Stunning views and amazing atmosphere. There was a steel drums band and later a reggae band, both really cool. The food, however, could be better. I ordered a fish burger and it consisted of three tiiiiny pieces of battered fish and it wasn't particularly cheap. Still, the experience of a Sunday sunset there is great.

Went to Shirley heights to see the sunset and the bbq. It was a good experience, plenty of food and drink available. Sunset was impressive. People selling small local gifts and lots of seating. Food was fairly tasty but look to be paying $16usd for a burger in a bun which is a bit pricey. Beers were cheap, local cocktails a bit more expensive. We had a good time so that's all that matters. Entry was $10usd per person. Pay with a card if you can though as we heard some people being charged more when paying cash. Also, try and book a cab from you're hotel as some of the cabbies aren't real cabbies which use hire cars with no insurance to carry fares.

July is best time to come since it’s off peak and quiet . Came here on a weekday and the view was amazing. We ordered couple of rum drinks and a burger . The bartender she was awesome and friendly . Great views of the harbor from above.

Amazing views! Visited Blockhouse and Shirley's Heights after Nelsons Dock Yard... fantastic day out and fab mango daiquiri to finish the days sightseeing. Will definitely go back for Sunday night on my next trip to Antigua as heard this is very good.

Another beautiful spot in Antigua. Top of the mountain, great music 🎶 and cold drinks. Its $10 US admission fee per person. Then you can enjoy the stunning views of the English harbor and Nelson stockyards, while you have some delicious BBQ'd jerked chicken or burgers, hot dogs or ribs. We tried the chicken 🐓🍗 and ribs and it was fantastic. Definitely worth the short drive.

A must do in Antigua. I think is the most touristic place all over the island, but is definitely worth it. Either you can book in advance or do walk in entrance (10USD). Live music on Sunday evening. There is a bar and a restaurant inside from where you can order drinks and food (which are not included in the ticket hence you have to pay for them). Amazing views and music! Well done to the bands and the singers.

The view and the people who work there are my favorite. I wish I could say the food was a part of it, but maybe it was what I had. So I'm willing to give it another shot because of the friendly staff. But I will definitely recommend this be a spot to visit when in Antigua.

One of the best places for the sunset 🌅. Amazing views, amazing history. We have attended the parties on Thursday and Sundays with live music, and we had lots of fun, we really enjoyed. Great food, great cocktails and the best views.

Magnificent setting with views across English Harbour and out towards Montserrat and a gorgeous sunset. Wonderful atmosphere with music, food & drinks. Loved the steel band, and then later the reggae band. Great value and highly recommended when in Antigua.

Great entertainment I love this spot! It’s amazing and different from the usual quiet Antiguan setting. There is a small entry fee, food and drinks available for purchase. Typical Caribbean/ island cuisine; smells and taste amazing. The view is spectacular in they day time but I prefer the night time views. It may be packed but everyone is having fun and it makes for a great vybe. Lovely steel band and then good reggae music. Seating options available if you can’t stand all the time. I love it !

I didn’t eat at the restaurant, but just stopped by on our tour to see the view. So beautiful!! I recommend coming even if it’s just to see the lookout!

This Place is a must if you are staying on the island. We did new years eve and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was amazing and the music was so uplifting. There was a steel drum band for a couple of hours followed by a live band. Everyone was enjoying themselves and the food was great. The views are the best in the island. We have all seen the photos but in real life it is even better. Fantastic visit. Would highly recommend.

Is it touristy? Yes. Was it fun? Absolutely! We don't normally like going to places which seem to be a tourist trap but I have to admit that it was indeed a very different and unique experience in Antigua. Will I do it again? I don't think so. Once is enough for me. :D

Get away from the crowds by taking the trail that leads down partway through trees to several overlooks at lower elevations for spectacular selfies.

An absolute MUST DO in Antigua!!! Coming here on Sunday night was one of the best parts of our honeymoon. The line for food took forever, I would probably recommend eating before you go, but the food was absolutely outstanding. Drink prices were very reasonable!! $4 for a corona and $5 for some insanely strong rum punch. The sunset was gorgeous and the band was fun. Can’t recommend this enough!!

A great panoramic view awaits all those taking the effort to get here by foot - tough climb or vehicle taxi/car. The sunset Sundays are certain a highlight with partying music and bbq food.

The celebration on Sunday is a must go. Went here for my birthday and it didn't disappoint. The Halcyon steel drum band was outstanding. The beautiful sunset and the food was awesome. If you don't do anything go to Shirley Heights!!!! You won't be disappointed. Dance until you can't dance no more with the reggae band after the greatest performance from the steel band

This place was absolutely amazing. The band and the steel pan were my favorites 😍 the jerk chicken was absolutely delicious and flavorful. The views? Priceless. It was super crowded when I went with the group I hosted which affected how we'd maneuver around and also if we'd have a seat to eat. We overall enjoyed the experience here at Shirley lookout.

Best views on the island, lovely food and the bar service was great. We went on a Thursday which is quieter than the Sunday. 11 piece Halcyon Steel band who were exceptional as always and another band who were also very good.

I really enjoyed the experience visiting this beautiful overlook! It was a highlight of our tour and it was well worth the drive to get here! Definitely recommend visiting if you’re visiting Antigua!

A lovely place to visit to view the sunset, listen to a steel band playing music, BBQs serving local food, and bars dishing out rum punches, it is a bit of a tourist spot. We went on a Sunday evening, and while enjoyable, it got busy from 5:00 pm. Family-friendly. $10 entry - $10 for a large rum punch.

We had a great experience up at Shirley Heights. We chose to go on a Thursday, hoping for a smaller crowd. There was a great atmosphere through the entire afternoon and evening. A few market stalls and a gorgeous view greet you. The steel band is absolutely fabulous, as it's the food and the other band. Beautiful sunset over Montserrat, bit of dancing, soaking up that Caribbean vibe 🌺🥳🌄🍹
