Wonderful trip at the end under lot of uncertainties due to lockdown. I was lucky to get connected Mani who guided genuinely for the trip. He is one of a best in terms of handling tourists and he understands our expectations well. If fact in my two trips i found all boat men are well behaved. Our trip started with buying fish and ordering food, then much wanted boating near falls and bathing, oil bath...etc. missed only bathing at a water falls due to no time and tiredness...had small kids and everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Overall nice trip and thanks to Mani...I wish him all the best for his endeavour...

Hogenakkal waterfalls are hidden gem of Tamilnadu. The falls are full of water now a days. To have a coracle ride over river Cauvery is a lifetime experience. To explore this unexplored place would have been quite impossible without the help of boatman Mani. His warmth and excellent service made impossible possible for us.

One day trip, Best place the view and the water flow awesome and journey with teppa(round boat) is too good and enjoyed a lot with that only wil reach the falls, Can visit with family and friends and enjoy.

The trip was lovely. There was a small hiccup regarding permit while entering Tamil Nadu by a Revv car. Make sure you have a permit otherwise you can pay 300 bucks to negotiate. We pre booked Mami and Vijay’s boat. Our boatman, named Ram was very soft spoken and have guided us through the whole trip. However, they say the boat ride is for Rs 750/ boat (Government Charge) but to enjoy and get the essence of the ambience you have to spend Rs 3000/ boat for unlimited ride and can avail the luxury of taking bath and also having lunch on an island which is located at the centre of the river from where you can see Tamil Nadu to your left and Karnataka to your right. The lunch was also arranged by the boatman’s family for 800 (non veg), we just had to buy the fish and gave it to them for preparation. It was a pleasant and relaxing trip overall.

We really had a great experience in Hogenakal. Thanks to Boatman Mani and his brother who helped us to reach there and took care from the start to the end. Our first time experiance was great as we had them to guide and take care. We took bath in falls and had home food near by the water.

We had very pleasant experience with Vijay and Mani. We contacted them before start of our trip from Bangalore. They received us at check post and guided us throughout parking, the boat ride and till we left for return. They were polite and courteous and also didn't hurried even when it had become dark in evening. Money matters also were clear. Highly recommend them. Best wishes.
