This is one of the best resorts I have ever visited. No matter what room you are in you wake up to the most beautiful view of the black sand and the lovely waves thar are rolling in. In the evening you can sit outside to enjoy the amazing thunderstorms out at sea, while you sip whatever beverage you prefer. The breakfast is epic! You can either have it on your balcony or down in the restaurant. They have a nice and cool AC that gave us Europeans great comfort in the heat and the rooms are clean and have perfect bed linen. Everyone is super helpful and speaks good English. The only downside is the that is is not close to anything, so if you'd only want a bag of crisps and some fruit, you would need to take a car and use their car service. We will most definitely come back here if we were to visit Bali again.

I had one of the prettiest sunsets I've seen for a while at Amarta. It was such a beautiful and tranquil beach resort; with a gorgeous black-sand beach that the Kardashians would yearn for. They probably had less than 20 rooms in total, which was perfect to keep your Bali getaway small and intimate. Oh! They also had a cute little bakery inside the resort where you can get bread and pastries all day long, fresh from the oven!

It's a beautiful property on the more laid back side of Bali. The rooms are spacious, the staff is good, the food was ok, limited options but decent for where you're staying and what you're paying for. It's a beachfront property with fine black sand and a couple of infinity pools that are 1.7m deep. We had a great relaxed vacation at this property and I would highly recommend it!

The most terrible service and experience what I have here on Bali. If you wanna crush your weekend- come here. First of all: service is like most cheapest guest house. I need to call manager for asking help with my bags. I asked twice person from reception- but they just don’t care! I wait 2 hours before they help me / 4 times I asked them what I need: take my bag from reception to my room / After, I try to take hot bath, but they don’t have hot water! I wait 2 hours more before they try to give me the cheapest room for that villa that I choose! It is terrible experience and terrible service. And by the way: in the morning I woke up from construction sound))) great retreat

Stayed just one night, wish it could have been for more. What a lovely place, right on the jet black sand beach. It may have rained most of the time but we didn't mind. Looking out and hearing the surf, wow… Just perfect. Lovely breakfast was included in our deal. Contact the hotel they will price match and maybe even upgrade you. Super staff. Will try and go again soon

We absolutely loved spending a couple of days towards the end of our honeymoon at Amarta Beach Retreat. It is just perfect to enjoy some days by the pool and listen to the sound of the sea, eat great food and relax. We loved the both the Ocean Villa and the Garden Suite and everything was clean. The staff was super friendly and everything was just amazing. There are only a few small shops in walking distance, but a lot of possibilities to take day trips or a shorter Trip to Tannah Lot Temple or Jatiluwih rice terrace which are amazing.

Beachfront resort with affordable price (compare to others beachfront resort in Bali) - nice and friendly staff - old room but nice - fantastic view and nice ground area Got room upgrade from garden view to ocean view. The view from room balcony was superb. I enjoy just sit down in the balcony for ours while hearing the waves of the ocean. The resort has 2 pools, 1 restaurant and a spa. Huge garden area. Had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and my opinion the food really good. Clean and quiet beach area in the front of the resort. Enjoy to walk on the beach during sunset and in the morning. Overall really had a great experience for my and my family (my wife and daughter love it) Thank you for all the staff, especially all staff in Lily Restaurant. Will back next time :)

Beatiful and moderate priced hotel. It has 3 stars only, but I strongly recommend this place over many 4stars venues. Very friendly atmosphere, positive and helpful stuff. We came for 1-2 days and so loved the place, that stayed for 3 nights. Nice long beach with soft black sand, 2 pools, sunset view. Enjoy, guys!

This is pretty close to the iconic villa resort on a tropical Paradise island. Facilities are good, thoughtful design and details with just the right blend of local culture and customs. It is relatively remote - about 2 hours from the airport during normal traffic hours, driving through little local streets and countless villages. The final stretch on a one lane dirt road past rice paddies and corn fields. Then you arrive in this little oasis with postcard views by the beach. Not ideal if you want to hit the local tourist destinations - it's a lot of long car rides. Not ideal if you like to dine out at fancy restaurants. The on site restaurant serves a decent mix of local Balinese dishes and western dishes. Occasional annoyances include smoke from nearby fields burning and motorbikes/ATVs running on the beach. And yes, bring your own wine if you enjoy nice wine - they only had one white wine the entire time of our stay. The pools are rarely used and fairly clean - easy swim and relaxing dips. Adequate pool side lounges and umbrellas. Staff are numerous and always friendly and polite. Landscaping is well kept and pretty. If you don't like the constant sound of the surf, you might want to ask for a villa farther back, behind another villa.

Amazing place, this Bali accommodation is perfect for weddings, honeymoons, personal holidays and even day trips to the spa. Just steps from the unparalleled Pasut Beach a black sand paradise that’s worth every photo you’re smack dab in the middle of a magical adventure.

My girlfriend and I booked the Ocean Suite with Jacuzzi for a 2-night stay. The view was nice, with a superb black sand Pasut Beach. However, we were quite disappointed by the service. The jacuzzi did not really work and failed to meet our expectations - it was way too weak. The drainage of the jacuzzi was also problematic. Do prepare for the occasional lack of hot shower. When we told the manager about these problems, she did not seem to care about it. The Resort was located somewhere really far from the city centre and there were lack of facilities except the one and only one slightly overpriced restaurant and a spa. The transportation offered by the Resort was also more expensive than the general price. Yes the Beach was awesome but you can access to it by going for other villas or resorts which offer better service.

Stunning location, good sized rooms but unfortunately our peaceful weekend getaway was severely let down by the food and noise. Breakfast, Inedible, lunch..ok. Went to eat dinner and partners main took 45 minutes to come out. Then my main (aussie beef steak) took 1 hour and 20 minutes to come out. At which point my partner is well and truly finished. Two bites in, realized it wasn't edible as I'm assuming it was frozen and they tried to thaw it out to cook. Couldn't break through a single piece of it. 30 minutes between drinks. I then asked for a beer thinking that would at least speed up the process, unfortunately not. The service was simply abysmal, and non existent. Really dissapointing. Then whilst trying to go to sleep for the night we are met by full blown techno music and bass thumping through our villa. Called reception and was informed it was the neighbours throwing a party. Joy! All in all a well below average experience. Wouldn't recommend it. The locations amazing but better off finding a villa nearby and cooking yourself.

I came here several times for lunch and also to enjoy the sunset. They provide various types of Indonesian and western food with delicious taste and also cooked with fresh ingredients. Pretty good and friendly service. Overall this beautiful and quiet place is highly recommended for relaxing at the end of the day also for a staycation on the weekends.

Good hotel, delicious food, friendly staff, great sunsets, wild black sand beach with a lot trash, but still beautiful, internet 20-50 mb/sec, but sometimes worked slower, shower water pressure slow.

Nice breakfast, we had sea view. À bit in the middle of nowhere, So I suggest to relax in their spa and by one of the two Pools.

This is a great location if your looking to chill out and relax. The staff are lovely and friendly. It definitely needs to improve its communication with guests. There is no information in the rooms, or anywhere else. You have to ask. There is no information for the tv channels, or anything about the spa and costs etc etc. Also the menu at the restaurant is very difficult to read and the choices need occasional change. It hasn’t changed in the three different times I have stayed. Some of the food could be improved. The little bakery is a bonus.
