Disappointing to say the least Came in today to have a quick lunch. I remembered that I had the tempura last time I ate here and it was decent. However, that is no longer the case. The dish was 90% batter that was unpleasantly chewy. I had to dig through each one only to find a sliver of shrimp. It costed PHP 450 and there was no way for them to justify the pricetag. Despite all of the renovations to the restaurant, the food has unfortunately declined over the years. Maybe next time Kaya should renovate their food because they definitely wont be seeing me eat there anymore!

2023 update. Great tasting Korean food at an affordable price. Unli appetizers and Galbi-tang beef soup a must try! Service is commendable. This branch has a "Cafekaya" that offers several coffee drink selections and desserts. Parking is limited.

Kaya is an old reliable, but showing it’s age. It’s more value for money as the prices are okay, but I’m surprised by reviews saying it’s one of the best in town as it’s been superseded by the many Korean restaurants that have opened in past years at various price points. Tried the Kaya salad and it was severely underwhelming, like a fast food salad put together from what was available, in this case lettuce with an uninspired sesame dressing and tomato and apple slices. The standbys grilled mackerel and ginseng chicken soup are good but not great. The appetizers are good but newer, more upscale places have more interesting selections.

Sides and main dishes were great. You can request them hot tea and cold tea. Servers were very kind.

Surprised by the taste and price. The taste is better than any other restaurants. And service is excellent. And the price is not expensive at all. Taste, price and service~ highly recommend if you are looking for good Korean restaurant.

Our family's favorite Korean restaurant. We have been coming to this restaurant for over 15 years and I have to admit that it has been constantly improving. Every meal here starts off with lots of appetizers - kimchi, bean sprouts, sweet potato, spinach, fishcake and more. And they will refill if you ask for more. We then usually order the steamed Mandu dumplings and either the seafood panjeon pancake or the oyster omelet. I then order the Hwe Bibimbap which is rice and vegetabkes made with raw tuna and uni. My eldest son usually has the octopus stew and my daughter the Galbi Chim rib stew. We also usually order various types of beef barbecue and the pork samgyupsal Dessert is Melona ice cream and fresh fruits.

The Korean food at Kaya is more traditional and classic in the sense that what you see is what you get. My favorite dish was the Yukhoe which not many restaurants serve, and the cold noodles were also quite good. The staff was friendly, nice and very attentive. The decor of the restaurant remain the same after all these years.

Fantastic food. Highly recommend the ojingo bokkum (squid) with spicy sauce and rice cake, soondubu soft tofu soup, japchae noodles, pancakes (perilla leaf especially!), and the yukhoe (carpaccio with pear and sesame sauce). Super authentic food and great service!!

Accepts cash and card payments. Accessible to the elderly using a walker. 2nd floor has private rooms. Well lit interiors with tables that allow you to hold large groups of 5-15. The common ground floor is best for the elderly. Authentic and delicious Korean food without the smokey Korean bbq grill atmosphere. Has a coffee bar and a Melona ice cream cooler. Don't forget that the Korean side dishes are complimentary and refillable.

We placed a reservation for a room and we werw surprised that they didn't require a deposit/down payment and yet the room was gorgeous, air-conditioned and spacious! All of the food were delicious! The managers were so nice. There's a Korean mini mart downstairs.

One of the best authentic korean restuarant in the town. The food is excellent in very reasonable price. Staffs are kind and accomodating specially the guard in parking area, he was so kind and his cheerfulness is very contagious. You don't have to worry about the parking because they also have vallet parking which convenient for the customer. They also have rooms if you like to eat with privacy maybe good for 25-30 persons. And what i like the most is their free tooth brush in the comfort room. Really superb and impressive service. Highly recommended!!

The staff at the restaurant were super friendly and accommodating. Oh, and I must mention, the toilet was dirty. some parts of the floor was wet. However, something seemed off about the taste of their food. Maybe it's because they changed management too. But hey, overall, I'd still give it a thumbs up and recommend it.

I was brought here by a friend who said it's the best Korean restaurant in town (Makati area). Not sure about that but the food is excellent! Usual spread of little dishes (kimchi, beansprouts, green stuff, fish cake, ...) and we ordered some dishes to share. Also a bottle of soju and some tea. The dishes were octopus in a slightly spicy sauce, BBQ-ed beef ribs, and a seafood pancake. Little dishes were as expected. Free flow as well and the kimchi was good but not as spicy as I expected. The fish cake was well marinated though and went great with the soju. The octopus was super tasty and cooked just right. Easy to bite but still with a nice chew on it. The beef was cooked before serving (so not the Korean BBQ style) but beefy taste and quite tender. The seafood pancake was delicious. I've eaten this in many countries including Korea and this ranks up there with the best of them. Overall, a bit too much for two pax but we polished off everything anyway! Will definitely return if I have time.

A very good Korean restaurant in Makati. It's a cut above the others around here. Very clean, spacious, excellent service and pretty good food. Tried the haemul paejeon and soft tofu stew, my benchmarks to evaluate any Korean restaurant and this one passed the test! The paejeon here is very light and not doughy and seems more egg based - think crispy omelette with seafood! Had a lot of green onion but very little seafood though. The seafood soft tofu stew was very good though lacking in seafood - two clams and bits of calamari was all but the taste was awesome. The banchan side dishes were the standouts - particularly the kimchi and eggplant. If you find yourself in Makati craving Korean, this place should be first on your list!

Dined here a couple of times before the the pandemic and Kaya never disappoint. They are very generous with their side dishes and will offer to refill if you'd like. This branch is along Jupiter Street, Makati City. Parking can be challenging during lunch and dinner time but the friendly kuya guard is always there to help. Parking can accommodate 8 cars. When we last visited, Kaya now has a new look. They have converted half of their restaurant to a Korean grocery store. I think a lot of people like that because I saw a couple of people going out of the store eating Korean ice cream with smiles on their faces. Nice!

Food is good. Private function rooms ar 2nd floor are available for family/friends' gathering. Parking can be difficult, so consider other parking lots nearby. Korean grocery is available at the ground floor.

I have always been satisfied with this korean restaurant, because of it traditional taste, but today I felt strongly upset, I saw a scene first time in my life, the staff poured the sauce into a toothpick then it just took on my table??I questioned at once but the manager showed no surprise on his face! And the quality of foods is going downhill.I wondered if the owner knew how bad his/her restaurant had turning into.
