The
Lake
is
very
nice.
It
is
surrounded
by
mountains
and
forests.
The
lake
water
is
warm
and
the
wind
is
cold.
If
you
love
to
be
with
and
within
the
nature
then
you
should
give
Yambo
Lake
a
visit.
Or
shall
I
say
"Yambulik",
as
the
locals
call
it.
In
some
days
it
can
be
over
crowded.
A
great
way
to
meet
new
friends
from
different
parts
of
Laguna
and
Manila.
Just
don't
forget
to
bring
your
facemask
;).
For
backpackers
and
for
"budgetarians"
I
suggest
you
bring
your
own
snacks
and
drinks,
as
food
sold
there
can
be
somewhat
expensive.
But
if
you
want
to
support
the
local
business
there,
they
offer
varieties
of
food
and
snacks
from
"tuhog-tuhog"
like
fishballs
and
"kwek-kwek"(egg
waffle),
to
"Pares-Mami"(braised
beef
or
pork
sometimes
with
noodles),
and
"ihaw-ihaw"(grilled
pork
chops,
and
fish).
Make
sure
to
bring
extra
cash
as
the
price
of
these
delectables
can
be
as
twice
as
it
is
on
your
hometown.
The
lake
and
the
mountains
are
definitely
a
5/5
star
rating.
The
whole
experience?
I'd
go
for
3.5
to
4/5.
Still
worth
a
visit
if
you're
exploring
Philippines'
"hidden
gems".
Ride
your
motorbikes
or
moutainbikes
and
crank
up
your
data
and
let
Google
Maps
take
you
there.
