This was my worst πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Žroom experience ever..... Please don't come here.....the room is totally different from the room shown in picture.....They were unable to keep the room clean..... Actually we came to the hotel at 12am in the early morning...... They started to sweep when we were in...... No one to pick our bags...... No water bottle provided, no towel, flush was not working. No a/c....room was full of cockroaches....Very rudeπŸ‘ΏπŸ‘Ώ behavior..... We told them about this unusual room..... They told that you may leave the room, actually it was 1am then.

I was told only non-ac is available but will be given an additional Pedestal fan in the room. Once I paid and Checked in, the told me the Pedestal fan is not available. Sockets in the rooms do not work. Requested for an Iron box, but a hotel so many rooms has no Iron box which is a basic amenity. Rooms are spacious and we'll lit but one of the windows did not have curtains. Bathroom is clean, neat and spacious. Decent stay experience.... Very very close to the temple Too many mosquitoes in the restaurant while having breakfast

The hotel is next door to the famous Chidambaram temple & that in many ways is the best aspect of this place. Good parking area, reasonably priced & comfortable room. Nothing much of fuss but you get value for your money. The hotel also offers a simple breakfast.

First of all the hotel deneyed saying that the picture and the details given in the agoda website about the hotel was wrong.. they said there is no sofa room. I had called up Agoda and checked and then they showed a room with sofa... The AC did not work and they couldn't rectify the issues even after multiple complaints, and they are offering us to change the room again... The bathroom closets were broken and the room was not well maintained... There was a man in the front office who was very rude though acted to speak soft.. without asking the children age , he was just saying the extra bed cost.... There is no resturant and they brought food from outside which will be served as complementary breakfast only when asked. For any service you have to call them n number of times. Agoda prices are high compared to direct hotel booking tariff and which is not worth it..I will never recommend this hotel for any good family... May be the hotel owner or anyone from the hotel side can oppose to my comments... But I challenge anyone can feel true of my comments when you stay there... And infact many guests who stayed there had the AC not working issues and they were patching up with same stories... That's the reason most of the rooms were unbooked on such a muhurtham day and it was our last minute go...

We occupied two executive standard rooms. There is simply no cleanliness in the room and the bathroom. The mattresses were of bad quality. No hot water in the bathroom. TV and the diffuser in the bathroom were not working. No ventilation in the bathroom. Breakfast was cold and terrible. Only redeeming feature is its location; very near the Eastern Gopuram.

Worst experience. They promised Wifi. But No wifi, when I did complain, they asked me to come to ground floor reception (where wifi was available) and connected. But still no wifi in first floor (my room). AC was flawed, when complained no response TV was present, but subscription expired. After multiple calls, they paid for subscription. Kept mineral water (but it is ordinary water). Good points: Parking space + proximity to temple.

The location is close to the temple but no grand features. Toilet pipes are leaking after flushing. Tariff is high for the services rendered. They asked my I’d for check in! Is it not the responsibility of the receptionist to return it after copying? I forgot and checked out next day. When we check in a new place we have multiple challenges luggages new place and environment It is likely to miss things But the reception is trained in these things and he must return all docs to the guest. Though I got it collected through my friend they lack in reception formalities They offered me to return the id by courier at their own expenses Thx for the same. I got it collected through my friend. You need to improve

Rooms are okay for a stay of one day or so. But there is no restaurant attached, as claimed by hotel. If you are lucky, you may get hot water. That too only in the morning. Choose this hotel ONLY for Location, proximity to temple. Do not expect anything more. Complementary breakfast is so so.

In the so called AC room. AC was not working at all. Mosquitoes in room and blankets were old and smelly. No toiletries provided. Above all that. The staffs were rude and didn't care to address the issues even after complaining several times. Only good thing was the proximity of the hotel to the temple. Book at your own risk. We paid β‚Ή3000 for each room. Which was a total waste for this kind of service. The service of the staff and the way they answered were rude and unethical.

