Excellent home style Breakfast. Their Biscuits and Gravy is one of the best I’ve ever had. Very reasonable prices and super friendly staff.

Decided to try out a local diner, and found this place. Took my family, and got to enjoy a good breakfast! I would say this is a solid mid-level breakfast spot. If you're looking for super fancy attention to menu details, or homemade specialty items or dressings, this is not THAT place. If you just want a good cup of coffee and a tasty meal that's not gonna break your pockets, they got you. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Bacon Apple Fritter Sandwich(which is exactly what it sounds like chicken, bacon, and cheese between two slices of a fried apple fritter), my family ordered the chicken fried steak, and also the two and two breakfast, and a cinnamon roll. I got coffee as well. The coffee was decent, not the strongest, but not super weak. It was a little bit of a wait between ordering our food, and getting everything; however, I noticed that most of our wait staff was older folk. I don't know if that's always the case, but noticing that, I decided to be very patient. (And if that is the usual staff, and you complain about the delay, shame on you. Respect your elders.)The food was delicious! I was a little leery of the apple fritter sandwich, but it was crispy and bacon cheesy with just a touch of sweet from the fritter bread! Really effin good, and I highly recommend trying it if you like sweet hot crispy flavor! The regular breakfast items were well done and pretty standard, bacon, eggs, etc. Nothing exceptional, but nothing terrible. The country fried steak was crispy and good, and covered in a good amount of gravy. We had American fries (the chunky fried potato bites type), and they could have been a lil bit crispier, but they were cooked well and yummy. Oh, yeah, we had french toast too, and that was buttered and syrupy and good too! Nothing exceptional (like compote, or homemade syrup, or anything like that) but a solid good french toast! Overall, I feel like this was a decent local breakfast joint with solid food. The prices weren't crazy, and the food was decent. The staff was nice enough, and the place was Minnesotan Cabin style decor(Cabin-chic, if you will), and clean. If you want a good mid level breakfast experience, I recommend it! I have plans to go back and try the Bagel Burger, and perhaps the bacon and cream cheese omelette! Enjoy!❤️

12-30-2022 First time back in about nine years. Last time really good. This time even better. Wow! Very busy for breakfast at ten. We got the last table for two. Great service Great coffee Great Country fried steak. Very tender top sirloin. Eggs Benny, eggs perfectly done. Very reasonable prices Will not wait nine years for our next visit.

Tasty food. Good prices. Friendly service. We enjoyed breakfast on Sunday and beat the rush by getting there at 9. Servers did a great job keeping our coffee cups full. Omelettes were generously filled and hash browns were worth the extra buck. We will definitely be back again.

A real fun spot. Drove down from Duluth just to have lunch with a friend. The staff was upbeat and friendly. The entire atmosphere was great. The food was top notch and prices were standard.

It was okay. I got a reuben but they didn't inform us they were out of pumpernickel or sourdough bread so automatically subbed it for a whole wheat which, just was okay. I would of got something else had they told me. The fries were okay. They also charge 4% for card usage, but they don't tell you nor is there anywhere stating so, at least that I saw. Honestly it was okay, but not good enough for us to rush back to.

We waited over 30 minutes for our food with absolutely zero communication from our waitress Karen. When the food arrived the portions were small and the quality low. The stuffed French toast was bland and lacking substance despite being 12 dollars for what was basically two slices of generic white bread, eggs, and frozen sausage pattys. You can tell there is no communication between FOH and BOH and the service is clearly suffering due to this. Servers.. please communicate with your cooks and your tables!! I have served for over a decade and a little communication goes a long way. Take accountability if mistakes are made. People are fairly gracious. Hiding from customers is not the answer.

Denny’s quality or lower. Very disappointing for a Mom&Pop. The omelette was paper thin, tasted like they used frozen vegetables. The potatoes were microwaved. Definitely not a place I’d recommend to family or friends

I wanted to love it! I really did. I was so excited to try this place! I ordered a Benedict and OJ. It was just me, so not a big, complicated order. After waiting for my food for over 30 minutes I was ready to walk, I flagged the server down and she said it would be right up, so I waited. For another 10 minutes. When the food came, and I cut into it, the egg whites were still raw (clear and slippery like snot) and there is no way I'm waiting 40 minutes to get salmonella from raw eggs. So I walked. I could probably get over the long wait , but I'm sorry, when there is an imminent food poisoning risk, that's a hard no from me. I'm sure most people have a better experience than I did, but you are going to hurt somebody if you do that again. Please learn from this. I wish you all the best

Definitely a place for the locals!! Food was good, like most little cafes. But leave the attitude at home. I went there because of "Restaurant. Com" come to find out owner doesn't accept their certificates and said note posted at the door. Well let's be a little more professional with our note writing, my kids write better. Also if people spend the money on R.C and you don't wanna be part of it then call the phone# listed and get off their list. Don't waste paying customers time by not honoring their certificate because you can't get off the list. Take the time and figure it out. Probably would've never even tried the place otherwise. To many great little cafes out there with good attitudes towards new customers!! Word of mouth people!😊

Very clean inside and friendly staff. One star off for charging extra fee for using credit card. Chips were old and tenderloin was bland. Website has daily food specials listed but when I asked was told they have no specials.

