If your thinking about bidding on a “free” vacation at a charity event DONT! This is a scam in my opinion. Buying the “vacation” only gives you ability to call a 1-800 number a book like any other resort. These reviews are all fake. Don’t do it you will be misled and your “free” vacation will cost you thousands. When I called and inquired the “all inclusive” resort was going to cost our family $6,000 + not including air fare. Call a legitimate travel company instead and DO NOT BUY THIS AT A AUCTION!

My husband and I stayed at Hammock Cove while attending a wedding this summer in Antigua. We had a wonderful time. We ate, rested, made friends, explored the property and liked that we got to visit Devil’s bridge. We also liked that the owner frequents the property and even provided us with help as we needed to direct our taxi where to go. I’m into details and I will say that the property is in impeccable condition and everyone goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant. I enjoyed the English breakfast, beach barbecue and Korean cuisine the best. Make sure you visit with someone you like because it’s a bit secluded so this is not a property to go to meet people and it’s great for couples! It’s about 40 minutes from Jolly Beach or Shirley Heights so be prepared to pay $80 round trip for transportation or rent a car.

We were there the last week of March 2023 with our newly wed daughter and son-in-law. The weather was perfect and the resort was over the top! Our ambassadors, Kadeem and Darryl, were so attentive as were the maid staff and the "mini bar staff". All you had to do was ask and they made sure it happened! We especially enjoyed Erik, bartender @ Nobody Knows Rum Bar, he greeted us by name each night and even found time to play darts with my Husband when the bar was empty. Linda, our breakfast waitress, was so friendly and was known for making the best banana splits! The rooms were spacious with the most comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom was massive with a double rain shower! We spent a lot of time on the patio enjoying the breezes, the chirping birds and our pool . We would relax there after being on the beach all day and before dinner. The food was amazing at the Lighthouse Restaurant -5 star ! . Chef Marco and Troy came by our table each night making sure everything was perfect which it always was. Be sure to take a trip on the Calypso Cat. They pick you up right at the resort dock. It is also another way to meet the other guests. We were fortunate to have a really good group that week! Captain Noel was very informative about the island and all of the different estates. They took us all around the island and to a couple of great snorkeling areas where we saw a lot of turtles and fish. We also used Eagle Discovery Tours for our airport transport. That is a must !! Book ahead of time and they meet you right off the plane, take you down on an elevator and usher you through customs and into a car in record time. I had read about it in a Hammock Cove review and was so glad we took advantage of that service. We told our daughter we were glad we were our age instead of hers because for the rest of her life she will always compare her vacations to this one and there is NO COMPARISON!

We went to this resort and just returned yesterday after a wonderful 6 day stay. We were with 3 other couple and we had just an amazing experience. Our ambassadors Leon and Sheldon were super accommodating. The resort was clean and the food was delicious!! My only recommendation is in the rooms to put fans on the patios so you can sit outside on your patio with the soaking pool even when it’s hot. There is no where to sit in the rooms and when it’s too hot the patio in each room becomes to hot to relax on!

This place is amazing!!! This has been our first time coming to Antigua and the resort was more than accommodating!! The staff was very welcoming, and made our stay remarkable!! The food and drinks are exceptional!!! Master chef Marco is an unbelievable chef!! The food was exquisite ❤️ The manager Troy from the lighthouse was an amazing man! Very sincere about his guests, the owner should be very proud of him and how hard he works!! And then there’s Leon, the ambassador, what a kind soul ❤️ He was above and beyond for us. This has by far been the best experience of our lives. And thanks to all the staff for being so kind ❤️ We will officially be here every year for our anniversary here on out… thank you all for such a wonderful honeymoon… may the grace of god be with you all ❤️ Love, Carmine & Cortney

This resort was over the top perfect for what we wanted and that was to rest, relax and go off the grid. The ambassadors were great. Anytime we called they answered and mad certain we were taken care of. We had breakfast and lunch delivered to the room each day and the ambassadors always made our dinner reservations. The unobstructed ocean view from our room was the perfect way to wake up every day. Mini bar was stocked every day and the cleaning staff was on point. If you want to get away and just relax and be pampered you need this place.

Exceeded our expectations. The view of our room was incredible, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and Devil's Bridge. The food was fantastic too; we at all of our dinners at the Lighthouse with the exception of Monday night which was sushi night. Lunch was ordered and delivered to our beachside chairs. I had the best grilled garlic lobster in my entire life. We had an amazing time and highly recommend it to anyone considering! Have to give a shoutout to Nigel. Best bartender on the property.

