Fantastic ancient ruins talked away in the hillside 🤩🤩🤩 Apparently these ruins are part of the Lycian trail... And apparently we were riding our motorcycles on said trail but I had this place parked on my map for many many months and it had to get seen my friends 😏 Amazing to see the tombs cut into the sheer rock face. Really impressive that they cut a huge stone in half to make a gate with a door thousands of years ago 🤯 I have to say places like this that are way out in the middle of nowhere off the beaten path are always my favorite because they do not see as much traffic and always seem to be a little bit more intact 💪💪💪 Big thumbs up for this place for sure 👍👍👍👍👍

Really cool find in the middle of the forest. Bring good shoes, careful with the snakes! No info whatsoever so read up in Wikipedia before!

Fantastic ruins tucked into the forest. I highly recommend doing this hike from Josito campground, especially if you're a climber and need a rest day, it if it's raining. From camp, it's 1.75 miles and 1,066' elevation gain. Be sure to follow the red/white stripes & Cairns. The last 1/2 mile or so is on the dirt road. Cell service works everywhere so you can't get too lost. Give yourself time to hike around and discover all the treasures this place holds.

(Translated by Google) We walked the Lycian way. It is in good condition compared to many ancient cities. The view is perfect. (Original) Likya yolundan yürüyerek gittik. Birçok antik kente göre iyi durumda. Manzarası mükemmel.

(Translated by Google) Although it is well hidden behind vegetation, it is a city that has been plundered. Very few structures have survived. While wandering around, it is possible to come across plenty of rock tombs around. There is no data regarding the Hellenistic period of the city. Finds MS Roman Imp. coincides with the period.

Super cool area to explore. Surprisingly clean for being open to the public. More to see here than some paid historical attractions. Location and directions on Google maps were perfect.

I call out the authorities!! Stop investing your legacy and wealth! Start protecting this place which is our own real history! It's a shame on us that the ancient city is totally broken and abandoned to its fate..

A lovely walk up the woods slopes brought us to this peaceful, ruined yet still magnificent old city with intact doorways, ancient Greek inscriptions still visible amidst the rubble and encroaching nature. Great views to the coast and the surrounding peaks too.

The site is totally worth the effort to go to. Aside from the stunning view of the Geyikbayiri valley, the antique Lycian site is rich in history and definitely interesting exploring.

(Translated by Google) One of the lesser known ancient cities with spectacular views. It is definitely worth a visit with its walls, cave type cisterns, scenery, grave types and location. If your path falls to Geyikbayiri do not stop. Even if you go on foot, the reward is different. You can also go with the vehicle, but you will find the way to the mine from the road for the mine. No sign.

(Translated by Google) I can say that it is one of the ancient cities with the best view in Antalya. Take your chair and coffee from one of the most ambitious views of the ancient city I've been to and go upstairs. While it was the outpost city of Termessos, it developed and became a city on its own. You should definitely visit the ancient city of Termessos. (Original) Antalya'daki en iyi manzaraya sahip antik kentlerden biri diyebilirim. Onlarca gittiğim antik kentten en iddialı manzarası olanlardan sandalye ve kahvenizi alıp çıkın yukarı. Kendisi Termessosun karakol kentiyken gelişip kendi başına kent olmuştur. Mutlaka Termessos antik kentini de ziyaret edin.

For historical place lovers it's ok. Could have a hidden story BUT no maintenance at all. And people don't respect the place value and the nature.
