We booked it in advance and paid 15k. 13 of us took the long ride. When we arrived at Villu and went in, the dog stench was terrible. When we opened each room door the smell hit us like a tornado. We decided to find another place and asked Villu to refund part of our deposit. Villu refused. Please don't book this place if you want a nice clean place. It's dirty, smelly and unhygienic. I don't even want to give a single star to this place

Such a bad customer service. I called them to check the availability and they said rooms are available. I requested the account no. to book the rooms and they didn't send it. I tried calling them for two days yet they didn't pick up the calls. I had to find another place at the last moment.

Not recommended for Sri Lankans,coz they treat differently to locals and foreigners. The place is full of bad dog stinking, and barking its very disterbance. Pantry area is dirty. Owners' family also live there and they do not know how to welcome Sri Lankan guests. After visit the place we decided to find another place & forget our deposit money, very dissapointed & never recommend this place for any local. Please do not take any judgment just by looking their photos, coz its totally different from the reality!

Rooms are ok. Bathroom fittings need to be renovated. We stayed in family & triple rooms. So that might be the reason for those. Parking is the worst part of stay there. Customer service needs to be improved much more. Room cleanliness is ok but kitchen area is not. Not recommended for family but might be nice for couples.

Not recommended at all. I went with my family and booked 2 rooms. I'm quite sure that the owner's wife had opened my room and snooped around when we were out. Nothing was lost, but whoever who entered the room had forgotten to switch off the lights. That was scary. No privacy at all. There was another loud group that came in the evening and partying near the pool till 3 a.m., disturbing all of us. We got to know that they were known to the owners. Parking is a nightmare. Owners have parked inside, and we had to park outside. Had to reverse the vehicle to the main road to go out. Location is about away from the city centre. You will find much better places if you do your research Do not recommend this place at all.

Had a lovely stay with my extended family at this villa. Aravinda is a gracious host. He helped organise accomodation for my driver which had been a huge stress for me. His property is well located with a pool and comfortable air conditioned rooms. A good Sri Lankan style breakfast was also provided. Would stay again. Recommended!!

We (young couple) had a perfect stay here. The family was nice and warmly welcoming us, the room and especially the bathroom was exceptionally clean. (The host runs most of his home stay on renewable energy and uses electric cars, which you won't find often in Sri Lanka). Food, especially dinner was very good. We can totally recommend this homestay!

This is the right choice for visitors who are searching for a combination of charm, peace and quiet, and a convenient position from which to explore Anuradhapura. It is a small, comfortable place, situated near Anuradhapura town.The staff offer an attentive, personalized service and are always available to offer any help to guests. apart from the reception, there is a nice lounge where you can sit and drink tea. have a good Wi-Fiservice.

Five rooms available. 2 rooms downstairs and 3 rooms upstairs. AC available. linen not good. No tvs available. cleanliness , average. Overall rooms are OK. Common area is shared with the host family. We felt like intruders. Property is very small . Its only house, pool and parking space for 2 cars. Not recommended. However there is a small pool, kids enjoyed it and thats the reason we wnt there.

‘Think twice & shop around before you book.’ ➖ Bed rooms are dirty. German cockroaches are everywhere. Bed sheets were not washed. Hot water wasn’t available in upstair bathroom. Water in the swimming pool is dirty. Food is not fresh. She just heated up leftover from lunch.

A pool, large rooms, very friendly family that runs the homestay for a good price. Can't ask for more. When planning to cycle through the old town, ask if you can rent the tandem from the homestay. The locals really liked to see us bike around.

Friendly people and good place to stay. Very comfortable beds, good air con in the room and... Beers in the fridge (400rs for big bottle). So, back from a trip you can just jump on the pool and have a cold beer.
