Aqua Park great fun for kids. Only downside is that attention to rubbish/cleanliness in general areas before it becomes run down looking! Cleaners/Ground staff required to pay attention to this, signs, more bins and a bit more attention to detail required by Senior Staff. I think the sections could be better marked by ropes or colours, kids missed some slides! Or a map at beginning/video! Apart from that they had fun!

Great day out, would recommend to friends. Definitely more enjoyable than a gym workout but definitely the same muscles being worked. Great for work do's or large groups. The aqua park just keeps growing which is great to see. Only negative point would be the wetsuits. Some of them could do with being thrown out, as they are badly ripped and worn. Also, hot showers would make the changing scene after the fact a lot more bearable. Some of the changing cabins could do with being cleaned between sessions as there were fake nails and rubbish lying on the ground to step on. Could benefit from extra staff in all areas. Which I know is hard to come by at the moment but possibly reduce the number of people per time slot if you have the bare minimum staff. Nice to see something different to do in the area.

Beautiful place to stay with family and friends. We stayed in 3 different types of accommodation and loved them all. Such a tranquil place to wake up and really feels like you are miles outside the city (but only a 20 minute drive from our house in Belfast). The pizza restaurant was also great. Highly recommend!

Amazing place to take the family with lots to suit all ages. £23 a bit steep for an hour in the Aqua Park compared to other places but that includes your wet suit hire and your grippy socks. Plenty of staff to look after you and lots of changing facilities and toilets. Cafe on site with a good range of eats and drinks and not too expensive which is a nice surprise.

We enjoyed our visit here. We visited for the aqua park only and did not stay overnight or experience any other activities. Off the water, it felt a very professional set up with purpose built structures and smooth tarmac surfaces to walk on. On the water it was fun, but a few of the better activities were not open for unknown reasons (such as the slide that turns corners you can see in images). Also, they only let you use half the area for one hour and then move to the other area. This means they save on lifeguard costs but the areas you are allowed in are busier than they would be otherwise. They provide a cool little beach area, play area and paddle park for small children and any non participants which is good. We went to both outside water parks in Northern Ireland (the other nearer Coleraine and reviewed separately) and they both have pros and cons. This one is better off the water I would say. It is spacious and there are cubicles for changing so give some extra privacy if that bothers you. It's also better for small children to be kept entertained (although you do have to pay). We found this one ess exhilarating on the water, with less exciting things to play on and bigger queues for them also. Let's go Hydro equipment also felt a bit older and not quite in as good condition. Both were fun but for me personally if I have to choose one for action packed adrenaline the other one is better. This one may suit groups with a small child that can be kept entertained. You will enjoy both.

Had a fun day enjoying with friends and it did take us an entire day to cover all the activities - swim, slides and jumps. Along with that some adventure activities like knee boarding. Very well managed and staff were always helpful and patient. Totally stress free experience. Food at the uphill restaurant took a bit of time to be served but was wonderful. If you are taking the bus from Belfast, buy a return ticket to Manse road, bus stops to and from are right outside the park.

Bought the day pass. The weather was a little cold when i went there. Safety measures were done well. The wetsuit can be wet so i recommend wearing a swimsuit underneath for hygiene purposes. There was food and drinks selling as well.

Had a birthday party for 10 girls booked on Saturday 18th June. The place was very busy, but we were greeted at check in by name, and escorted to our own reserved area. The gentleman dealing with our party was great and explained all the timings and where we needed to be and when. He kept checking in with us throughout our 3 hours there. Food (pizza and chips, drinks and ice cream) was excellent - on time and freshly prepared. Totally stress free experience. Thoroughly recommended. Will definitely book again for our next party.

I have attended the Halloween fireworks 2023 today and I have been disappointed beyond belief. Anyone considering this event with small children I strongly advise to stay clear of this. Other than parking not once have we been asked for our tickets which were prices for 2 adults and 2 kids. There was literally 3 things in the whole resort. First was a barn laid out with straw and pumpkins which had a band. There was another tent in which there was 4 food vans with few picnic tables. It's important to highlight that everything was a minimum 5 minute walk distance from each other so not close. The place was overcrowded with 30 minute queues for any type of food or beverage. No staff were able to point us in any direction or advise where to look for things/entrances etc. They were clueless. Not one place to comfortably hide from the bad weather. Especially with small kids. My toddler was cold, with no changing area in sight and no staff being able to point it out. The food was poor. Bonfire was small and again quite a walk away from the barn. Everything inside was expensive and the money spent included nothing other than the fireworks display. The ground was mucky and impossible for a pram to pass. We left as soon as the fireworks were over and I am sure to say I will never do this again.

Been here a few times in groups. Great fun for kids and adults too. Wetsuits and lifejackets supplied for the Aqua park and other water activities. Aqua park is good fun. Paid a little more to do Stand Up Paddle boarding too. Good fun. Expect to waken up sore the next day when you realise you’ve used muscles you didn’t know you had! Would recommend. Kids also used the small kids splash area which they enjoyed.

We went for the jaws on the water experience, we got the last session in the inflatable park and then got a hotdog before the movie, I recommend at reception you ask for locker lock (cost of £3 extra) The only problem I had was when we were watching jaws the wind was blowing the rubber rings down into the inflatable park and a lifeguard kept shouting at us try and stay up here (here being at the screen) but due to elements out of my control I had to abandon my rubber ring or I would have ended up at the other end of the inflatable park, I suggest they cordon the screening area off a bit better to avoid viewers drifting to the other end of the park and also brief viewers of what to do if they loose their rubber rings instead of shouting at them when they have lost it in the water. We didn't stay for the whole movie due to the weather getting worse it wasn't enjoyable to stay, though we will be back.

