We finally found a place on the island that lives up to its reputation! Gina's is fabulous! Conveniently situated on the main road with plenty of parking and the beautiful beach right behind, the setting is perfect! Gina's food is the best we've had so far. Her roasted chicken is seasoned perfectly, and the rice, macaroni salad, and fried plantains were all so tasty. Her dining area was so charming with plenty of shade and lots of green plants! The meal was reasonably priced (2 meals and 2 drinks for $64EC) and served up quickly. Gina is a very charming woman and her husband is also very nice. You can order ahead if you want anything special. I highly recommend Gina's!

Gina was so kind and generous after a miscommunication. Perfect spot to try black pineapple and have a fresh fruit salad in the garden. Bring cash!

This is a small restaurant beside the road just close to Morris Bay Beach in Old Port. We went twice in July, low season. It looks she always have chicken BBQ, if you want fish you have to call her the previous day to confirm you will be going to eat. A really nice couple. Her husband prepared for us ginger beer on the spot, exwclkwnt ant then cut some pineapple and mangoes. This island is pricey but here the price were really fair. 100% recommended a must stop when you visit Antigua.

Gina’s cook shop is the place to visit when you want to eat delicious traditional dishes! Me and my boyfriend stopped on our way to the beach and were taken away by not only Gina’s amazing food but also her kind, lovable and cheerful personality. From that day, we couldn’t wait for the time to go back - her traditional breakfast with the choco tea is to die for! Her Christmas meal was the best way to celebrate Christmas in another country and really made the day special - the flavours, combinations and perfect style of cooking make us reminisce our holiday days! One of the most memorable spots I've ever dined at during my travels. Gina's food is not only absolutely delicious (most tender jerk chicken I've ever had), but she also really made me feel at home and welcome. One of the few places I repeatedly dined at during my travels. I almost never dine at the same place twice. Would recommend everyone to check out the spot. Thank you Gina!

Good home cooking near a beautiful beach. Gina puts her heart into the place — with a big garden of colourful flowers. There’s a smoking barbecue and she takes requests (like lobster) if you call early. You can eat well here for a fraction of the price charged by more touristy hubs. Check out the coconut dumplings and saltfish in the shack next door if you’re looking for breakfast too.

We come to Antigua a couple of times a year from the UK. We always eat out but Gina’s food is the best on the island, the food is delicious and Gina and her son are such friendly people. I would 100% recommend the food here it really is the best. Also if there’s something you fancy that’s not on the menu she will make sure to put it on the menu for you the next day.

Gina is truly delightful and her food was the best we experienced on the island…hands down. Fish, chicken, ribs, rice, plantains…just say yes to whatever she offers, as it’s all incredible. Bring cash (no credit cards accepted)
