I’ve had a hard time with this review, because of the low rating, but the one negative thing annoyed me so much. First the good things: - Owner is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful - Room is very nice and clean, bed is comfortable, shower is good. We were surprised that the room is so small, but that was our fault for not looking properly Negative: We were shocked how much we had actually paid when we looked at the bill (after we had already checked out). We assumed the bikes were free (since we were told to just take them after asking if they were for rent), but we were charged (more expensive than a scooter). For dinner a bottle of water was placed on our table (that we didn’t ask for), which we also assumed was included in the (not cheap) dinner price. On top of that a 10% service charge was added to everything (bottle of water, food, bicycles,…), which we’ve never had in a guesthouse or Homestay in Sri Lanka and about which we weren’t informed in advance. We ended up paying the equivalent of about 55$ for one day, with the room just being 19$. If you’re looking for a place to stay this is okay - we wouldn’t really advice to buy / eat anything here, since there are better and cheaper options. My rating is that bad because we honestly felt ripped off.

Quite literally the best hotel I have ever stayed at. It is a cool respite from the heat with a rooftop terrace for meals and an international meld of architecture all to its own. The owner caters completely to his guests and helps with every aspect of travel. I am utterly at a loss for more words to say except come here when you stay in Anuradhapura.

The best coffee in Sri Lanka made the right way! The owner has incredibly high standards and it shows. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh sheets and everything. The food is great and the design is magnificent. The host speaks great English (actual English!) and has travelled the world and is always happy to have a chat. He knows all the good places tot visit and which ones you should avoid.

Great hospitality and extremely clean rooms. Better than a start hotel. Easy access. Closer to the Bodhiya and Ruwanwali saye. Highly recommended.

Such a clean and relaxing place to stay. Loved the upstairs terrace. The host was super helpful and rented us bikes to explore the Sacred City and gave us a map with directions!

Really nice and helpful manager - Sempathi, who welcomes us and arranged/explained everything for us to take full advantage of our short stay. We found the rooms very clean and practical, equipped with all essentials one might need for a quick visit to the city. Nice common areas-reception/lobby, terrace for breakfast, entry to the hotel. All that at a reasonable price.

This is one of the best places to stay in Anuradhapura for those who are planning to stay in Anuradhapura. Very clean rooms with all facilities. The owner is Mr. Senpathi Weerage, who is very kind, friendly and maintains a professional service. You can spend your leisure time here with very good facilities. The experience I had here as a local tourist was very pleasant. Relevant services as well as facilities can be availed from here for the city of Anuradhapura as well as other important places. This place can be described as a place that offers superior service at very reasonable prices.

5 star service right from the begining, Owner Mr Senpati is very kind, friendly and attends to detail. Very clean modern 4 star level rooms. He served us full breakfast at 5am for our Willpattu tour.

Great place to stay for little money. The owner gave us a bunch of tips what to do in the area and how to get around. Highly recommend the place, even though the room was quite small. Good was fantastic too!
