A
great
little
beach
very
near
the
town,
walking
distance
in
fact.
The
space
is
small,
thus
by
early
afternoon
gets
very
crowded.
Parking
is
on
the
road
side.
WCs
work,
reasonably
clean,
but
there
are
only
3
of
them.
Could
use
2-3
more
during
busy
times.
Showers
and
change
rooms
available.
Restaurant
and
ice
cream
shop
right
there,
very
nice.
The
restaurant
looks
very
nice
with
thatched
roof.
But
it
fills
fast.
Attendants
are
very
friendly
and
helpful
(adjust
umbrellas
even
when
you
don't
ask).
The
view
of
mountains
and
harbor
is
great.
But
the
star
of
the
show
is
the
water.
It
is
blue,
clean,
clear,
shallow
out
~10m,
then
drops
off.
No
rocks
to
avoid,
bottom
is
gravel/pebble,
white
and
clean.
Lots
of
tiny
fish
swimming
around
(non
biting).
Unless
you
have
tough
feet,
rubber
water
shoes
are
a
must.
There
is
actually
a
lifeguard,
surprise.
Perhaps
explaining
the
high
ratio
of
families/kids.
If
you
don't
want
to
put
up
with
small
kids
consider
another
beach
(like
across
the
road).
June

50TL
per
umbrella
and
lounge
chair.
Across
the
road
is
another
small
pebbly
beach,
with
no
services
at
all.
No
rentals.
Bring
your
own
chair,
umbrella.
Water
there
is
as-cold,
but
much
wavier.
The
shallow
is
at
most
1m
wide,
then
drops
off.
No
wonder
this
side
is
mainly
adults.