We stayed for 2 nights at one of the Viking Huts. The accommodation manager Rob went above and beyond during our stay and is a real credit and asset to the place. The hut was lovely! Bed was very comfortable, the hot tub was great, it was nice and quiet. The spa was a great experience and the food in the restaurant was good. Staff were so friendly. We honestly loved our stay and will definitely be back. Really recommend people stay and find out for themselves.

Absolutely loved it and so did my kid. We both had day passes and I would highly recommend getting them. Did a session on the inflatables then some knee boarding. My child did 2 aqua park sessions, kneeboarding and we then paid for a wakeboarding session. She loved it so much and was just smiling the whole time. Peter was such a kind instructor. He gave my child so much confidence and she got up and managed to fit a few tricks in on her first lesson. Would highly recommend every aspect of this place. We are going to definitely come back and do a weekend whilst staying in the lodges at the place.

Took my niece and nephew to the pumpkin patch today, the girl who greeted us at the front desk was so lovely….and we were actually an hour early. Every single activity was amazing. The kids had a ball and so did I. The whole day was just brilliant! I can’t wait to come back!

Super place!!! Been to the water park and the drive in cinema and both times staff have been so happy to help and very polite. The bouncy castles are soooo fun and everything feels very safe and well run by the staff. The drive in cinema was sooooo cool, the first time we had been to that sort of thing and the food truck was so cute! And cool! We came in late and was the last to park up so I thought we wouldn’t have a great spot but the parking people guarantee everyone is spaced out and you’ll have a super view regardless. Pizza was also class according to my boyfriend but I couldn’t eat it because it wasn’t vegan. Would like more dietary options please, hence the loss of a star. Loses a star also because it doesn’t have shower facilities so when we came out of the water park I was disappointed to be leaving feeling…not super fresh.

We had Rauri as our instructor for the Wake Boarding and what an amazing experience we had. So kind and encouraging and we had a blast. We went as a hen party and I would highly recommend this place. This is my second time here and there is still lots more for me to do here. And they keep adding on so many more activities. One or its kind in Northern Ireland

Went to the drive in cinema last night. Paid £25. Have to say very overpriced. The "sharing" pizza is tiny and was basically baked dough with tomato puree all over it. we never got the sharing bottle of juice that we were supposed to get either and they gave us one tiny bag of popcorn, the bags you would get in a multipack. it had about 10 bits of popcorn in it if even 10. We arrived half an hour early as advised and were on the front row only for late comers to be then parked infront of us. They should have asked the front row to move forward in my opinion. The car that was parked infront of us kept hitting their brake lights too which was annoying. Didn't see any photographer either. Not bothered about not getting my picture taken but they shouldn't advertise it.

Great fun. Exhausting on the arms and you definitely need to be young or fit. Sadly one child was unsupervised and gave me concussion when she came down a slide immediately after me and crashed into my neck. Her family were less than polite and took no responsibility. The centre makes it very clear U16s are to be supervised so certainly not their fault. So, to people with young children. Please supervise them or at least make them aware of the rules. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The manager was excellent and you could tell had motivated his team well. We will definitely be back.

I brought a school group here yesterday. Well what a treat! The staff on the water and in the cafe were very friendly and helpful. 'Best school trip ever' was one comment. The equipment, the wetsuits, the water, the buoyancy aids - all were in top condition and very reasonably priced. We will definitely return.

Fantastic day spent here. All staff so friendly and helpful. They seemed genuinely happy to be working there, which is rare these days. Both myself and the kids had a great day. Words of wisdom, bring some chaffing cream as the life jackets can rub under the chin area if a little loose fitting.

Pros: - Staff were friendly. - BBQ worked, Hot Tub had good temperature. - Area is nice to walk around. Cons: - Lack of toiletries in room, shampoo and shower gel not provided. - Provided guides using incorrect/out of date info including no clarification on what rooms use gas or wood powered heating for tubs, missing gate codes, no opening times for the Sea Container Cafe which says is open for breakfast but isn't open till 12pm. - Guest WiFi was down across the entire site, but when we called about this the staff member on the phone claimed theirs worked just fine even when the outage was confirmed by their colleague. - Heating in the hut was temperamental and required a full restart so the radiator could cool down. - Checking out supposedly required an inspection and they provided minimal tools to clean the room. However, when we rang they just said we were fine to go and ignored their own procedure, while also confusing our hut with another that had a key (the Viking huts do not have a key, only a padlock). - Logs and fire starters provided, but no matches or lighters to actually start the fire until we rang in again. - Shower had mold in it when we arrived. - No clarification on supposed extra perks such as the 2x Adult Admission to the Spa that we could not avail of before leaving. Summary: Seems like a lot of teething issues that should have been ironed out much sooner post COVID. Enjoyed myself in spite of the cons but would not recommend staying unless heavily discounted.

We were also at the fireworks display tonight, and all we seen was a bonfire, fireworks and food stalls. Food was mostly sold out but what we got we can’t complain about. We drove just over an hour to get there. We didn’t see any children’s entertainment, no signs on the trails to show the best route or where to go. We basically dandered around, seen nothing and left with 3 disappointed kids. Had to buy one of the kids a £10 balloon they where selling to make up for it which ended up on the ground in pieces in less than a minute.. really not worth the drive for us unfortunately.

Myself and my partner visited Let’s Go Hydro Resort on the 31st of October for the Halloween Night Fireworks Display and it exceeded our expectations! The event was so well organised from start to finish, getting parked was really quick despite the busyness of the event, the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the food was really lovely (we had pizza). There were lots of stalls to choose from and the place had an overall buzz to it with most people dressed up for the Halloween costume competition. The fireworks display was incredible and we are already looking forward to next years event! :)