The biggest advantage of this place is its proximity to the temple. Its just 5 minutes walk from the east gopuram of the temple. But the amenities are definitely not worth the charges. The room was large enough for two people, the toilet works, and so does the a/c. But you don't always get hot water, nor does the a/c remote work. We didn't check the TV. There is just a single socket in the whole room in case you are trying to recharge your device.. The service is BAD. We did not get drinking water after the first two bottles we received while checking in. On the second day, despite repeatedly asking, they did not give. Finally, we made our way in the dark, past sleeping staff, to fill our bottles! There was no doormat, so we were forced to walk into the room on wet feet, which meant the room got dirty and wet. We requested them to provide a doormat throughout our stay, but no luck! The staff was barely polite, and totally unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The only thing they did promptly was collecting the second day's room rent.

Bad room quality, bad service, impolite staff, and zero cleanliness. They are manipulating people under the name of a 3 star facilities, general dorms would provide better service compared to them. Really worst experience of the lifetime, staff doesn't even respect the customers, who are the source of their income. Zero recommendation to any of my friends or relatives at this place. The only grandness they have is in the name of the property. Giving 1 star is also not worth the service. Google should provide options to rate even lower for such cases. πŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘ŽπŸ‘Ž

Rooms are not clean, fully dust in all places, break fast is ok. Not worth the money, season time fully rush for this hotel.

Really very very worst service. I have wait more than 30 minutes for the room booking for my friend,Even I am local boy. They don't care about the customers and there needs. Another customer shouted in front of me because of room booking process delay and not giving proper response for room rent while I am going to book room. Only thing it's near to temple that's it. Expect that all very very very worst.

Good Hotel to stay. Just 50mts from Lord Nataraja Temple. Rooms are spacious, but need to focus on Breakfast

Don't be fooled by the name of the hotel, only the name is grand. A so called three star hotel doesn't even have running hot water. Pathetic. There was a huge window by the bed which is completely open without any grill or safety and the best part is the window doesn't even have a lock ,like literally anyone can barge inside the room. Complimentary breakfast will be provided in a Scary looking dining place with no lights or ac so be prepared. On the whole, a complete waste paying 2.7k for these "3 star" room. Please find somewhere else to stay.

Sufficient for a couple to stay. Too cramped if u put an extra bed. Very nearer to the Chidambaram temple. opposite u can have a sumptuous meal in Krishna villas. Too good a hotel to have a perfect veg food with a very good service.

Worst rooms, water leakage from the ceiling because of this mobile and smart watch spoiled. The manager simply says not aware about the room situations, without knowing about the rooms he is managing and simply charges 3600 for this room, not sure what he is managing. At night while sleeping I placed my mobile and smartwatch at the mirror desk /platform, morning when we woke up water on these. The manager & supervisor simply says if we inform you that we would have changed room, midnight who will expect that water leakage

Restrooms worst in suite room, water fully coming out from toilet to open place. which i paid 3600 per night. No tooth paste or brush given. One water bottle for 2 persons. Too costly for less service. My vote will not come to this hotel again as costly.

  • 1/5 Patibandla K. 1 year ago on Google
Only for a terrible experience for your family. You may wanna read this whole, before you book this place. We have booked 2 rooms for Saturday night, they charged 3600 for each. First up, the rooms are no way near clean and we have to call for all basic needs like water, toiletries, towel. The so called suite rooms has an AC which is barely working, TV is not working even when we called they did not bothered. The restaurant is even worse with full of mosquitos if we eat there we will definitely get food poisoned, And moreover they demanded to pay the cost immediately before getting settled, Iam very disappointed and in total we have paid 7200, for no reason, don't stay in this hotel it's better to stay on Road no difference. You know where to stay now! Thanks for ruining our holiday πŸ™Œ

Hotel Rooms are neatly maintained... good room service...If the time is not 12 to 12 ...the hotel will get more recommendations.... moreover the management should take much care in food (Restaurant) ... Very Worst in taste and quantity.... specifically the restaurant not at all recommended...

Extremely bad maintenance. This is not at all a good hotel. They do horrible maintenance. Neither the hotel is good, nor the bed is good. Cleanliness wise, this is one of the worst maintained hotels in a holi pilgrimage.

