Really nice place (even has a distant view of Namsan Tower if you can grab a seat by the window). It's nicely decorated, air conditioned with very friendly attentive service. The food was delicious & a real change whilst in South Korea. It isn't cheap but it's definitely worth it.

Amazing location with the view of the tower and church !especially at night Great atmosphere but my issue was with the food quality. It was average at best, The Chicken Tika lacked spice with a clear absence of tomatoes. The chicken Breyani was average as well. One off experience will not repeat

Undoubtedly best Indian food in seoul. Being vegetarian, we tried just vegetarian curries/dishes. Food quality & taste is very good and never disappoints. Host is very cooperative and gets prepared the dishes as per your custom taste. We went these almost for very meal while our stay at Myeongdong. Highly recommended.

Great indian food and service. Excellent atmosphere to have a meal with a group. The curry was delicious and had a wonderful flavor and spice. Samosas were large and delicious. The only thing we didnt enjoy were the pakora which didnt seem authentic. Definitely would recommend if you are in the area.

Taj is located right opposite Myeongdong Cathedral. They offer authentic Indian food. Was delighted to eat Desi after few days in seoul. Restaurant seems to be popular amongst Koreans since 90% of the customers at the time was the Locals.

One of the most authentic Indian restaurant in Seoul. Great service, amazing variety and delicious taste. Our go to place almost once a month! It's location is very convenient as well.

I've been there several times and I love the food. However I hadn't been in a while and they have made one unfortunate change: their take out containers. They used to be plastic but they have switched to paper. Paper containers for curry. The container soaked up the curry. What was worse is the person put an elastic band around the containers to try to keep the lid on. However the elastic was very small and squished the paper containers making them leak. One container leaked about 1/4 cup on the bottom of the bag!! Disappointing. And they had run out of samosas by 1pm, which was also Disappointing. Please go back to containers that work!

Lovely restaurant. . Well laid out.. food was good . Only down side it was very busy when I dined. and both in ordering and receive in meal took about 45 minutes. So be prepared to edit.

Quite the rip off if you eat à la carte. I wanted to eat the Taj course menu with various dishes for 40 000 W. However you had to be with 2. So they advised me to order à la carte. I ordered 3 of those Taj course menu dishes together with some rice and naan, which ultimately costed me 77500W. So for 2500W more I could have tried 5 more dishes and dessert. I feel like they could have told me that it would be a much nicer experience to just go for the menu and pay for 2. The flavours itself were a bit bland, but I do really liked the naan. The restaurant itself is nice with a modern interior. I’d go there with friends or family but not to eat solo.

Excellent Indian restaurant located in Myongdong area. Taste was really authentic. We always take out our lunch and dinner from here. You may experience a bit of wait due to more crowd there. It is worth waiting as we don't have any good Indian restaurants compared to this. I stayed for 2 weeks in Seoul at 3 different locations (Jincong, Incheon, and Seoul). I have tasted in 4 Indian restaurants. Taj is the best among all of them

staffs are rude a bit racist. Portion is very small. food is just ok. We were 10 of us. we asked for table close to each other but they didnt bother to accomodate us. When people next to our table left, we asked if we can move to the table which just became available but they made an excuse that someone else have booked it. But no one came by the time we left. wont recommend to anyone..dont go if you have kids...

I wouldn’t say it’s the best Indian food but to be fair it’s a decent restaurant with decent food, good service, reasonable prices, and a great location. The Resturant is Muslim friendly, and most importantly it is clean. I definitely enjoyed it more than jyoti, and will visit again.