Thank you to all the hotel staff that made our trip exceptional. Not a frequent all inclusive person as the experiences are usually sub par but that wasn’t the experience at Hammock and would definitely recommend Hammock as one of the best all inclusives. Not one request was too much for the team. The rooms with waterfront views are as good as the beachfront! Every room has its dip pool and extremely large rooms. Let’s talk about the food. All to order 24- hours. No buffet tables and everything was made to order and fresh. The breakfasts were fantastic and the dinners I didn’t think could get better. The tasting menu was exceptional. The only minor fault is the location. For people who want to travel around Antigua it’s just 30 mins away from other parts of the island. Renting a car was another easy thing the hotel was able to organize. This is only applicable those who want to get off the resort. The beach is small as its man made so getting off the resort to check out the magical beaches on the island is highly recommend.

My husband and I had an amazing week at Hammock Cove! All of the staff was so friendly. Our ambassadors, Darryl and Kadeem, did a wonderful job. The food and drinks were outstanding, delicious food at the Lighthouse restaurant every night. We had the best seafood risotto I have ever tasted! Stacy was our waitress most evenings and she was just so welcoming and kind, as was Troy who greeted us every night! The room was comfortable and spacious with an amazing double shower. The plunge pool and stocked mini bar were perfect touches!

I ultimately don't understand the reviews. The place is very pretty and its awesome having your own pool. The service is very medium, the food is below medium. Certainly not michelin star as advertised. I don't have anything terrible to say. I have been on a lot of vacations in high and medium price ranges. This was high price range and medium price quality at best. I would say slightly below. Most 5 star all inclusives in mexico or DR are a quarter the price for significantly better food and service. Just so medium. Dont drop $10-$15k on this place. I would range it $4k with flights or you are throwing out money and can get a better spot. It is very private which is cool but the food is barely edible outside of their 1 restaurant and thats place was ok.

We chose the Hammock Cove Resort to celebrate a very special wedding anniversary. Our expectations were not only met but went beyond. The resort was everything we imagined and much more. Our villa and our view was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere at the resort was very relaxing which was exactly what we were looking for. The food and drinks were exceptional on every level, regardless of the time of day. The staff at the resort were all wonderful, they were all very friendly, accommodating, selfless and hardworking. Thank you to all. A special thank you to our 2 ambassadors Leon and Sheldon who were always there to ensure that our time at the Hammock Cove was perfect! Troy, Collet, Linda, Priscilla, Azsa, Julio, Hector and Eric were also a big part of our experience. Last but definitely not least thank you to the very classy Mr Marco Festini, Culinary Director. Your hard work, passion and dedication is very admirable. Needless to say after this incredible experience there is no doubt that we will be back! Mary and Bobby (Villa 10 May 20th to May 27th 2023)

Once upon a time, my wife and I embarked on a magical Antiguan adventure. Our loyal visits to the stunning Galley Bay Resort led us to its sister haven, Hammock Cove, for a five-night escape. Little did we know, we were about to be swept away on a wave of unparalleled experiences. When we arrived, Hammock Cove embraced us with open arms, pampering us with extraordinary service and culinary delights that surpassed all expectations. A special mention goes to Head Chef Alexander and Irina's Bistro Chef Sylvester, who graciously catered to my wife's vegan needs. Chef Alexander ensured a vegan option was available at the Lighthouse Restaurant every night, even surprising us with custom-made vegan sushi rolls. When our flight was delayed, Chef Sylvester ensured my wife had a delightful vegan breakfast and a memorable farewell meal. But the true magic lay within the incredible staff. From the intuitive Head Ambassador Shelton and the attentive Ambassador Leon to the warm smiles of Tasscia and Ferris at Irina's Bistro, everyone went above and beyond. Restaurant Manager Lorenzo's impeccable taste and Gabriel's rum expertise added extra sparkle to our stay. The beach staff, led by Hector, kept our glasses full and our safety a priority. And who could forget the unforgettable duo of Head Maitre'D Troy and server Priscilla, who made dining at the Lighthouse Restaurant an experience like no other. Hammock Cove Resort dazzled us with its superb service, remarkable cuisine, and delightful atmosphere. Despite a small beachfront and bumpy access road, our journey was a dream come true. Memories of this enchanting escape will forever hold a cherished place in our hearts.

