They're a chain around Seoul, for many different facial and aesthetics treatments. They're located right by the Hongik University Exit 8, which makes them especially convenient and easy to find. Consultation staff can be a little pushy, but as long as you know what you want, and you don't mind pampering yourself a little, things won't get too bad. They also speak other languages, so am honestly not too worried. Worst case scenario, ask for their promo packages, and not ala carte; which also works. I had myself some special chemical peel, a micro-needling treatment, and an aqua mask, for about 300+k KRW. Friends got skin Botox and Rejuran; but they felt a little too invasive for my liking.

Sharing as a first time customer who paid for my own treatment (as opposed to reviews from sponsored influencer/bloggers online). Read about Lienjang online, found its website (available in English) and made an appointment via Whatsapp. Booking an appointment: Easy and smooth over Whatsapp. Lienjang communicated clearly in English and was able to confirm the appointment quickly at the time and venue of my choice. Pricing: I chose Lienjang as I liked their transparent price list on their website. Learnt after arriving at the Hongdae branch that the online price list was just a guideline and did not apply to all branches. Slightly disappointed as two of the treatments I shortlisted were more expensive (between KRW 30,000 to 50,000) when quoted to me during consultation than as listed online. Nonetheless, they had some Dec promo packages that were still quite value for money. Tax-free: Liked that they remind you to bring your passport if you would like to do the tax refund as a short stay tourist. It is not an immediate discount; they issue you a receipt and you have to collect your tax back at the airport when departing. Service: Service was efficient and fuss free but don’t expect personal concierge service. It is an efficient factory-like set up - sign in at reception, meet with a consultant to discuss what you would like to get done, remove your own makeup, then go to your designated treatment spot where a beautician will call for you. Doc comes in for certain procedures (e.g Pico toning laser) but it is a brief exchange of hellos and you don’t see his face/know his name. I went on a Monday afternoon and the clinic was packed with more than a dozen customers who were in varying stages of consultation/treatment. Staff seemed busy (perhaps a little overworked?) and were polite but not friendly. For a first-timer like me it was a little overwhelming at the start, though I did get used to it. My beautician also missed out a step entirely and only realised it after I asked (though she was very apologetic). Treatments: I tried the Pico toning laser, microneedling and a facial skincare with cyrocell soothing therapy, which took a little over an hour. My skin is noticeably smoother post treatment so thumbs up for that; though still waiting to see effects of the laser which is supposed to help with pigmentation. Appreciate that the consultant managed my expectations about effects after a single session of pico laser - afterall it is not a miracle eraser. Set-up: Clinic was clean, well lit and had ample seating for customers to sit and wait in between procedures. Overall, I would recommend Lienjang if you know what you want to get done, want affordable treatments and are staying in the Hongdae area. I noticed several repeat customers (Japanese/Chinese) who seemed familiar with the set up and very at ease shuffling from point to point by themselves. If you are looking for a personalised beauty experience with a personal concierge from start to finish, then I’d recommend paying more and going with other more high end clinics in Gangnam/Apujeong that pride themselves on such service.

Such an easy process to book for foreigners. Consultation was done in English and they were able to address all my concerns. I was recommended treatments that are suitable for my skin as well as take home creams, masks and products. Amazing service. Thank you so much Lienjang Hongdae!

Overall, wouldn’t recommend as I’d expect better service since i’m spending close to 400,000won. Pros: 1. came earlier by 1 hr & they attended to me 2. language barrier wasn’t an issue, there were translators there who spoke eng/ chi Cons: 1. don’t accept walk-ins, only reservations made online. myeongdong outlet is fully booked, had to go to hongdae outlet 2. fast & furious: 368500won treatments finished in less than 5 mins. treatments were not exactly painless but doctor didn’t care, just spammed the injections like he’s in a damn rush. literally felt like a factory 3. no drinks (only 3-in-1 coffee & water) 4. no aftercare: didn’t tell me to avoid sun/ water or how to take care of the wounds 5. no gown to change 6. consultants just keep pushing for the most expensive treatments Also just to note, i was shown a pictorial menu on botox but apparently i was told that the price on the menu wasn’t even updated.

A very pleasant experience! Sunny who did our consultation was very patience in recommending us treatments to select for today. The treatment overall all was good and fast. The potenzan treatment was not very painful and the doctor did a test first to make sure i can take the pain. Highly recommend if you are looking for fast treatments! I bought a few products to try too as it felt good.

My experience at LienJang HongDae Outlet, where I underwent Pico Laser and Potenza treatments, was remarkably smooth and satisfying. A standout aspect was the staff's fluency in both English and Mandarin, making the outlet extremely foreigner-friendly. This linguistic capability greatly enhanced communication, ensuring that I was well-informed about each step of the procedures. The treatments themselves were executed with precision and care, with staff demonstrating thorough professionalism. The environment was not only comfortable but also impeccably clean, contributing to a reassuring experience. The aftercare instructions provided were clear and detailed, reflecting the staff's commitment to comprehensive patient care. Overall, the visit to LienJang HongDae Outlet was an exemplary display of quality service in a welcoming, multicultural setting.