They have great breakfast food. I particularly like their hash browns. They are crispy but not burnt or greasy. The servers are quick with coffee refills, too. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are good sized.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. The server took orders from two other parties that came in after we did before they took our order Normally I don't have an issue with service - especially when it's busy, but we didn't even get a "we'll be right with you" or any kind of acknowledgment that they knew we were there. Food was ok, even though my eggs were overcooked in the Eggs Benedict. I'm in zero rush to go back there.

Went here for my brother's birthday. When I asked everyone said they had a great time. The food was great, really no wait (in the down and order food 'no wait') and we enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff/ servers were great.

Best breakfast ever, worth the wait! We had a skillet and the favorite benny - both were amazing! The bloodies were good too, and strong!! 🥴

This is the best place for breakfast/brunch in the area, by FAR! The food isn't fancy, but it's tasty and has a homemade type feel. The bartenders pour a generous mimosa, and the service is great. Highly recommend.

Great prices! Delicious food! Amazing service. A place you're gonna want to come to on Sundays to grab one of their delicious wgg skillets. I had the Stuffed french toast and would highly recommend it: Your choice of a sausage patty or a large piece of ham topped with Swiss Cheese thrown between two pieces of french toast and drizzled with syrup..... Yeah. It's amazing. I went to the Lil Bar side so I had a spicy bloody mary that came with olives and a pickle spear.

Actually, after today's attempt to eat there, 1 star is too much. Arrived for breakfast for 2 about 10:30, got a table with waters and menus.....and nothing else for 30 minutes. No eye contact from the wait staff, one actually held up her palm to us as she was walking by, and nothing. We like to try to support the local shops, but this was ridiculous. Tried to wave down a server, but was ignored. Great food from past experiences, but will never go back there again.

Went for lunch. Service came immediately and polite. Lunch came within 8 minutes. Fantastic food. I had a tuna melt on pumpernickel bread, with fries. I was there about 11:55am. And out by 12:25pm.

Was very excited to try this place out but was met with disappointment. We came here on a Sunday before noon and there was a line out the door. However since it was just two of us, we were able to get seated quickly. Once seated we were probably sitting down for about 15 minutes before our server greeted us after she had walked by probably a dozen times. We placed our orders right away since we had plenty of time to look at the menu. We waited for our food for 45 minutes. The kitchen was very slow and our server never came by to see if we needed anything or let us know what was going on. While waiting we saw several tables get up and walk out because their orders were taking forever. We decided to wait and when we got our food the portions were very small. I would like to try again because I thought the omelet was good and maybe we just came on an off day.

I’ve been dining alone, getting to know me. Took a chance and tried a new spot! Breakfast 🥞 was good (no elements or surprises) 😂 those who know me know. Waitress at the bar was really kind and on point. If you’re in the area I truly recommend swinging by … thank you folks for a great experience.

The food was okay, but the wait time with our waitress was beyond ridiculous. I'm perfectly fine with a more lax environment, but we waited 30 minutes to have our order taken while watching tables that were sat after us have their orders taken while our waitress kept walking by us repeatedly, even with trying to get her attention. When our waitress FINALLY asked if we were waiting for more people (even though our table was full minus one chair), and we informed her we've been waiting to order, she was less than apologetic. The quality of food was the only reason this got one one star; we were very close to walking out after being blatantly ignored for so long. HOWEVER, the guy going around in the santa hat collecting dishes was the nicest person we encountered during the visit--- he definitely deserves a raise.

It's a cute little diner. I took my mom there. We both had ham and cheese omelettes. They were good. They had a lot of ham.

Played at the open mic at the bar. Really fun. I didnt try the food but it looked great. A very fun joint. GREAT PRICES. Ill be returning to try the food soon.

Definitely get the bang for your buck here. Took a while ti get our food but everything but one item was hot when served. Grandson had breakfast and he loved it. I had the cheeseburger, which was very good, with a side of onion rings. The onion rings were not hot and several were not cooked through. The breading was a little raw and mushy.

I LOVE this place! It's a smaller restaurant but it has a home feel to it. The workers are lovely, the food is amazing, there are good prices on the food too. I highly recommend this place for some good breakfast!

Hudy's has a nice extensive breakfast menu; something for everyone. I had the Italian skillet with over easy eggs. Very very good. Very good service; bottomless coffee cup.

We go here frequently for breakfast and it’s amazing. Pancakes, omelettes, and bacon are the best. If you live in the area, this will become a favorite.

I expected more out of a hungry mans breakfast and what I had ordered I could have made at home for $3. So if you're not looking for a whole lot in a breakfast than this would be the place.
