We drove down to St.Marks while staying at the Wakulla Springs Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed our day hike there! Clean coastal breezes swept in from the Gulf of Mexico and we even saw several alligators in the canals! The old lighthouse was very cool as well!

Beautiful nature. Crazy fog rolled in. Rolling breeze. Pay by your honor no ranger. Lighthouse is only open on Tuesdays 11 am to 2 pm but may be different because of COVID-19. Lot of photographers. Hidden treasure on the Bay.

Great place for families to visit. Also for enthusiastic birdwatchers. The wildlife is incredible. We also enjoyed visiting this park because of the bald Eagle. There are plenty of trails for hiking areas for boating and always enjoyable to go out visit the lighthouse

In case you didn't already know: Bring and use bug repellent! Inexpensive entry, friendly (mostly volunteer) staff, nice little gift shop, did you forget your binoculars? They have some to borrow. Depending on the time of the year you can see numerous different birds.

On a road trip from Atlanta with a friend, we were blown away by how beautiful the park was. Found hermit crabs, saw deer, ducks, and tons of different birds. Went to st Augustine, Jacksonville, Savannah, GA, Chattanooga, TN, Atlanta, and other spots and this was the prettiest spot.

We loved this place. The real beauty of Florida. Miles of beach trails and places to explore. We saw a nice variety of wildlife. Very peaceful, bring a picnic, your fishing gear, stop by the museum and lighthouse. So much to see so stop by the visitor center to get maps and info to make the best use of your time. I wish I was still there ❤️

👍👍 Beautiful historical park. Your America The Beautiful Pass gets you in for free. Many trails to walk. The lighthouse is interesting. Wish it was open more than 2 days a month. We saw lots of wildlife including alligators.
