The area offers an extraordinary culinary experience as well. Our guides were local to the region, very professional, knowledgeable and passionate about sharing history of each place on our itinerary. Our guide in Istanbul was amazing. She went out of her way to help us track down lost luggage. We were able to spend as much time or as little at each activity as we chose. She fire saw an issue and immediately corrected it. The food choices that she made were delicious.

The only way to see Istanbul, will personally recommend to all our traveling friends. Our guide Elif is the best we have ever had in 50 years of travel, she was not only knowledgeable, but pleasant and very flexible for our itinerary, giving use options and bypassing the usual lines. One night she even set up dinner for us at a restaurant within an easy walk of our hotel where she knew the people and we had a fabulous rooftop table and a 3 course wonderful Turkish dinner with cocktails, a bottle of wine, service included for US$125. The Hagia Sophia Mansions Hotel included in our fee was unique & outstanding!

We just booked an amazing tour to Turkey but it wasn't with Sojourn Tourism. After having an initial phone consultation confirmed, our Sojourn consultant stood us up. We thought 'life happens' so we agreed to a new date and time. Guess what? Our consultant stood us up again. Major red flag -- reliability and trust are two things we rate very highly when retaining a tour company. That's why we moved on to another agency and I'm glad we did -- the planning process was seamless and we love our personalized itinerary.

Sojourn tours was excellent. We had so many hiccups because of visa and passport issues on our trip, however, they were very patient with us and took great care to make last minute adjustments. We had a wonderful experience exploring Istanbul and Cappadocia, and I look forward to exploring other parts of Turkey with then.

Sojourn arranged our guides (all excellent), our ground transportation (all seamless), and some additional activities (cooking class--highly recommended, and Dervish show--nice to see). Sojourn booked us a trip to an all inclusive in Northern Cyprus. The Concord hotel we stayed at was epic! I have been back a couple times now but Sojourn made everything so easy from check in to handling questions when they came up!

Turkey trip was amazing. The country is very beautiful with excellent weather and lovely people. I had been to Istanbul, Cappadocia and Kas. Each city has its own rich cultural heritage and history. Soujourn had organized everything quite well. Each of the guides were very helpful and kind. Starting from Basek at airport, Sakis at Istanbul, Aylin at Cappadocia and Seriffe, all were friendly and helpful. They educated me well with their knowledge about each of the places we visited. The location, weather, food, stay, transport and cleanliness – all are excellent. Turkish people are such food lovers and quite generous. Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosques, Bosphourous rides, Grand bazar at Istanbul are marvelous. The open air museums in Goreme are truly amazing. Unfortunately, I couldn't do the hot air balloon ride at Cappadocia as the weather was not good. As a city, I am in love with Kas – such a beautiful place with lovely view of the Mediterranean Sea. One thing, maybe Soujourn can consider is to make the price of their package bit more competitive. Nevertheless, I recommend you should visit Turkey atleast once in your lifetime. And if you are considering a tour package I recommend Soujour Tours and the above mentioned guides. Good luck !

My husband and I contacted Sojourn directly to help us plan and make arrangements for a 10 day trip to Turkey. We visited Istanbul, Troy, Ephesus, and Cappadocia. Everything about our experience with Sojourn was excellent. They arranged our internal flights, hotel stays, guides, and ground transport. Our guides were wonderful: knowledgeable and personable and happy to make every effort to ensure that our desires were fulfilled. (For example, my husband wanted to have a Turkish barber experience) The hotels were high quality. Also, the cost for our private tour was not much more than a group tour booked with an American tour company.
