NEVER Use the sauna. Vicious men hack out their throats as LOUD as possible and spit everywhere. Terrible atmosphere.

The service at this hotel is appalling . If you arrive after 9pm there is no way to buy or order food and the staff are incredibly apathetic and unhelpful. Be prepared to pay in advance and not at check out. The redeeming aspects of this location is the nearby magnificent Citizen’s Forest

I came out of exit 5 of Yangjae Citizen's forest station, passed the trail, and arrived at the hotel to attend the conference. The lecture hall was larger than expected. And although the building looked old, it seemed to be well maintained.

The hotel was nice and a bit upscale, has a lot of amenities and nice restaurant in site. Concierge can help a bit more and act as if they can’t read Google translate when asking if they can help getting a taxi Front desk ladies are lovely and helpful Rooms and high floor views are amazing

Stayed here as part of a work visit. Bit of a walk to the metro, though in a calm, forested area. Pricy but nice breakfast buffet that is apparently where Koreans take their family on Chuseok.

Room is phenomenal, gym is a full one but you have to pay to use it. The location isn't bad, you're not close to public transportation. The restaurant is amazing. The noise level is non-existant (i might be one of 5 people on my floor, and i booked the corner top room).

I stayed for 2 nights to attend the KRMS symposium, The hotel is good, quite place and reasonably close access to subway, food is good but the quality of rooms are average for 3 star hotel, could have been made better / luxurious and very expensive, not worth for 3 star hotel .

This is a bit old but clean and quiet. I had been in the hotel for 1 week due to a seminar. The service was good and the cleaning ladies were kind and cleaned room perfectly. The location was also good. There is a subway stop within 15 minutes walking distance, so you can access anywhere you need to go.

I attended a conference here. It's decent. I like it's location. It's bit out of the busy city but good. I enjoyed the stay

Body hairs in bathtub. Roach traps under cabinet. Insect spray on table. Mold here and there. Outdated, dirty room... Despite all of these, we tried to stay as we were so tired. However, strong sulfur smell started coming from bathroom. Called front desk and a guy came with a can of Febreze. Told them to check for gas leak, but offered a room next door....they obviously have no idea that gas can travel and can be life threatening! Immediately checked out and drove away as fast as possible. While escaping they tried to charge us $5.00 for parking. Avoid this place at all cost!!

A great place, perfect for the business traveller. the bar suffers a bit because it's not well presented. But then again you're working so... but the breakfast menu is varied healthy and delicious. You're also close to within walking distance of underground and bus connections throughout Seoul. If you're a night owl, there's a 7/11 5 minutes walk out the hotel on the right up the hill - selling a selection of canned coffee, cheap beers and cigarettes. Life saver! Seoul is also quite a safe place. I left my phone on the table 2am with people around and when I returned it was still there.

Just had lunch before meeting. Food was clean and well presented but not tasty. Also expensive.

Outdated room which needs better cleaning. A can of insecticide is set as amenity by TV…😑 Front staff are not friendly. Location is nice by greenery.

Stayed here while visiting Seoul on business. Comfortable rooms with charging leads, hair dryer, fridge and kettle. Hotel is spacious. Breakfast is buffet style with lots of options. Dinner is Korean or Italian in the main restaurant. There is a Japanese restaurant in the basement that I would highly recommend.

Old hotel. Old rooms. Expensive food. Not worth it. The conference was super expensive and nothing of value was included.

11/17 The staff seems to be nice and pay attention to guests' need. But the hotel itself is old and requires the renovation. --update 11/16 When I called to hotel to check out other amenities, the front desk person informed me the different price for the early check-in, which was reasonable. I arrived today. I will see the service offered by the hotel for its guests and update the review again. For now, I'm giving 3 stars upgraded from 1 star, because the staff members I met were better than the front person to give me the ridiculous early check fee. --old When I called to hotel for early check-in, the front person said to pay 50% more of the full amount of one day stay. The check-in time is 3:00pm and the hotel can allow only 30 mins early check-in without charge. The hotel wants to get advantages from the guest without any service expected from normal hotels.

Not bad hotel. Staff is quite responsive (yes, some of them do speak English) and always ready to help you. Wi-fi sometimes has quite poor signal. Breakfast is just always the same. Very nice and beautiful park next to the hotel facilities (really enjoyed it). Due to the place is almost anytime crowded by either visitors or guests (because of some performances, conferences, wine fairs, etc.) might be a bit loud. Recommended if you are not seeking for a completely silent place to stay.

Its far away from anything, really like in the middle of no ware. The stuff is great and very helpful, they don't know any English but they really try to help. The hotel is it self is a bit old. The sauna is great and the lobby looks good, but the rooms look old and pretty outdated.

Very good hotels. Cost is cheap if you stay for long duration. Surrounded by greenery. Bus shuttles are there to reach Yangjae.
