on a fishing day. They have a nice boat slip to eat there. We got the gumbo which was really good and a garden salad. The view and ambiance is spectacular. The bartender was very nice and attentive. We definitely be back soon.

AWESOME, great food, great service, great vibe/ seating. We sat outside and while it was hot, it was nice, the fans and breeze made it comfortable. Our server was GREAT and all the food was tasty, as were the drinks, they also offer military discount‼️✌🏽

What can I say I was not impressed with the service provided. The gentleman that sat us was wonderful also had the pleasure of seeing him at The Ugly Grouper where the service was awesome. Our server Katie was cordial but not attentive or suggestive about plates visited the table on in a while even though the place was not busy. The Calamari appetizer was rubbery had to chew it a couple of times to swallow so not fresh. But I do have to say that I did like the Shrimp Burger I would rate it an 8 out of 10. I was not pleased with Frozen Strawberry Lemonade it was very watery so just stuck with my Tito's on the rocks. If you don't mind okay service you can pop in and have a shrimp Burger.
