We loved this place! A hidden gem. Great food, tea, views, and service. The kitchen is small and one waitress works at a time (the day we were there at least), so be patient and kind. Highly recommend.

This place is so everything from peaceful to scenic to relaxing. The ambiance here is 10/10! I find that persons from the UK and those knowledgeable about UK food would more appreciate the bites. Don't get me wrong though, it was very tasty - I had the islander's lunch which I would only have repriced. The cava spritz was nice with subtle flavor, get the elder berry if you decide on this. I have to return to try their tea (it's just so hot on the island that I always prefer something cold 😅). Food 8/10 I saved the best for last - from the wait staff to the kitchen - all extremely friendly and have BIG beautiful smiles! 😊 10+/10

The service at this place is excellent. The coffee is good and tea is yummy. Avocado toast is a delight. Reasonable prices too! Awesome views from up top. Ice cream was also good! I do not recommend the scones though they are plain and flaky. The mango jam they came with was delicious though

This is a must visit place! The setting is fabulous; so pretty. I ordered a mixed cheese and meat board - beautifully presented and very tasty. I also indulged in the cakes - the Victoria sandwich was so light. I also especially liked the pineapple jam that accompanied the scones.

This place has a lovely setting but make sure you take the turning saying Rain Forest Tea rooms and The Retreat and not the second steep gravel track that Google Maps tried to rake us up. We ordered the Cream Tea Special at 70 ECD + 15ECD for a coffee. The tea and coffee were OK but we were left feeling distinctly "ripped off" with the food. Tiny portions and nothing Special about it. The drinks were served 30 minutes ahead of the food and not jointly. We counted 3 members of staff and the two beind the counter were working at a snails pace. On a good note the location was very nice, but in conclusion I won't be rushing back for a second visit.

Went here today for my mom’s birthday. Called ahead and made a reservation for our party. I had the chai tea while my wife had the decadent chocolate and others had varying flavors as well. The individual tea pots give you about two full cups of tea. If you are HUNGRY I suggest ordering a few things to make a regular size meal. I had the bread, eggs, bacon, mushrooms and baked beans(aka full English breakfast). The desserts are very good as well. My brothers raves about the rum sauce on the scones and the banana bread while I had the millionaire shortbread. We were the first ones there at 11 but others strolled in throughout the morning into the afternoon. The grounds of the retreat center make for a good photo shoot as well.

A beautiful spot, surrounded by jungle, serving a range of teas and some good coffee. Light lunches and cakes were really really good. The service was really patchy though, we waited far too long for our food. But they were so nice, it all sort of balanced up. Highly recommended.

Fantastic. So good we visited twice. Scones are best we have tasted anywhere. Wonderful grounds. Highly recommended.

I communicated with them before I went to Antigua and mentioned the dates I was planning to visit. They said yeah and welcome. Take bus 13 etc etc. My taxi driver said, maybe call them first when I was in St John’s. They were closed till end of October! What a weird situation all around. Glad we called as I would have wasted taxi money ($25 each way). The busses are strange as well as they hardly drive anywhere.

A beautiful hidden gem on Fig Tree Drive. Covered seating, the nicest toilets on the island, and an old windmill tower as well as lovely grounds to explore. The menu looked delicious, but I had to have the cream tea when I saw it. Delicious mini open rolls, scones with local jam (pineapple and sorrel) and cream, and a piece of cake along with tea or coffee. All of which were very tasty. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, parking on site as well.

What a beautiful find from a tourism magazine ! We enjoyed our drive through the rainforest and then to find this lovely tea house ready to serve us afternoon tea. We recommend the sticky toffee gingerbread cake … it was delicious!! I had the Lady Grey tea for the first time …so smooth and lovely. The perfect lunch on a hot day.
