The ultimate was nallampatti rice, kozhi rasam, karuvepplai prawns, mutton chukka and moru moru prawns. Their parottas were very big and they serve 2. It was very good. Egg veech and normal veech both were good. Their salna itself was tasted awesome. Kalakki was good.

I recently visited Erode Amman Mess in Anna Nagar, Chennai. 🦸🦸🦸🦸The ambiance added to the dining experience, creating a welcoming atmosphere. 🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳The service was prompt and attentive, enhancing the overall satisfaction of my visit for lunch and had a delightful experience.🕺🕺🕺🕺🕺 The Parotta 🫓🫓🫓🫓with Chicken gravy 🐔🐔🐔🐔🐓🐓🐓was flavorful, and the Chicken Kaatu Varuval🐓🐓🐓🐓was both delicious and satisfyingly spicy. The option of Cup meals🍚🍚🍚🍗🥓🍗🍖 with poriyal, Rasam, and curd caters well to variety eaters. Overall, a very good place to savor a satisfying and enjoyable lunch—I left 🌺🥀🌹🌹🥀thoroughly satisfied.🙏🙏🍤🙏🙏🔆🥦🌻

Erode Amman Mess, located in Anna nagar.,which is one among the prime spots in chennai. That banana leaf serving is the real feel of having non vegetarian food. Rasam, Kola oorundaw, Japan chicken, mutton chukka, paraota, chappati, mutton briyani, egg paraota are all good. Must recommended. Explore more varieties of dishes during normal days and enjoy the taste. Definitely over crowded during weekends and festival times. So that you may miss a few dishes upon serving would be limited and for the dining it would take minimum 20-30minutes

Amazing food and quick service. We ordered a number of dishes and the only thing that was a huge mess was the chicken 65. Every other dish- the biryani, nethili Fry, vanjram fry, prawn karivepilai fry, egg kothu, nalli fry and all the other dishes were delicious. We did get a table for five the moment we got there. I did hear that there is always a long wait, but fortunately we did not need to wait. Definitely a must go!

Ambience was little ok. Always crowded even during week days . Went there after watching Vignesh Sivan's interview. Japan chicken is more of a starter kinda thing . It doesn't go well with any other thing because of it's Sweetness. Parotta was also good. Dynamite panner was too spicy but so soft & most importantly one of the most tasteful Seeraga Sambha Biriyani. Go for biriyani only in the afternoon. Will try other dishes when we go next time . Had to wait atleast 10mins to get a table . Price is definitely on the higher end . But the main advantage is even though it will take time for u to get a table , u will receive the foods within 10mins as soon as u order. I think most of the foods are prepared well In advance.

The place offers a good variety of non vegetarian food and some vegetarian food ! If you're non vegetarian just go for it and if you want veg , just skip it ! You're better off getting food from somewhere else ! Most of the tables were occupied!

We had ordered Briyani , Japan chicken , parota ,palkova parota ,prawn fry . The taste was good but the only concern is the quantity of the starters they provide... The prawn fry especially which I tried at their thiruvanmayur branch had a good quantity and the price was also the same but here the quantity was a letdown... And the cleanliness of the place has to be improved. The floor was full wet with footmarks and was quite slippery. Overall if your looking for good taste , U can go here. The parking here will be a paid one by Government which is Rs 20/hour.

Different from regular restaurants and worth a try. Menu is more aligned towards the erode local while there are items with Chinese influence. Food tasted good and price was little higher for the quantity provided. Seating is cluttered and people keep disturbing you while they leave or go for hand wash. Parking isn’t a problem as you have parking outside on the road and have to pay 20Rs. Would recommend to try the local menu. Japan chicken wasn’t that great for the hype.

It's over crowded even in weekdays, yeah the taste is good and obviously people Comes for Japan chicken which is full creamy. If any one is diet conscious shouldn't try. I ordered crab soup which cost 40ruppes and kola urundai mutton and chicken which cost 40 for chicken and 50 for mutton. Worth it seriously. 👌 tried there authentic rice which was okay only. . Getting one can be eaten by two persons. Rice, Japan chicken n all saying. Sufficient for two person.

Very cheap, very tasty....if you can do with the low end ambience Prices here are unbelievably low while the taste of the food is great. Though the ambience specially the restroom could be far better, but for such a price who am I to complain. Authentic and tasty non-vegetarian food. One time visit for sure

Nice atmosphere ans delicious food but restaurant needs to take care of entrance as well since many months debris there at waiting place. We ordered lappa parotta, chicken parotta, mutton chukka, Japan chicken, fish fingers, mutton biryani. Out of these Japan chicken is different as taste wise it's sweet. Quantity is not good but they have maintained the taste. Mutton biryani, kozhi rasam, lappa parotta must try.

Fabulous banana leaf meal, chicken briyani. The chicken rasam is out of this world, it's a must-have dish, and their choice of side dishes like Japanese chicken, prawn black pepper and payasam are super mouth watering . Please come early to enjoy their super delicious meal.. we had a great time as a family.

I would personally rate this as one of the top three restaurants for authentic Tamil food in Chennai. Every single dish was delicious. Mutton biriyani and Parotta salana was amazing
