I
wanted
to
give
myself
at
least
3
weeks
after
leaving
this
wonderful
healing
sanctuary
before
writing
this
review.
The
idea
was
to
get
carried
away
by
the
initial
euphoria
and
infuse
some
objectivity
in
this
review.
The
founders
have
created
a
beautiful
eco-system
in
rural
(countryside)
Coimbatore.
Incidentally,
they
celebrated
their
20th
anniversary
2
days
ago!
I'd
describe
the
core
campus
as
a
sacred
grove
within
which
they
have
built
an
excellently
planned,
self
contained
care
delivery
system
consisting
of:
1.
Sanctum
Sanctorum
-
aptly
named
Bhrahma
Kamalam
where
the
morning
and
evening
recitations/chants/poojas
and
afternoon
Yoga
Nidra
are
scheduled
2.
Seminar
Hall
+
Library
-
named
Mandapam
-
venue
for
Staff
training,
Satsang
and
even
the
weekly
group
lunch
3.
Office
Blocks
-
named
Vaidyalayam
4.
Pharmacy
-
named
Oushadalayam
5.
Laundry
Room
-
could
have
been
called
Rajkaapanam
6.
Kitchen
-
could've
been
called
Paakshalam
7.
Patient
Quads
-
called
Illam
-
an
interesting
structure
with
four
simple
yet
elegant
patient
suites
attached
to
a
resident
doctor's
station,
a
compounder's
room
(replete
with
a
druid's
cauldron)
and
two
treatment
rooms
While
the
founding
vaidyas
may
have
visioned
and
created
this
campus
that
includes
their
own
temple
(dedicated
to
Lord
Dhanvantari),
vegetable
farms,
staff
quarters,
cow-shed
(Gaushala)
and
that
has
grown
to
include
another
set
of
quads...the
real
experience
is
delivered
by
the
dedicated
staff,
both:
A.
visible
-
like
the
security,
front
office,
horticulture,
house-keeping,
therapists,
food
delivery
(you
eat
all
your
meals
in
your
room),
etc.
B.
Invisible:
Cooks,
Cleaners,
Clerks,
et
al
Their
indulgence,
warmth
and
care
was
only
surpassed
my
"dream-team"
led
by
Vaidya
Ramanandan
that
included
Vaidya
Sreeji,
Vaidya
Dhanyasri,
Therapist
Santhosh,
Therapist,
Jaybhim,
Hunnymon,
who
were
always
within
hailing
distance
to
attend
to
my
issues,
questions
and
phobias.
May
God
bless
them
so
that
continue
to
heal
many
more!
NOTE:
A.
You
have
to
be
patient
with
their
response
times:
-
My
case
fell
thru
the
cracks
of
Ms
A's
calendar
for
three
days
after
my
advance
payment.
Had
to
rattle
their
cages
before
Ms
S
picked
up
the
ball
and
ran
-
Pharmacy
needed
3
days
to
courier
items
to
the
capital
of
Kerala
(370km
away)
B.
You
have
to
read
all
the
literature
before
leaving
home
and
ask
a
lot
of
questions
upfront.
I
wish
I
had
known
that:
-
it
is
ill-advised
to
drive
or
fly
long
distance
for
two
weeks
after
the
treatment.
-
there
are
three
parts
to
the
stay
-
Prep,
Treatment,
Recovery
-
and
for
my
typical
condition-constitution
set,
they'd
require
one
week
for
each
stage.
So,
even
if
I'd
initially
planned
and
booked
to
stay
for
2
weeks,
I
should
have
budgeted
some
slack
at
the
end
of
2
weeks
to
stay
back
longer.
-
no
tea
or
coffee
might
cause
withdrawal
symptoms
in
some
patients-
I
had
severe
headaches
for
the
first
two
days
