It seems that while developing Gangil New Town, part of Mangwolcheon, a small stream, was expanded into a lake and created as a resting place for apartment residents. The diameter of the lake is about 500m, and there is a walking trail along the edge of the lake, as well as walking trails on both sides of Mangwolcheon Stream. Benches are installed at appropriate intervals, and dapssari and sukrung are planted.

One of the advantages of Misasin City is this park. There are many good restaurants near the lake park, so it's good to eat and digest food while walking. Photo by nomadian0

A place where family, lovers, friends, colleagues and pets can all gather together and enjoy chatting. In the summer, the swimming pool is open for families with children to enjoy, and the small lake that flows through the park has a fountain show, so you won't be bored during the hot summer. There are many restaurants nearby, so you will never get bored. Please note that there is a paid parking lot nearby and the municipal parking lot is free for 2 hours.

As a foreigner living in Misa, I have to say I really appreciate this lake and how it has been well developed and maintained. I take a bus to my office in Gangnam and I cross the park everyday. I also enjoy walking around there during the weekends after having brunch. Thank you Misa for having such a beautiful park. Coldice13

This park was created when Misa New City was created. It is good for a walk and is convenient as there are many convenience facilities nearby. There are many people walking their dogs, and it is unfortunate that the swimming pool cannot remain open due to the coronavirus.

An artificial lake park located in Misasin City. Good for a walk and good to eat. Even better if you have pets! The west side of the lake, toward Misa Station, is full of restaurants and cafes, and it looks pretty at night. There are several courses to go around the lake based on the bridge, which is the lake's landmark. Each lap is at least 1km and up to 1.2km, so it's good for exercising while measuring the distance. Naturally, there are many people who exercise at any time and walk their dogs. Below is a description of Namu Wiki. It is a lake park located in the center of Misa Riverside City. The existing Mangwol Stream was expanded to create an artificial lake and a park was created around it. There is also a walking trail that goes around the lake, and there is 'Sangmanggyo Bridge', an arch bridge that passes through the lake on both sides. For reference, Sangmanggyo Bridge has been rebuilt several times, but it is a historic bridge that has remained in place for over 100 years. As the development around the lake park has been completed and the shape of the city center has been established, you can see the cityscape of the park in harmony with the high-rise buildings, making it a worthy tourist destination. At night, Sangmanggyo Bridge is lit up with colorful lights, creating a spectacular night view that blends in with the surrounding buildings. Classical music was played at all times and a fountain was operated, but it was temporarily suspended due to the administrative order prohibiting gatherings in public places due to the coronavirus. Recently, the water flow in the lake was very slow or almost non-existent, causing algae to grow and odors to stagnate. As complaints were received, related improvement work was completed around the end of July. After the improvement work, the odor was reduced, but the water turned into muddy water due to the recent rainy season...

Very pet friendly. A lot of benches and places to sit. Plenty of cafes and restaurants to eat/chill at while going around.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ An unlikely spot for city dwellers to enjoy a bit of space and serenity. It's a bit difficult to get here by public transportation but the parking fee is reasonable and it's also connected to the adjacent park towards the riverside.

๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ Come out of Exit 3 of Hanam Geomdansan Station, the final station of Subway Line 5, and go straight down to Sangokcheon. I saw swans, a winter bird, around Paldang Bridge and the confluence of the Han River and Sangokcheon. There were a lot of them. I am uploading photos taken while walking through...
