Good food and good service too. We tried seafood noodles for pne of our orders and it was fantastic. Keep up the good work.

We choose this restaurant because is really close to the place we are staying and because of the reviews we read. This is not a touristic restaurant at all, you can see many locals ordering for take away and you know the food is going to be good and authentic. Our waiter was really nice and polite, asked if we wanted spicy sauces with our food and they were really great. The food, what can I say? Just awesome!! It took a while to be served but we knew there were many orders ahead of ours and it was worth waiting for it. We ordered egg kottu, mix kottu and chicken biryani rice. The portions were generous than we even took food for take away. We left and promise to come back tomorrow because we want to try other dishes and the prices are also really good... 3 minutes later the waiter caught up with us on his bike because we forgot a hat, we really appreciate it the gesture and have more reasons to come back! Update: As we promised, we went back yesterday for dinner, we had chicken biryani because it was just too good and also ordered coleslaw salad and nasie oreg I think was the name of the other dish 😅 the waiter again was really helpful because he asked at the new bus station the schedule for the bus to Jaffna. Food and service is top notch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Portions are value for money and delicious. Few areas to improve though lack off washroom and no designated parking facilities for guests is a bit of a issue. Hopefully they will improve those things in the future.

Best prices around. No joke, so much food for the price. We got “regular” and it was plenty for two people. We got egg kottu takeaway and came in clay pot. Very good. Grab with lion ginger beer for best meal.

We had a mixed biriyani. It was a new experience as it tastes like a biriyani and looks like a mixed fried rice. Food was tasty and worth for the price. Only thing is we had to wait for 50 min because of the high demand during dinner time. Recommends to pre order or get delivered if you are from Anuradhapura. No card payments possible but was able to transfer online. Staff was friendly.

The food was just ok, average. Got the seafood mie goreng and there was very little seafood, mostly some dry tough baby shrimp that didn’t seem fresh. There were better and cheaper restaurants in Colombo. Also they don’t accept card which is annoying as a restaurant frequented by tourists.

Good food and quick and friendly service. We asked for two beers and they went out of there way to get the beers. They served them with cooled glasses. The prices was good for the portion we got. A good experience overal.

Waited until the last day in Sri Lanka to write this review. Went to Bro Restaurant with my 2 friends on our first night in Sri Lanka. Ordered fried chicken and kottu. Little did we know it was going to be BY FAR our best meals in Sri Lanka. Don’t miss.

We have just eaten at this little restaurant opposite the lake in Anuradhapura after it was recommended by our host Wasa at Waterfront Homestay. We are so glad we did. It was genuinely some of the best food we have eaten anywhere. I had the chicken Kothu and the fried chicken on the side was amazing. My wife is vegetarian and not a fan of spicy food and had fried mushrooms and vegetable noodles which she said were delicious. All washed down with large Lion beers. The prices were also extremely reasonable. Chef has the best haircut. Definitely the place to go.

We went to dinner here. This is one of the best restaurant in Anuradhapura. We received the food we ordered within about 10 minutes. The foods are very delicious and worth the money. There is a friendly staff and provide a good service. Take away foods served in a clay pot. A different interesting concept. highly recommended!

I had chicken mie noodles. Was delicious and freshly made. We shared one normal portion which was plenty for two.

Place is clean. I took noodles and nasiguran rice. I think they add too much MSG for foods.

I had the deviled cuttlefish with rice. It was the best deviled I had in Sri Lanka! Friendly owner and large portions. Very very tasty! We had take away, it's a restaurant near the lake so maybe take your mosquitoe repellant or do take away. Thanks bro!!

I had the deviled pork, my girlfriend the deviled cuttlefish. Brilliant, very tasty food, perhaps you pay a bit more then in other places bit it's definitely worth it. If I lived here I would eat here once a week. Only downside were the abundance of mosquitos which made us choose for take-away. (You can't control nature bro) Cheers!
