The hotel is in a good location. Room (king suite) was as advertised and had a large comfortable bed. Bathroom was modern and pleasant. Restaurant and restaurant staff are also wonderful with a great selection on the menu. Improvements: Room service menu differs from restaurant menu, bit limited. Check in lady was asked whether spa facilities needed to be booked in advance. She said no but turned out to be incorrect. There is only one masseur on site, so can't both have massages at the same time. Probably the result of a lack of demand, so perhaps the only suggestion that cannot be implemented.

Comfortable rooms with beautiful views and delicious buffet breakfast. The only thing I would change is the availability of power outlets by the desk - it would be nice if plugs were easily accessible.

The hotel and the service are quite good, standards above others in the area, although the hotel can use some modernizing, such as international wall plugs in the rooms, a gym, wash clothes, English speaking tv channels, etc.

The Terrado Suites Antofagasta is a modern hotel and arguably, the best hotel in town. Location: 30 minutes from the airport, next to the only mall in town and within walking distance from downtown Antofagasta. The hotel seats at a small bay in the Chilean Pacific Ocean. Rooms: I've only staid in the regular rooms, however every room has a view. The room is basic, with a closet, fridge, safe, TV, balcony, AC, washroom with a shower. Keep in mind this is the driest desert in the world, so try not to waste water (short showers, reuse towels, etc.). The room lacks of an iron, coffee maker and a microwave oven (this last one I don't mind). Hotel amenities: Next to the lobby, there is a terrace to enjoy the sea views while sipping a pisco sour or having dinner. On the far end of the terrace there is an infinity pool (swim caps are required and provided). On the underground level there is a SPA with an indoor pool, two saunas and massage rooms. Staff: The staff in general is great, very accommodating and helpful across the board. Food: The Casablanca restaurant is the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant has plenty of great food and drink options. The best panko tuna I've had was here. The mall next door has a food court and several other restaurants in case you want more options. Cons: Antofagasta is not a tourist destination, so if you are here it is most likely you're here on business. There is not much to do in the city. Also, the lower copper prices had taken a toll on the local economy and in the service industry is probably one of the most affected ones. Some small repairs are overdue. One of the elevators is broken and some small cosmetic repairs are evident, but the hotel is in good shape. The low tides also attract some vultures that fish in the bay. They tend to stand in the edge of the pool and drink water from it. They can also land in the umbrellas. Every day, local kids walk into the bay and sit underneath the hotel's terrace and drink and smoke pot for a couple of hours, so you get some of the second hand smoke through the floor.

Good hotel, with a very nice view. They serve an amazingly good grilled octopus in the restaurant.

Excellent food. Very Good Service by Chilean standards (served by a Peruvian though) but quite expensive. Only if you are on expenses, wealthy or its a special night out, is it a place to go. View from the balcony:

Good service. Large room. Rather austere. Nothing on the walls, no carpet. Minimalist shower. No nose tissues or lotion in bathroom.

Great rooms, great hosting, beautiful views. Just almost none vegan options for food and breakfast

Fantastic hotel in all aspects. The pricing wasn't bad considering the quality. I will definitely stay here for future trips to Antofagasta.
