Very unorganized place. They are promoting so called organic where it does 't practices. Also they offer very cheap buffet menu at a highly expensive rate. For instance, their price for a menu with Red rice, Pampkin curry, Mango curry, Kekiri curry, Mulunuwenna mellum and Papadam was Rs.250.00 . We don't know that they are charging that much for lotus leaf, in which served the foods. Hygine of foods is also not up to the standards. No plesent employees there to talk customers. We believe that most of the customers might be one time visitors used to visit while traveling to Anuradhapura and sure they will not come again. Not recommending this place to any one as they are money oriented rather offering good service and products to its customers.

Foods outlets nd reourants which are made in mud walls and roof s are covered with coconut leves are located in open vegitable garden. its and open buffe with no plates.but food is to be eaten on lotus leaf layed on palm leaves pads. Food is delicious and cost is affordable for an average sri lankan.

Wannihena is not only a organic product store now. Now it's have foods and beverage it is a restaurant now. The concept of this restaurant is different and novel. There are several coconut leaf roofed, dry mud floored, simple huts available. Those are for different kind of dishes. They have separate Indiana food stall, Sri Lankan rice and curry hut, and some other huts for different foods. The surrounding is much interesting because many vegetables are planted as a Chena cultivation. Foods are delicious. Rice curry will be cost from LKR 250. Good service. Partner is friendly. Very good washrooms. Have a try won't be disappointed for money.

I went there about week ago for breakfast and had a chit chat with owner while having breakfast.. according to him almost every thing that i ate there organic and grew by him self.. there is a little farm around this shop.. you can go there and visit his organic farm..

Good concept. I would give 45% for the place. Taste of the food was not up to the standard when we ate. Rice was under cooked and the mix is not matching. They can do better. Vegetable garden needs proper attention. There is a vast potential if they do a better job.
