There
are
quite
a
bit
of
mixed
reviews
for
this
place.
For
us,
I
think
for
the
price,
it
is
worth
it,
since
they
upgraded
us
to
a
bigger
tent.
The
tent
itself
is
quite
luxurious,
with
different
sections
for
the
bedroom
and
a
living
room.
It
is
decorated
nicely,
and
the
environment
around
it
is
pleasant,
in
a
little
forest.
We
ate
breakfast
and
dinner
here,
and
both
meals
were
good.
The
dining
area
also
gives
a
lovely
safari
dining
experience
(a
much
cheaper
version
to
an
African
safari!).
The
staff
were
also
very
helpful
and
courteous.
The
location
of
the
camp
is
near
Wilpattu
(5-10
minutes
drive).
There
were
some
problems
though,
and
you
should
be
aware
of
it,
before
booking
this
place.
As
it
is
"camping
style",
of
course,
you
do
not
get
all
the
luxury
in
staying
in
a
more
permanent
structure.
The
toilet
is
a
bit
"open",
so
there
may
be
some
privacy
issues
with
the
person
you
are
sharing
the
tent
with.
There
is
no
aircon,
but
fans
are
provided
and
it
is
good
enough
for
me,
as
the
climate
was
quite
cool.
It
is
also
rather
damp
in
the
tent,
because
it
is
in
a
forest.
I
think
the
tent
is
well
secured
against
insects,
but
if
you
are
not
used
to
them,
and
some
do
get
into
the
tent,
you
may
not
like
it.
As
I
am
from
a
tropical
country,
I
have
no
problems
with
the
insects.
Also,
because
of
these
insects,
the
tent
and
dining
area
are
dimly
lit
(not
to
attract
them),
so
if
your
eyesight
is
poor
in
the
dark
(which
happens
as
you
grow
older!),
you
may
find
it
difficult
to
search
for
your
things,
etc.
Bring
a
torchlight!
Finally,
my
tent
had
no
hot
water
when
I
first
checked
in,
and
the
bathroom
was
leaking
onto
the
carpets
in
the
bedroom.
I
reported
it
to
the
staff
and
they
acted
upon
it
quickly,
but
I
don't
think
the
leak
was
solved,
as
by
the
end
of
my
trip,
the
carpet
was
quite
soaked
through.
In
conclusion,
I
think
Big
Game
Camp
is
a
lovely
place
to
stay!
Quite
an
experience!
