Beautiful place But you need to get the assistance of local people to reach the view points..these points aren't easily identifiable Time you visit is very important sunset or the sunrise is mostly beautiful and it makes this place worthy This place is actually lying in kerala karnataka border .to reach kalanki town is simple.. And journey towards top. Reaching top you could ask the people who live nearby to lead you to the points.. My first visit to this place was also interesting one. People there, are Gud ones. Be safe. Continue travelling...

Open throughout the year hasn't been restricted by any government authorities. One view point on the top right side (very much accessible by all kinds of cars & two wheelers - parking small space available) then there's the top station mostly not accessible by four-wheelers, two wheelers - yes 15 mis walk . The road is very much climbing (steep). No nearby settlements and shops , carry water and snacks (plz don't liter ) . Not yet disturbed ❤️ Similar to kanjirakolli - sasipara . Suggestion - visit early morning - sunrise 🌄

Beautiful place, but there is no proper entry and exit point, so to find the entry point is little difficult. To reach Kalanki, you have to travel 2 km off-road (you can ride with your bike), after you have to walk about 10 mins thought the forest, then you can see the view point. You don't need any tickets to enter top. The place was very neet and clean so please don't put any plastic bags or bottles there. Try to carry water cause I couldn't find any shop near by it. Unlike other tourist spots it was not crowded, we went there in weekend then also there was no other people, good tourist spot, enjoy traveling 👍.

Hai guys it's an awesome place. it's really the queen of hills and very nice place for tent camping There are around 5 view points to enjoy the feel of nature Forests are the part of karnataka We enjoyed an off road ride around 2km to there Guys please note this please don't throw any waste here it's a highly non polluted area The only main problem here was there are 3 or more stone mining points working here it is dangerous for this hills

Good place for offroad bikers. The view from the points are similar to that of paithalmala, kanjirakolli etc. If you want to enjoy the view, adjust the visiting time between 10am -4 pm mornings and evenings are foggy. There are stone crushers nearby you can enjoy the view of that also. Always keep water and food with you. 😀

There is a small off-road place to ride on bike or people may walk. It's lil adventures based on climate. After reaching the top there is a splendid view on Kerala- Karnataka border. Enjoying the fig to fade and clearing the vast beautiful forest down with songs of birds and animals is so satisfying. The rising sun through the clouds and mountain rises up goosebumps with cold winds✨🌱. Its free of cost to enter It was a really beautiful experience.

The place is enriched with verities of Flora and Fauna. You can see the mountains covered in fogs in most of the time. Along with the best sunrise and sunset, Kalanki also offers a best view of Kannur International Airport and Iritty riiver from a long distance. From Karnataka, the route is via Koottupuzha, Kolithattu and Aanakuzhi. One can reach Kalanki from Kannur via Iritty, Ulikkal and Mattara which is around 58 km.

Not as expected... I have gone in car so I have to park my car and walk almost 2 - 2.5 km. It is like we park the car on top of the peak and we were walking down. This place is a quarry we can hear mining sound while walking. The people there is so friendly and helpful. It is cold place. We reached there at 7:30am.
