The
Villas
at
Sunset
Lane
is
a
tiny
hotel
with
a
lot
of
charm.
I
was
attracted
to
it
initially
by
the
unique
architecture
(Spanish
colonial
with
a
bubble-gum
pink
color
scheme,
like
a
Caribbean
version
of
the
Grand
Budapest
Hotel),
but
it
is
carried
by
the
owner,
operator,
and
master
chef,
Jackie.
She
cooked
us
breakfast
and
two
terrific
dinners;
the
lobster
dinner
was
the
best
we
had
on
the
island.
She
is
an
outstanding
host
and
a
lovely
person.
A
word
of
warning:
this
is
a
small
operation
that
has
only
grown
smaller
during
COVID,
so
if
you
are
expecting
constant
attention
and
amenities
you
should
look
elsewhere.
But
if,
like
us,
you
are
seeking
rest,
relaxation,
and
exquisite
food
in
unique
surroundings,
you
will
be
very
happy
at
the
Villas
at
Sunset
Lane.