The results of treatment indeed vary from person to person, but remember to seize the golden period to communicate with the on-site staff! The comments left only represent that I had a very bad experience with the services of one or two translators at Li Yanchang Hongdae Branch. I am not even sure whether the translator did not fully convey my concerns to the doctor, who made me feel uncomfortable throughout the process. I felt that these translators were in a hurry, and they were impatient and eager to end the conversation when I asked questions during the operation. The discomfort and pain during the operation made me feel worried and scared, so I asked if this was normal (my face was not numb but my mouth was numb). The tone of the interpreter's reply first made me feel uncomfortable, as if I asked a stupid question. After relaying it to the doctor, the doctor asked me if I felt uncomfortable or dizzy. I replied no, I was just a little worried and nervous, so I wanted to confirm if it was normal. After the entire right half of the face was finished, when I looked in the mirror, it was obvious that the position and effect were completely different from what I expected. Because of the pain and psychological discomfort, I felt so helpless that I cried, I repeated my demands and dissatisfaction several times. During the process, the translator did help to convey it to the doctor. The doctor's tone did not sound displeased, but he seemed to be unable to understand what was happening to me. As shared before, the translator's expression and speaking attitude throughout the whole process made people feel rushed and unhappy. They even said, "What do you want? Isn't the other side going to fight?" And she also called my counselor to understand the situation (she still sounded very unhappy and urgent). As soon as my counselor arrived at the scene and quickly understood the situation, he immediately understood my mood and said that he did. I noticed the asymmetry in the position and helped express my concerns to the doctor. I emphasized again that the course of treatment and the final results will indeed vary from person to person. They also offered more than once that they would allow me to dissolve the hyaluronic acid for free within a year. , as a consumer who has just spent nearly 800,000 won and suffered so many skin and flesh pains, this is definitely not the most pleasant situation to see, but they have proposed it more than once, as if this can erase the pain in the process. Unprofessional. The final consensus was that I was advised to schedule a follow-up visit and wait for the swelling to subside in a few days before doing an evaluation. The next follow-up consultation was arranged that day. On the day of the follow-up consultation, the person at the counter said that there was no appointment for me, and I didn’t want to ask any more questions. So I waited there for another ten or twenty minutes until the doctor and the translator arranged on site came to interview me. During the consultation, the overall needs were communicated and the solution given was not much different, which was to press the area where I had the injection five days ago again and again, probably to try to get the hyaluronic acid back to a more suitable position. The air is still filled with the feeling that the translators want to end it as soon as possible, including pacing back and forth, awkward facial expressions, casual eye rolls or eye contact with several on-site personnel, which all made me feel very disrespected, let alone bringing... I met a translator sister who looked like a new member. She was very energetic as if she was a senior in the school system. She kept winking at her and asked her to translate. The overall experience and experience made me, who has finished the treatment for 10 days, still feel... Feel angry. Sharing this experience with everyone only represents my personal experience in Liyanyan Hongdae on 3/21/2024. I have contacted the official, and the official said that they cannot disclose the name of the translator, so I will not dismiss other translators. Everyone can decide on their own efforts. In addition, the price lists for on-site consultation are all outdated and are placed on the table for your reference. Be sure to ask for the actual prices!

I set up my appointment two weeks ago on WhatsApp. Upon entering, I was greeted right away. The staff are friendly to foreigners. Lobby and whole area are clean and filled with plants! And Fonnie, my consultant, is super friendly and kind. I came in with a plan and changed it and Fonnie didn’t mind. She had a lot of recommendations which I am grateful for! Such a great experience! I cannot wait to come back again!

There are employees who speak many languages, very convenient, and promotions come out often. But before buying, you have to ask carefully. Have you ever been asked to buy a Pro Potenza because the employee said you could keep it for a year because the clinic saw that many tourists were not in Korea? Now, when the last set was to be used (7 months), another employee said that it couldn't be used and had to be used within 4 months and said the reason. In the end, they couldn't get the money back. In fact, they would issue a promotion and change it. You should inform the customer who bought this and that it is very bad and then give them a tube of cream to apologize. The employee who sells the promotion and the person who deals are also different people. But otherwise it's okay, the staff are cute, the store is convenient to travel to. Anyone who is afraid of pain, let me tell you, here the anesthetic takes very little time, probably 10-15 minutes. If the medicine doesn't make it numb in time, you have to wash it off. Anyone who has a painful procedure, try asking the staff to see if they need time for the medicine to work.

Take Exit 9 of Hongdae and walk for 2 minutes. There are Chinese staff. The treatment lasts about 40 minutes, it is recommended to come in the morning

The clinic is pretty easy to find. Staff here are knowledgeable and can advise you accordingly on what needs to be done based on your skin condition. Don’t expert anything too boujee here though, you have to wash your face yourself, and go to different rooms for different treatments. But over still very pleasant experience!

I looked at the website and thought it would be cheap to remove stains, but more and more were added during counseling and it didn't fit my budget, so I only had permanent makeup this time. Permanent makeup also turned out to be the most expensive option💦Counseling was a bit scary, but the woman who performed the procedure was kind~I'll save up some money to get the stain removed again!

The employees are very polite and also very friendly towards foreign customers. I made an appointment via Instagram and had a response within 24 hours. I also received detailed directions for my appointment by train and found the building without any problems. I only had to wait a short time on site and the consultation went quickly and without any problems. I'm excited to see what the results look like in a few days.

The staff was very welcoming and it was easy to book an appointment with them despite it being last minute. Looking forward to the good results of my treatments. The location is also very easy to find. 😊

Tried Potenza and Ldm for the first time at my first Saul. I did a lot of research and finally decided to re-engineer it. Overall it was good. I felt the effects of LDM immediately. I think we can also expect the effect of Potentia. If I have a chance to come to Seoul again, I think I will repeat.

most of the staff are fluent/trilingual (korean, english, chinese) so from booking an appointment on whatsapp to the actual facial care was fuss free. not much hardselling, they do recommend u their best packages which can be costly (for me) but after expressing budget issue they are understanding and accomodating. appointment was at 4pm and only started facial at 5.30pm. i did the cryocell therapy and it didn't do much, skin was still dry afterwards, but my friends' skin felt better. overall not too bad, good for travellers with language barrier issue, but be sure to allocate enough time for it as the wait can be long.
