We had so much fun learning to make rum. AJ & Henry were great. We ended up at Academy of Rum unexpectedly after a recommendation and it was one of he highlights of our trip. The location is gorgeous right next to the beach with a lovely breeze and well-appointed rum making stations. There were 4 of us in the group and we made some awesome memories.

Had a great time this morning learning about rum making and flavoring my own bottle. AJ and Charlie are excellent host. Definitely recommend this experience.

My husband and I had such a fun time here! We learned all about rum in a fun hands on way! We even got to make our own bottle of rum, beachside! Hidden gem!! We laughed and laughed our whole time during the class! It has great shade too if you need a break from the sun but want to keep drinking! 💜

We went with my parents and had a blast learning the process of creating rum- including bringing alcohol to its boiling temp and then using flavor-infused rums to create our own unique bottles! Truly a memorable experience and one we’d gladly recommend to visitors going to Galleon Beach.

An excellent experience and a must for rum lovers. Henry and AJ run a great session helping you make your own flavoured rum to take away with you.

What a great way to spend 90 minutes! We learnt a lot, tasted a lot and laughed a lot! Loved being able to create our own rum, under the expert guidance of our knowledgeable hosts, who made us all feel so welcome. And in such a beautiful setting too. Fabulous!

As a bonus this business is located at beautiful Galleon Beach. AJ provided explicit instructions, answered all questions thoroughly, and described the process with colorful humor. Taste the samples, join a class, distill and blend to your discriminating palate. Yo, ho, ho!

Highly recommendable if you want to learn about rum and create your own. AJ was great to explain the entire process, and it overall was a great experience!!! Well done, and good luck with your future endeavours! Once the aged rum is ready, let me know!!!
