The place looks fine at the first sight but actually it is not. Rooms are tiny loaded with a double bed and a single bed without no space to move around. The built quality of rooms and bathroom are absurd. Room floors have been done with slippery wall-tiles where our baby slipped twice on the floor. An angle valve was installed for shower control which not easy to grab. A bidet shower is installed as a telephone shower 😂 . Recommend to not to buy any food from here, not worth the money. The kitchen area was dirty and uncleaned. The owner is wandering around with dirty clothes, disgusting.

The owner is very attentive and we had issues with wifi, and he tried everything to fix it. The place is close to the city. Anyway there are some points to make better. 1. Keep soaps and towels in the room so no one has to ask for them 2. Use cleaner pillow cases Price- quality is very good for a short stay in this city. There are many restaurants around there

We had a great time staying at this place for two nights. The room was really clean, the area was nice and quiet, and the owner was super helpful and friendly. The homemade breakfast was really tasty too. Big thanks to the owner for being so welcoming.

Please avoid this place at the moment. It looks like pre-covid, there have been good reviews but this is the worst place we've stayed at on our trip. Everything is filthy and has obviously been for a long time. Towels were yellow and smelled horrible, there was mold everywhere. The linen had huge black stains and hair all over it.

When we are checking- in, there was no electricity. The owners said there is an sudden maintenance happening from electricity board. I was shocked. How can we spend time inside a room without electricity? So I called to the respctive electricity board office in anuradhapura. They said that maintenance was a scheduled one and they informed to the community way before it happened. But the owners didnt tell me that. So i had to stay in the room sweating, without the aircon for 4-5 hours until electricity comes. It was a horrible experience. Inside room there is NO * Towels * Soap * water bottles * bed sheets If u need any if this, u need to call each an every time. The bathroom sink tap water pressure was very low. So u need to spend alot of time when dealing with it. My experience was not so good with this property. Choose wisely

This place is really dirty. I think nothing was ever cleaned. The bedsheets were yellow and had so many dirty spots on them, simply disgusting. In the toilet there was a frog and cockroaches in the room.

Very good room. Stayed for 2 nights. Room rate is reasonable and very clean. One bathroom was bit smaller but have hot water as well.

Very clean room, hot water and AC in the room(normal rooma also there).Mr Kapila who maintain the premises is very help full, we stayed at downstairs room because we want to cook Kiri Ahara,there is superb kitchen downstairs and all the needed things you can find there in the kitchen (rice cooker, Gas burner etc...) about 10min (4 Km)to Jaya sri maha bodi and very quite place and close to the city center, woth for the prices can recommended to all.

Superb host, extremely friendly and helpful, for a very cheap price he drove us around in Anaradaphura! The room was totally okay cleaned (many not exactly like Swedish standard but definitely very good for Sri Lanka)! Good breakfast and is very close to the lake where a juiceshop, shop and one (bad but okay if u eat meat) excist.

I stayed at the Lakeside Villa for 4 nights from the 22nd to the 25th of December 2019 with my mother. It was a relaxing and a peaceful stay. The hospitality extended by the Manager Mr. Kapila Rajapaksha was warm and welcoming. He would go out of his way to make everyone (without exceptions) comfortable.
