Lara public beach is good, but there are no facilities there. No umbrellas or sunbathing chairs etc. If you go to there and you are not in an all inclusive hotel you have two options: either you bring umbrella and sun chairs with you or park for free in one of the cafes and rent their sunbathing facilities. Latter option is more convenient obviously. The water is warm and enjoyable to swim in.

Quite a good beach, not the best beach in Turkey. But decent in Antalya. It has more of a romantic vibe. Water is blue but it’s quite rocky. Can be uncomfortable for the feet.

Lara Beach is unsafe for tourists because there are lots of thief! So be careful when you are there with valuable items, My passport bag was almost stolen…. So please take care of your valuable stuff specially in Lara Beach

I'm inclined to give a 4-star rating to this ideal family beach due to its excellent amenities, including well-maintained changing rooms. It offers ample space for barbecue activities, making it an ideal spot for both kids and families, all without any entrance fees. While there is a paid section with chairs on one side, you can enjoy the sand for free if you bring your own mat. However, the only downside was the noticeable presence of litter like discarded cigarettes and plastic bottles, which detracted from the overall experience. And yes weekends are crowded so May be go bit early and come back early would be ideal.

It's a sandy beach. I suggest watch the sun rising ✨️ the sea temperature always warm so you can swim at night also. At evenings, a group of people hang out and chill. Amazing place to hang with friends. Some people do fishing or camping. If you are lucky you may see a baby caretta🥰

Took the Bus KL08 from Kaleiçi, it stops right at the beach. Beautiful sandy beach, reminded me of Cox's Bazar in my home country but with less crowd. The "Sandland" is nearby, which is a great tourist attraction.

Cesspit. Our worst beach is better. it's not what we call sandy, it is like a really sharp grit sand with stones. The whole area of Lara is a dump, kebab shops and restaurants trying to charge more than we pay here with them lot always outside trying to blag, and packs of stray dogs everywhere. I find it hard to believe that anybody would come back.

There are a lot of rubbish in the sea and municipality do nothing to stop that. I've never see such dirty sea before.

Lara Beach is very long stretched beach i visit the Larena Beach on Lara Beach and it was very Nice Experience. The water was very clean and the waves were amazing. Although the sunset is on the back side of the beach but still i Loved it. Good Place to visit when in Antalya.

Nice beach but I liked Konyaalti beach more. Lara beach has a park where you can barbeque. This is a choice you can make if you want to go camping so to speak. A part futher away from Antalya center, is used by private resorts. A middle part seems to be used for beach festivals (abandoned outside of summer months/high season).

I would talk about beach number 6. It’s super crowded, a lot of smokers here, every 3 person is smoking! Sun beds are too close to each other, that cause all the smoke goes to you. I smelled like an ash tray after spending some time here. Another unpleasant experience is dealing with employees here, omg they will trick you, lie to you and make everything possible to make you pay more. The bathroom is also very smelly and dirty.

Dirty water, even on sand you can find disgusting things like plastic pieces, plastic bottles, etc. If you really want to attract paying tourists, you must do something for it first. I hope reasonable tourist will avoid this place.

The worst place in Antalya to go. I went there with my hubby and did not know the way out, so we asked other visitors and were walking towards the exit but were stopped by the security. He didn’t understand English and we didn’t understand Turkish but did understand later that it was only for their hotel customers to walk around that place. He was rude and we felt awkward and bad and then just walked along the beach to go out. I understood that the beach is owned by most of the hotels there so if you’re planning to go to beach on your own, don’t go to the ones which have fishing net fences and sun loungers. The public have only access to small part of the beach. I’ll never come to Antalya again, not only weather is very hot here but also people are!

Just back from 10 glorious days at The Lara Barut Collection. Such a beautiful, luxurious hotel. Everything about it was perfect and the staff were so lovely. Big shout out to the coffee shop Hanimel - delicious coffee, sandwiches, pastries, cakes and desserts - top notch. Turunc was also an amazing restaurant, very attentive staff. We hope to be back very soon

Nice beach but only recommend staying on public part. As soon as you move you get followed by gangs of young Turkish men who follow you and watch every move regardless if you on your own or with family. Not a nice experience unfortunately

Nice beach for a swim and sunbathing. I preferred to book a private spot in one of the restaurants at this beach as they had parking and food facility. If you don’t want to spend extra then simply park your car on the road side and head to the beach.

The beach was clean and nice. Since it was one of public beaches, you would expect it to be not very clean or not good. But here it was not the case. There is no entrance fee and there is a bufet inside to get some drinks and foods. There were chairs and umbrellas as well with some payment. Also there was a parking space inside. Just keep in mind that alcoholic beverages are not sold here but drinking them has no limits. Would recommend this place

We spent an excellent day at Palm Beach. Comfortable lounge chairs and an umbrella for $400 lira per person. The attendants were very helpful and the music added to the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this private beach.

Nothing special. Without car makes no sense. Service quality is very average. The prices for sunbeds and cafe - much higher then in Konyaalti... And it all feels outdated. Most of sunbeds are old and rusty. Though, it's sand there and long line, it all doesn’t look attractive to me

Not my favorite beach in Antalya. I thinks it's just really hyped up for being a sand beach, but I would rather the stone beaches with crystal clear blue water than the brown water I found here.

  • 3/5 Fateha B. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a stony beach (has only a metre of sand close to the water). It’s nice but don’t expect to be blown away. We hired a bench and ordered food/fresh juice. It was okay. They obviously overcharge you because they know they can. They don’t have any menus so I think they just charge what they want (it wasn’t massively overpriced though, so don’t be too worried about this). We couldn’t be bothered to argue about the price so we just paid, but I think you could barter a little if you’re bothered about saving the £4/5. They have showers there and toilets (showers we saw were exposed though, not cubicles).

😐 Dirty beach a lot of plastic garbage on the beach. A lot of flies. Public showers are very dirty looks like they are not cleaned and bad odor. The sea is beautiful in the morning and clean. 👍👍 I loved this beach. It's almost November and the sun is warm and the water is cool, but perfect. The pebbles of the beach make it really easy because there no sand to brush off or get stuck in places. There's also a nice park next to the beach and mountains on the background. Don't miss it!

👍👍 My friend and I came here both days for the beach. It cost us 100TL per bed out front and the staff was soooo helpful. There are bathrooms, umbrellas, play stations for kids, tables, showers and good beats. We were very comfortable and content!

😠 We went horse back riding here. i feel sorry for the horses they skinny and they got hit in front of us, in the face. Horrible people who just want to make money of tourists. They scammed us for 80 Eur for pictures and some video and never finished the video like they said they would....
