Comfortable room with a really nice view of Tissa lake and pagodas. peaceful at the night. Supportive staff. We booked the Full Board package but all three buffets are not up to the standard when you compare with the rates. Fewer items and most of them are not tasty as well. some foods were finished when we arrive at the lunch buffet and the desserts were melted. The buffet needs to be improved in every aspect. The pool is small it's not suitable for adults. No privacy at the Swimming pool because it's located near the dining and lobby area. Be careful about their offers bcoz some of them are only for cash payments. We had such kind of experience, they only mentioned the offer, not their conditions at the booking time, once we paid by card and asked about the offer since it was not applied they told us it's only for cash payments. Not worth the price at all and It's sad to see such a scenic location is ruined by the bad management of this hotel

Found this lovely place from Facebook and without thinking twice I did a reservation after seeing the good reviews and recommendations. We visited this hotel on last week and service was superb. Even though buffet variations are less, every food we tried was delicious and no regret of spending for a stay. Rooms are comfy and staff was nice.

Visited for the first time with my family and had a wonderful stay at this beautiful & clean hotel with the lovely nature surrounding. We had a lovely Christmas dinner too! Found this lovely place after canceling our other hotel in area due to poor conditions of that hotel. Had a great comfortable room, with a beautiful view. Food was delicious and enjoyed swimming in the pool

The view from the hotel is fabulous. The service and the food also great. There are some maintenance issues due to lack of guests due to the economic issues. Guests are picking up and we see more crowds coming to Anuradhapura. This is a great place to stay although a bit expensive.

Beautiful location. The service experience was very Mediocre. I felt disrespected and annoyed by the service staff. Seems like they didn't interested much in local guests . The food also wasn't great. I had a soup that tasted like water.

I go there on motorbike to Book Honeymoon Room. But we haven't no Welcome or Happy mood. Some people come there on Car and they have Good Welcome. So We were very embarrassed. We got careless & unhappy service. They Judged us by looking at the Motorbike. It shouldn't be. We are not poor people even if we come on motorbike.

The location worked really well for us as we were touring the area. Breakfast and dinner is buffet and the waiting and cooking staff were engaging, helpful and genuinely nice - there was some live cooking both times. We went for a family stay on full board basis. The staff was very nice to us from the welcome to the end of our stay. The view from the hotel is breathtaking . You can actually see the stupas across the lake . Rooms were spacious, well cleaned and nicely arranged. Their was a buffet for all three meals and the food was really good. They had a good variety of items in the buffet and we loved their Egg drop and sweet corn soup. The pool is located near the dining area and a suggestion would be to have the pool in the roof top. Overall it was an amazing experience and we can give 10/10.

Great place to stay with the family. Spacious rooms, with a fantastic view on Anuradhapura and the lake. We saw cows roaming and fishermen in the lake. Staff is very attentive and food was good. The pool is marvelous. We recommend this place.

Place was naturally built greenish and pleasant atmosphere to spend with scenario view of lake covering three temples. Food was delicious. You have option to go for western and Sri Lankan. Rooms are more spacious and clean. Good choice for family or couples to stay. Thanks for your service.

We were in the room 1201. Amazing view of 4 big stupas. Directly facing to Tissa wewa. We got up to the view of sunrise every morning and it was so mesmerising. We didn't get enough of the view at all. So relaxing surroundings. Most of the time you can hear the sound of the peacock. You feel much connected to the nature. Service is superb. All the staff is very friendly. Food is tasty. Variety is less. But it was okay with us because we weren't giving our full attention to the food. The huge problem was flies in the buffet area. Otherthan that food tend to finish everytime at the last hour of the meal time they provide. They didn't refill since I was last to eat most of the time. But I could ask for anything I wanted and received everything I asked with lot of politeness. The time we spent there was so refreshing. The Manager Mr. Sanath was helpful in every way and never forgot to say hi to our kid everytime he sees her. One of our best stays. Room is average but with all facilities. Bathroom is properly cleaned and no complaints. 3rd floor has a small banquet hall and 4th floor is roof terrace which is ideal for an open air party.

The General Manager Sanath was extremely helpful in organising a cake for my father's birthday. I had called him from overseas late last night and he kindly went out of his way to make my father's day memorable. This kind of service to clients is often lost in the western world and I just wanted to extend my sincere gratitude for the efforts and for the kind gesture him and the team put in. The manager was extremely rude and never forgot to complain about something or the other. We felt most unwelcome and it honestly felt sad that such a beautiful hotel has a ugly personality as a titled decision maker. The staff was very friendly. They took care of us nicely and the food was amazing. It's a hotel in front of thisa Wawa (tank) and you can see many temples (Ruwanwalisaya) to your room. At night the view is breathtaking. The manager is very friendly. I went with my wife and she loved the place. Must visit again

We stayed two nights there. Clean and spacious room with a nice view of tissa lake. food was not much varieties. You can enjoy rice and curry menu for lunch there with good taste.

A great place to stay if you are travelling to Anuradhapura, for pilgrimage or just holiday. The rooms are specious and mostly clean, but the sofa in the room needs a bit more cleaning around the seat edges. Lake view rooms has great views of the Thissa wewa (Thissa Lake) and 4 pagodas including Ruwanweli Seya. Go to the rooftop for a better view :). Staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. This hotel has a great pool and dining area with great food. They prepared baby meals according to our needs. I can recommend this place and planning to stay there on our next visit to Anuradhapura. Nice spacious rooms with an amazing view if the Tissa lake. I have several food allergies and intolerances and the kitchen staff always made sure that i had something to eat. Everyone enjoyed the meals. We wanted to go on a safari the next morning and we wanted to check out early because we had to be at the Wilpattu national Park at 6.30am. They packed us some breakfast which was most helpful. Pool is small however and has no privacy because its next to the reception and dinning area.
