Family run top tier Restaurant. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Offering some of best Indian food in Northern Ireland it never has disappointed and I look forward to each and every visit. Caters really well for vegans too, just make sure and ask for no Paneer in your dish. They have Indian beer on tap too, if that's your thing! ☺️

I have been here a few times and always enjoy what I ordered. The service is excellent even when it is busy. The food is full of flavor and the lamb is very tender. The prices are reasonable. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for good curry dishes.

The food was delicious and the order arrived within a timely manner. I ordered the Patia with King Prawn. The dish was sweet and spicy which was a lovely combination.

With the view to the Carrickfergus castle - the food choices are amazing with a friendly staff and big assortment of Indian cuisine at reasonable prices . Highly recommended

First visit here, for lunch - 14.95 3 course menu- very good food (especially the chilli nan I ordered!) Would recommend trying it out!

Our anniversary today so we had a takeaway from Mayur . I must say Dev , his Son & staff are fantastic. We had chicken puri starter and chicken dopiatsa and chicken rogan josh. Food was fantastic. Absolutely love the Mayhur food. 5 stars from me . 👏👏👏 Thanks Dev.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. It was my first visit Thursday lunchtime and it was quite busy which is usually a good sign. The staff were very friendly and courteous and I was seated and had my order taken reasonably quickly. I went for the three course lunch special at a touch under thirteen pounds. It turned out to be a great choice starter of chicken pakora was delicious and a generous portion for the price. Had a main of chicken madras with pilau rice again very well presented and spicy as I like my curry. Ice cream to finish the staff were attentive without being too intrusive and asked me if I had a good meal the answer was a resounding yes. I will return again as soon as I can possibly for the early bird menu in the evening which is also great value. Would recommend this place try it you will be happy that you did.

Best Indian Restaurant in the wider area... I don't know anywhere where you would get the service and sublime food tasting experience that the Mayur brings... it is something else. I know people who travel from Holywood Co. Down to dine-in here, it really is that good.

Please read first before judging the stars. Hard to summarise all these aspects when I had no service what so ever. Restaurant was completely empty. I was sat down with a menu straight away. No drinks orders taken and then nothing............no service at all. I decided to leave and that was the cue for the wait staff to suddenly take interest. Not good enough, I can't remember another time that I got up and left a restaurant for this reason. On the flip side the place I went to instead gave great service. So for the star rating, service deserves no stars, it was non existant. The food, sadly, I didn't get to try so ignore the one star rating. I can't rate it, but I really wanted to. I can't select anything else so not an appropriate rating system. Atmosphere... No one else in there and not relevant to me. Ignore the rating.

Generous portion sizes, their vindaloo is to die for. The young girl on the takeout desk is lovely . I travel 20 miles to get a takeout from here it's that good.

We had good time in the Mayur Restaurant. Food served with extra care. Kids enjoyed delicious food. Must visit place.

The food is delicious and the restaurant spotless although the staff albeit pleasant and helpful are not very cheerful. Lacks a little in atmosphere. Also if you like a sauvignon blanc do not go for the house wine as it is really not good 😖

Second time I've had dinner here once in November 21 and today 17/01/22 Once again the service was excellent, the food was piping hot well presented and on time as I only had a short time until it was served.. The staff are polite and friendly, and the restaurant is clean and fresh and well presented.

Thee best in town. Very friendly staff eager to help in any way. We always get what they recommend on the day, this has helped us try different dishes we wouldn't have before. Never had a bad meal