Excellent location, clean rooms. I took a standard room and it served my purpose very well. Very good staff, providing good room service. I will definitely recommend this to pilgrims visiting Thilla Natarajar, and I will stay here in future trips myself. Update-just noticed previous reviews. Guess this time most renovation is done and so I got a renovated room.

Grand park is NOT a three star hotel. There are too many mosquitoes in the room as well as common areas. Breakfast service was quite poor and the eating area is very unhygienic. The biggest pro of the hotel is it’s close proximity to the temple. So if you stay here, bring mosquito repellents and avoid eating in this hotel. There are good restaurants across the road. I would suggest eating in any of those.

The hotel charges you a bomb but what they offer is minimal. To start with, I paid 3300 for a regular ac room which was spacious but extremely old and rustic interiors. The mirror was broken. The beds and doors were very old and had their laminations broken or cracked. The space around the rooms were also untidy with lot of garbage all around. Their plus was their parking which was also loaded with stuff which they are using for their renovation. I wouldn’t mind this experience had I paid only 1500. But paying 3300 rupees I expect a good stay. Either cut down the price or offer clean and good experience. The complimentary breakfast here was decent but nothing beyond that. There are plenty of good hotels nearby for food. Their location is certainly a plus as they are just metres away from the east tower of the temple. I wouldn’t consider visiting this place again. Please consider other options.

Worst experience ever . Bad smell and mosquito inside rooms . AC was not working. Cot was not proper . Suit rooms are even worst . Manager mr Faisa was very rude . No luggage check in . At night 12 o clk they were asking us to cancel the booking . I don't refer anyone for this hotel

This hotel looks decent and when it comes to service, there’s no hot water in the shower, there’s no water bottles in the room, the TV remote controls don’t work, the quilt doesn’t have a cover, no plates in the room. If you book this hotel just for a sleepover must be okay but what they charge for doesn’t match the service they provide.

Worst hotel for following reasons, highly expensive, no value for money, run by unprofessional, not service oriented, no basic room amenities like water, toiletries, towel, unfinished workmanship, landline not working. After reporting also no change in attitude.

We are a Travel agent and suggested your Hotel to one of our clients. Kindly note there feedback was very bad and they were very upset. They said the rest room door had no lock and also there was a blockage. No breakfast was served and also the service of staffs was very bad.

The room looks neat and clean. The working methodology of the taps in the bathroom were initially difficult to figure out. You have to turn left and pull the handle up for hot water. Similarly, for cold water turn the handle left. There were no bedsheets or soaps, etc. in the bathroom. There were no water bottles. The AC control was strange without a remote. There is a card based locking system where to unlock you have to scan the card. There's a good restaurant opposite this hotel called Amirthas. Car parking is underground and was not spacious enough.

Location is near to nataraja temple Parking is good where 10-15 cars can be parked Breakfast (complimentary) has limited variety but tasty Rooms are not maintained properly Service is horrible AC was not working properly I stayed for 2 days and complained 5 timest about AC. Not even once they responded/took action Bed cloth was dirty Asked for blanket and after 4 follow ups I got it During the 3rd follow up for blanket, the reception incharge asked me to remind him after one hour by calling the reception landline number Reason - intercom in my room was not working The mirror in the bathroom will show us like ghost Reason - mirror is without mercury I booked 2 days stay through online portal and paid the amount upfront However on my 2nd day's stay while I was away having darshan at a temple, the hotel called and informed that my checkout time is over and I had to vacate The reason according to them is I had booked only 1 day stay They were not ready to listen to me over the phone when I said I had booked for 2 days I had to rush back to the hotel which is 20 kms away and explain the person in reception that I had booked for 2 days. Finally I was able to make him understand. According to them this is a slight misunderstanding from their end The manager present there was not interested in resolving the issue Interiors are damaged/not maintained properly (shared some photos) I saw one customer shouting at them for their room/service while I checked in Same I saw one person complaining about them while I was checking out There is a board which is kept in reception that how they care/make a difference in caring for their customers Only customers like me who had unpleasant experience can understand the real meaning behind that
