I read rave reviews, so maybe I just got them on an off night? Main problem was the food was incredibly salty. I had the hot butter cuttlefish with fried rice, the tandoori chicken and the garlic butter naan. The cuttlefish batter was so salty I couldn't enjoy the fish taste. The Tandoori chicken was decent, but definitely not what you get in India. I don't want to comment on the rice because I am not a lover of rice anyway. I just wanted to try it. It was also a bit salty. The garlic butter naan, though? ON POINT! 😍 Overall I felt like the prices were too high for the quality and quantity of food served. I will say, there is a cafe located inside the same restaurant that has amazing cakes, cookies and breads. Sandwiches and snacks, too, but I only tried the cupcake. A cookie and some bread. They were all very scrumptious! And the ladies working there were really helpful explaining the items to me! Anyway, the restaurant was lovely and very clean, so give it a whirl if you want.

Just ordinary food over priced because of the name of the place. The food quality is insanely horrible. You will get cold vegitable rice with 4 pieces of chicken in the so called "chicken fried rice". In a sea food fried rice there are 3-4 prawns with some random bites of cuttlefish pieces. Same goes with Nasi goren. Also, expect to wait around 1-1.5hrs for your food. Nevertheless, a better place for washrooms; clean and tidy. Attached: A Nasi goren.

You can meet this nice place before the Anuruddhapura main city. You can refresh with a great taste foods.

THE WORST PLACE to eat in Anuradhapura. Customer service is so bad we had to wait 30mins to order the food and another 1hr for the food to arrive. The food is okay. If you are planning to eat here, DON'T DO IT.

They arranged their Banquet Hall for our 51 groups to seat and dine. we could pre-arrange our lunch before coming. Thanks for everything.

Not recommended. Vegetable rice didn’t taste good, probably wasn’t fresh. Mango juice was good. Also brought me a bottle of free water which was nice.

An easy stop on your way to the north. A clean place that delivers food with hygiene on their mind. We ordered biriyanis and they were so delicious that the plate was half gone before a picture could be taken. The food tasted good but was very dry.

Tasty and quality foods in Anuradhapura. They have several food verities. All foods are cooked once after you place the order. So you have to wait small time to have food. But it is good. You can enjoy hot foods. Their service is also good. Parking area is not too big. But can manage with the help of the secretary guard. Their prices are reasonable. 10% service charge will be charged.

Foods were marvelous and the rice and curry is a beat option for lunch. Lot of vegetable items are provided. Very calm place for dinings and no rish for parking.

They took sometime to bring food we order but it was the BEST Nasi goreng I ever had in Sri Lanka. it was so fresh and we loved it. We order another 3 to take away immediately . it was that good. Bill is the proof

Worst place to stop for a quick fresh juice. We were on our way to Anuradhapura and stopped for a quick break. We ordered 3 Avocados and 2 Wood apples, in the catalog they have displayed that an avocado costs Rs.380 but they charged Rs.400 for each and only accepted the flaw after I showed them the price difference. Also after paying for the whole order they said that they don’t have any Wood Apple. So we ordered 5 Avocados. Bit later we got our juices but they tasted very dull and there was no avocados in it. It’s 70% water and 30% avocados. It’s like they have made all five juices using only one or two avocados. Adding one star cause otherwise I can’t post. Staff was also very rude and neither helpful nor friendly.

We had the paneer and chicken tikka masala accompanied with freshly made garlic naans. Both were delicious. The chicken was boneless.

The tea served to us was way too sweet, so make sure to ask to add less sugar unless you are a sweet tooth. Had koththu and paper dosai for dinner. Koththu was pretty salty. Seems it's common here (considering many reviews given to this place).

Nice and big restaurant. The best indian food in town. Everybody we asked told us to go there. We went there 4 days in a row. I would recommend the dosa, the naan bread and the vegetable or chicken korma. They serve a variety of delicous meals. The service is really good!

They need a good chef if they want to offer "Indian Cuisine". Our order of naan and paneer dishes were very bland.

Awesome place with great tasting food. The name says Indian Restaurant but Sri Lankan and chin food choices are also available. Not too oily, reasonable price, awesome service, live music in the evening, plenty of food options to choose from. Grate dessert options too. If you come to Anuradhapura or passing by try this place. Highly recommend.

It was a great place to stop over for a meal. However, this time I felt that overall quality has gone down. Business didn't look the same. Perhaps it is the impact of Covid19. But I don't understand why they cannot control flies inside the restaurant.

Convenient location. Went there for dinner around 7:30 in a weekend. Not much crowded. Ordered; Fried Chicken Cheese Kottu - Not spicy at all. Not much tasty also Butter garlic naan - No garlic in naan. Just a little brush of butter. Naan was burnt at some places Chicken Chettinad Curry - Just pre boiled chicken cubes dipped in a gravy. Gravy was thick but again not spicy though the waiter said so before we ordered Overall Food not good. Small portions Service - Good Place - Clean and modern

Good location for your meals. The resturent and wash/bathrooms areas are clean enough. Felt that number of waiters available are not enough. But could be due to any shift arrangement due to the this pandemic situation. Usually it will take around 15 minutes to ready your meal. Had delicious Cheese Naan.
