It consists only remains of ancient Buddist stupas etc. Most of them are in britan and in AP they are located at Muesuems at Amaravati.

I do t know what others rated it, but I am giving it 5 stars . It was going to be an international museum from 18th may 2017. It's bottom floor has coins of ikshwaku, satakarni, etc. It's top floor and bottom floor and compound has statues from 3rd century BC to 19th century AD. It's top floor has many paintings which were painted by professional painters like Thai Chug of 3rd century BC and also has modern art paintings. Archaeology Museum. Buddhist culture and Heritage can be memorised here. I wish every school must take their children,students to this museum to understand the importance of their history, culture,heritage. I will take my children with a better camera next time. 3 rupees is entrance ticket. 20 rupees camera fees.

Museum buildings are not good and need to be renovated. Apart from this, the museum had several ancient Buddhist relics and Hindu monuments.

Place to know the history

Very unfriendly workers arrogant replying and only few statues to see ,no entry inside and only open for 10 minutes,the said to leave after 10 minutes
