My visit to the hospital left me extremely dissatisfied due to the excessive charges and misleading information provided by the staff. First and foremost, I was shocked to discover that the hospital had charged me significantly more than what was initially communicated to me. When I arrived, I clearly asked about the estimated costs and was provided with a figure that I found reasonable. However, upon receiving the final bill, I noticed a considerable increase, with no explanation or justification given. It was distressing to realize that I had been misled, and this experience has left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of. Moreover, the lack of transparency throughout the process added to my frustration. The staff failed to communicate the additional charges or inform me of any changes in the initial cost estimate. It is utterly disappointing to see such a disregard for honest and open communication with patients, who rely on accurate information to make informed decisions about their healthcare. This level of unprofessionalism and apathy towards patients' concerns is simply unacceptable. In conclusion, my experience at S M Hospital was marred by the misleading information provided and the exorbitant charges that exceeded the initially stated amount. The lack of transparency and unsatisfactory customer service only compounded my dissatisfaction. I strongly advise potential patients to exercise caution when considering this hospital, as my encounter reflects a concerning lack of integrity and respect for patients' rights.

The hospital seemed to have inflated prices for even the most basic procedures, making healthcare inaccessible for those who are financially less privileged. It was disheartening to witness such a blatant disregard for the affordability of medical care. Furthermore, the quality of service at S.M. Hospital was subpar. The staff appeared disinterested and lacked empathy towards patients. I encountered several instances where the nursing staff seemed more focused on administrative tasks rather than attending to the needs of patients. This negligence and lack of personalized care left me feeling neglected and unsupported during my time at the hospital. Another issue I faced was the excessive waiting times. Despite having an appointment, I was made to wait for hours before receiving any medical attention. This not only caused inconvenience but also negatively impacted the overall experience and quality of care. Overall, my visit to S.M. Hospital in Ooty left a bitter taste in my mouth. The hospital's money-minded approach, exorbitant prices, lackluster service, and long waiting times were disheartening. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone seeking quality and affordable healthcare. It is crucial to prioritize patient well-being and compassion over profit margins, and sadly, S.M. Hospital failed to meet these expectations.

My sister was admitted in SM hospital and the doctors were so friendly. Sister. Sangeetha, Sister. Pavithra, Sister. Lakshmi were too friendly and they took too much care and they explained our doubts very kindly thank you for everyone

Today..i went to sm hospital for common cold...when they asked 250rs for consultation,i felt ok for the new managent. They kept a nebulizer for 100 rs,then they charged for the tube and the medicine they used around 400rs..(they gave me back the tube...i don't know what to do with that)i think,the mechine is not functioning properly,i did not feel any fumigation with the nebulizer.. Altogether including medicine, consultation,, , nebulizer..i paid rs 1100.. for the common cold.. They asked me to buy and give all the medicine s they used for nebulizer that includes2 sets of hand gloves..nobody used it for me.. Management is changed,but the attitude of taking money from the common person suffering sickness is not changed.. I wish to bring out few more point's for your consideration.. 1)it is un ethical to do an procedure, without informing the cost to the patient. Neb.mask 275+extra medicine s u charged ,claiming u have used in the nebulizer+100 rs for the procedure. Around 450rs...I am totally unaware. What makes me so frustrated is the mechine did not function properly,that did not solve any purpose of mine. 2)2sets of gloves u have charged rs.48..i did not see any body using it,on my behalf.according to your reply Gloves has been charged only for the covid rules. Kindly do not take advantage of poor and Innocent people,who are sick and coming to you for the remedy.

Had a good experience in the Hospital . My wife was admitted in the here and I should gratefully admire the work that insurance department has done. Especially Vidya who is in-charge of the insurance , she had helped a lot through out to make the process as easy as possible.

Had a very bad experience with this hospital. They kind of ambience and hospitality given there is worst. No professionalism. You can't expect any kind of transperancy or proper information from the staff or the doctor or surgeon. Finally they will try to quote more. Finally when you are aware of what is happening they will flood you with too much of fake information, which in turn will look like safe way to squindel money and will use all sorts of strategies to make you a fool. Especially the surgeon is totally money minded and we never had such a bad experience as we had in this hospital.

It has been a healthy and good treatment at SM Hospital. Cleanliness & hygiene care was utmost. High professional standards from Nursing to support staffs. It’s a relief finding a doctor who is so approachable and available to being contacted.

The services that I receive from SM NBS Health Care is excellent. Dr. Santhosh and the staff are friendly and ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. I highly recommend this hospital to anyone for its wonderful service and warm experience from start to finish.

Thank you for all the doctors and staff who attended my son. My son was suffering from food poisoning and was vomiting continuously. The doctor immediately recommended few injections which helped a lot for my son to recover very fast. Everyone in the hospital was kind and courteous.

I Request INDIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION to take some action on Mr.Balasubramaniam and his BS Hospital.Due to his Negligence, irrelavant treatment i lost my mom last week.I and my family posted the experience in google review but he is very much active in google deleting those comments , I bet him to prove himself what he did was right but he deleted all the comments. SM hospital you are always the best with well experienced doctor, this single star is for Mr.Balasubramaniam and his BS Hospital.Sorry for posting it here since he is deleting all google comments, SM hospital pls do help Nilgiri people by taking this to the notice of AIIMS and save Nilgiri People.

Really helpful for unknown persons or the travellers who get suddenly sick or any health issue. The another best best thing was that the provided with a very good nurse service with the doctors there good at explanation also really we thank them.
