This place we found amazing, the rock tombs along with the theater were incredible. This is place you definitely need to visit if you are anywhere near it. Lots of tombs to see and many blocks sitting on the ground with carving on them. A must see. 3btraveler

Lovey place in the mountain, the tombs are impressive and unusual vision. The theatre is quite interesting to see and comprehend, walk around and enjoy the views. I would highly recommend to visit the Myra ruins, only advice is try not to get there not at the moment when the sun in at its warmest :)

This is the perfect place if you are a person who loves exploring historical places and myths. The tombs are showing off their amazing structure and history. Next to it, the Myra Theater is also huge and still keeps very good shape until now. Worth to visit!

Some guy stops you on the way to museum parking (aggressively) suggesting to park and have a lunch at his place. If you continue driving for 100meters after him, you can park at the museum entrance. The place itself is amazing

Another stop on the lycian trail, another incredibly well preserved site of lycian and roman ruins. They are still restoring the place so probably in 5-10y this will be a near complete amphitheater.

These ruins were very interesting to explore! There is a large theatre here, as well as multiple tombs built into the mountainside. Unfortunately, you can’t walk into any of the tombs and it is difficult/impossible to see any murals or reliefs associated with the tombs. The history is very interesting. Definitely worth stopping in to see if you’re heading to/from Kas.

Wonderful place, absolutely worth visiting when nearby. We did a whole tour in the area (Sunken city, St Nicholas church, Myra tombs) and this place was definitely the high light of the three. To manage expectations: you can't go in the tombs neither climbs them (duh)

Absolutely amazing archaeological site situated in the Demra district of Turkey. The ruins are a 2.5 hour drive from Antalya. You can buy the tickets there itself. You can see the rock-cut tombs and the theatre which have been maintained and preserved from 168 BC!! The locals are very helpful and will guide you. A must visit if you enjoy history and archaeology.

What a rich and fertile area of earth. The giants swaths of greenhouses and open air fruit / vegetable farms that surrond this ancient necropolis are amazing. Tomb houses carved into the mountainside would be quite the big deal thousands of years ago. Ancient Craftsmanship is hard to beat. There always seem to be a dog or cat or chicken or goat wandering around 🙂

Beautiful ancient city with a great theatre in extremely good condition. There also are kings graves. It’s impressive. I think one hour will do to visit this place.

It is a must see for all those interested in ancient history and achievements. The ruins contain numerous details of live and death in Myra. The archeological work is still ongoing and the necropoli incredibly fascinating

Very interesting place. I was there in April. Really empty. Only ten people were there with us. Unfortunately even with these few people around, drone flights were forbidden.

Wonderful place - visited August 2023 - tickets are very expensive so visit early in the hot season to make the most of your time before the temperatures peaks.

The ruins were not as extensive as I had hoped but they were interesting non the less. A lot of detail in and around the amphitheatre. The tombs were interesting. Get one audio device for your group, pull out the headphone lead and everyone will be able to listen.

The ruins are amazing and totally worth to see with your own eyes. Also it will be very nice if having a good guide likea we had, to tell the stories and history of the place.

The entrance now is 45trl. This place is small, no drone allowed. Too far from Antalya- not worth it. Not recommended.

Bueatiful, the entrance is a bit costly and is a bit difficult to reach the site, you have to follow the GPS

Interesting place, especially with a guide, recommended to all who have an interest in history

Amazing how they built all this back then! Some more info woukd be interesting to read on site, if you don't want to buy the audio guide. The place seems to be a little abandoned and it is surprising, how it's hidden on the edge of the town, midst the gardening facilities.