Absolutely beautiful resort! We were served excellent food, with amazing views of turquoise waters and sunsets from our room. Our ambassadors Sheldon and Leon were wonderful to us. They kept us well informed of local and resort activities. We loved the water sports available: kayaking, hobie cat sailing, snorkeling, and Devils bridge just a short 5 minute walk. There is usually a special dining event every day, our favorite was the beach BBQ with steel drums. Our room was kept immaculate by staff, with a comfortable king bed and plenty of towels. We truly enjoyed our stay! It was relaxing, gorgeous, and so much fun! I also loved the tree frogs singing at night and being surrounded by beautiful foliage and other wildlife. I highly recommend. You can choose however you'd like to spend your vacation-- whether relaxing or being active, with plentiful, yummy food available.

I went here for my wedding ! I have never had a more fantastic experience. The staff ( for the most part ) are friendly and generous . The food was amazing !! The villas are incredible! Also I did a “free wedding” - I seriously couldn’t of asked for something more beautiful. They went all out for us. The only reason it’s four stars and not five is because of the very odd/scary Pink Panther tour. When our travel agent booked it , the website listed numerous places to go - that were all included in the price . Then we get to hammock cove & one ( only one ) employee tells us there is all this additional money involved . We had no idea what was going on. We paid because we were excited . Well the tour took us for ($200 a couple ) 2 places - one of which when you walk in it just a bunch of people yelling at you to buy their products . I felt sooooo unsafe . We got back and did relay this to the resort , and we received our money back . But still it was very odd coming from such a high end resort . Everything & everyone else was perfections . We will be back.

I wish I could give this resort ten stars. The resort was beautiful. The staff is so friendly. The villa was gorgeous. We stayed 7 days for our honeymoon and we wish we could have stayed longer. The service was top tier and the food was phenomenal. If you want complete relaxation with zero worries, this is the place to stay.

We had the most amazing time at Hammock Cove! Every person was so friendly, lively, accommodating, and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing trip! Our Ambassadors, Kenya and Deveny, provided extraordinary service, so great!! Every person that we encountered were so good to us! -Lorenzo, Jose, Juan, David, Gabriel, Andre, great service at all of the bars, all the cafe gals, the beach crew and water sports, Calypso Cat, the lovely spa, room service, fine dining, chef Marco, and all of the daily activities were amazing!! We felt very safe and overall do not have a single negative thing to say! Absolutely loved our trip and hoping to return in 2023!

Wow. What an incredible time we had! The staff was incredible - Leon, Andre, Erick, Joel, Gabriel, Deveney, Lorenzo, Julio, etc. etc. EVERYONE - from their above and beyond service to their incredible kindness - getting to know them was just one of the highlights of the trip. Everything is fresh, including the cocktails which I couldn't get enough of. Try Joel's spicy margarita! The staff also gives great recommendations on what to do outside of the resort, so if you want to venture off be sure to ask them where to go! The rooms are incredible and CLEAN. The food was great and I loved the variety each day! You won't be disappointed coming here. I'm not one to want to visit a resort twice, but I can't wait to come back to this one!

This was our first trip to Hammock Cove. It was a beautiful property and the staff worked hard to make certain our stay was one of the best ever. The beach staff works hard to deliver food and drinks outside. This was the first time the chef served caviar at the beach and it was a great success. Gabriel had several drink mixes at the rum bar to taste - sweet, tart, etc. which was awesome. Sophia at the Lighthouse and Linda at breakfast made us feel special everyday. Leon was a great ambassador and Lorenzo remembered us from another resort years ago by name. Rosario was great at welcoming us to the resort, answered all of our questions throughout our stay. It is a wonderful place to relax and we will definitely be back.

Our stay at Hammock Cove was AMAZING, exactly the type of vacation we were hoping for. The resort has a relaxed feel without any loud or annoying night time entertainment. Our room had a spectacular view and a plunge pool that I didn't want to get out of. Sanjay and Alex made sure we had a great time here and made our stay significantly more enjoyable! The customer service, food and environment are exemplary! If I had to note one negative, our room did have a presence of cockroaches that mostly came out at night, but I think that would be hard to contain in a resort environment where guests can and probably do leave their room doors open. I would 100% recommend this resort to anyone looking for a relaxing trip to recharge!
