This place has ample parking space. You can stop here for a quick snack or a full meal. Located at very good spot. Taste wise it's good, I wouldn't say awesome. Not too costly. Ambiance and aroma is very good. Try it once, you may like it. Thanks.

The food is tasty, but very expensive. Had 2 meals and a lime soda, this costed me Rs 400. The place is very neat and clean. The service could be improved since first one person took my order and then other person came and clarified and confirmed few things about the drink.

Very very neat and comfortable family restaurant with A/C, nice,quality and very tasty tiffin, lunch and dinner. Enjoyed eating very nice CURD VADA AND TEA with my BOSS and Wellwishers.

Located on the way from Ooty to coimbatore. So glad we found exactly what we were looking for. A place that not only servers typical south Indian delicacies and continental food but also a fusion of both. Everything we ordered was yumm. Service is also really good.

We visited this restaurant when going to Ooty from coimbatore just for refresh break but we ended up having a South Indian meal. The South Indian meal was unlimited thali with variety of veg dishes with rice and chapti. The food was very good in taste, fresh and the service was amazing. Definitely recommend this place for good food and friendly staff.

Parking: ample parking right in front of the restaurant. Toilets: Toilets are well maintained and are in a building right next to the restaurant. Food: Quality was quite good and reasonably priced. Service was prompt and staff was quite polite. Very satisfied the experience. Recommended.

The tastiest veg restaurant in this surroundings. One gets a lot of verities of Veg food, ice cream and juices. If you are on the way too ooty or returning don’t forget to Pit stop or hangout here .

Cafe Udupi Ruchi - This restaurant is on the highway connecting Coimbatore and Mettupalayam. The vehicles which are destined for Ooty, often take a stop here. It has a huge parking space. The restaurant is styled like American Diners. One storey building with sofas like sitting spaces and small tables. The restaurant is pure vegetarian. There are several South Indian and North Indian Dishes. The waiters and waitresses are very attentive. The only con is that it takes time to prepare some dishes. Sambar Rice, Curd Rice and other staple South Indian dishes are ready (because they are prepared in bulk), but not so is the case for North Indian Dishes. Fulka (North Indian Roti) takes a lot of time, at least 10 minutes, to get ready. They will serve in steel square plates. They serve hot water too. The dishes they made are tasty no doubt. There are milk shakes and juices available too. But, the menu card is of no use as not every item will be available everyday, so make sure to communicate with the waiters and waitresses. The cost is reasonable. If you are purely vegetarian, you can attend. If you have no hurry to reach Ooty in a certain time limit, you can order North Indian Dishes here.

One of the finest hotels present at outskirts of the city.Ample space for parking.Well maintained and clean.Food is of top notch and justifies the cost.Must visit spot for all travelers via Coimbatore-Ooty.

Best restaurant on the way to mettupalayam-Ooty. I tried many other Udupi Ruchi restaurants at Kongu region and in Karnataka but none of them impressed or tasted good like this Mathampalayam Udupi Ruchi restaurant. They have different varieties of food from traditional to latest cheese based western food items. My personal choice is fried idly, Podi dosa, double cheese sandwich, Garlic bread and Methuvadai. Weekends, holidays and summer seasons this place is crowded. Car parking available in front of the restaurant and restrooms situated at backside. Hygienic and clean place.

Looks clean but flies were inside. Had two meals and three nooddles. Taste was average. Sevice was good. Sufficient parking space.

Dishes are variety and different. Taste are good. Very good ambience. Decent with quite big parking place. Prices are bit costly.

Pretty good place in the area. Waiters are courteous, food was good. We had breakfast and also had lunch while coming back. Both were excellent.

Delicious food... Irani Chai, mini fried podi masala idli, cheese Dosa & porappu podi masala Dosa. We have had our breakfast here when going to Ooty & we loved the food so much that's why we stayed here for bf while returning also.

Neat, clean, Well maintained cafe serving tasty dishes.. very good ambience.. Irani chai, onion pakoda, guntur idli, spl ghee podi masal dosa, fried podi idli are few top picks of the lot. adequate parking facility.. Sunday drive-in parcel only due to current covid lockdown restrictions.

Visited while travelling to cbe..ambience is good..trying the Irani chai which is nice..the chat platter was very small portions ..the ordered juice was so costly ..dint expect that..many tiffin options also were available..the hotel is neat and clean..snacks and sweets plenty are der.we tried some jamuns ..they were tastier. can try once if u don't mind the cost

Good place to stop. As a traveller nothing better than neat and clean. Good food also, we ordered meals, fried rice and paneer butter masala. All were good. Ample space for parking

This restaurant located on the Cbe to Mettupalayam highway is a good place to have tea and snacks if you are en route to Ooty. Their Irani Tea is one of the best and a must try. Sandwich was good and fried rice was okayish.

Taste and service is ok, but they are missing a few hygiene things, first thing no leaf for plates serving without out leaf even if we request they simply said no leaf facility. We don't know the washing quality it's really bad.
