The glory days of Vikings is sadly over. The food, service, and overall quality compared to a few years ago has gone down the drain. Where is the head chef that used to patrol around and greet people? What happened to the meat carving station? The roast lamb was all fat. The salad lettuce selection was laughable. The pizza and pasta and the Mexican section is just sad. And where's the kind service staff? We just got hassled to pay the bill twice just after we were sat down at 7pm. They all seem to be in a rush to go home. Here's a pic of the tuna sashimi they had. Not eating that. And the cockroach scurrying around the meat carving station was the final straw. Place wont get my patronage any longer.

A good buffet restaurant to celebrate your birthday and special occasions. The food is delicious and tasteful. The restaurant is spacious with private space for special events. They also have groups of employees roaming around to sing birthday songs for each birthday celebrant.

The staffs are very accommodating. I've been here several times to try and taste everything but now it seems the variety of food lessen, the food was good though. I love the grilled meat and ice cream.

My husband and I cherish this place, making it a yearly tradition to dine here. Our go-to dish is always the salmon. Ensure to book in advance to avoid any lengthy waiting times.

While the majority of the dishes were excellent, I believe there is still room for improvement in some areas. Some of the dishes lacked the desired flavor and could benefit from a bit more seasoning or variety. My Wife said that the pork was a little bit to oily. Overall, Vikings Luxury Buffet - SM City Pampanga is a great place to indulge in an array of culinary delights. With its extensive selection and warm ambiance, it's a worthwhile choice for family gatherings or special occasions. With a few tweaks, it has the potential to become a five-star experience.

Food is so manyaman that's a kapampangan term for napakasarap then all foods are presentable all clean and friendly, approachable staff love to come back here

We're group of 10 people, walk in and we waited 30 mins + to be seated as it was busy on the weekend. Great to celebrate birthdays and there is discounted price for group event and had own function room that you comfortably have fun with your guests. Unlimited food, drinks and desserts. They also serve a healthy living choice like salad and some food are not salty. Options are asian and western food so if you crave for it you had a great choices. Staff are very entertaining when it comes to the birthday celebrant and gracefully sing and dance! Kudos to a job well done.

One of the best buffets. Had a post birthday celebration of my partner here. Staffs are all nice and accomodating. the foods are all amazing too. Special thanks to the chef who makes the Pesto and Mac and Cheese, it was so good that we had to order another plate. all in all. it was really a good experience here at vikings SM Pampanga. Shout out to Ms. Elsa and her team for assisting us every now and then just to make sure that we enjoy our dinner. Thank you so much!

Pre pandemic, during pandemic and maybe post pandemic. I would say their service is very consistent. The staff are very nice and would sometimes guide you which sauce is better for a meat. The menu at the peak of pandemic is not that good but none the less these people and this place will provide you the best service and food they can!

Nice staff and good food. Not too crowded and they are still open for reservations. They had a marked down price for dinner buffet. Before I think it was 998 now it's 799 plus 5% service charge. They have new protocols with getting food. You can point the food that you want then they'll give it to you while for the pasta and noodle bar you need to give them your table number and they'll serve it at your table. Few remarks during our visit: food was kinda bland for other menu (or maybe I just have high tolerance for saltiness). The herb chicken not so savory and kind of undercooked, same goes with the noodle broth and sauces it lacks flavor. Perhaps there are condiments available upon request which I didn't try. I really liked the truffle pizza and the appetizers. There are choices of chinese cooking. Fresh fruits and desserts are awesome especially the coffee jello tho they had limited flavors at the ice cream bar. Kapampangan food still available. Crew members are courteous. Overall, customer service is great. I had a great fill but flavor wise I'd give 3.5 stars.

We only come here once a year for birthday celebration. Foods are great. A lot of selection. The pasta section is what i like the most, second is the pastries. Overall its a great value for money specially if only once a year 😂😂

Too expensive for normal taste cuisines. They hide the steaks, shimp dishes and other supposed to be good stuffs. Beer and alcohol are also limited.

Amazing treats for hungry diners. With great variety of food from land sea and air. Plus flavorful choices of dessert! Highly recommended!

First time to dine here to celebrate my Father’s 53rd Birthday. He said this was one of his unforgettable birthday celebrations. He tried a variety of dishes. He enjoyed the cake parade for the celebrants.

The vibe and the setup is absolutely beautiful. There is a good selection of food. However, the quality of the food itself was just ordinary. I was expecting real sushi but got sushi rolls. I was looking for something exotic and yet the food was just the regular stuff you get in other restaurants. I think the best part is that beer is also unlimited.

Tyler and Marco provided excellent assistance during our visit, earning them kudos! The overall experience was okay, but the food fell short of the luxurious expectations set by the ads. Unfortunately, lamb and sirloin steak were not available. The steak, in particular, didn't meet my expectations. There was a server in the carving section who seemed displeased when a nearby guest ordered a variety. On a positive note, the person handling the ice cream section consistently wished us to "enjoy," which was a nice touch. I must highlight that the mango sticky rice was a delightful and enjoyable part of the experience. However, the narrow space made navigating and accessing food a bit challenging. Overall, it had its ups and downs, but Tyler and Marco made it enjoyable as well as the staff at reservation and receiving area.

The food were great I got to try most of the meals there exept the rice and cakes. The only thing that surprized me was the extra service charge that I was not clearly informed of but anything else were great

Sad to say, food is not the same as when they first opened. Salmon sashimi took forever to be served. I asked 3 times when it will be available. I was told that they were still thawing it and this was 11:30 in the morning. After an hour or so and and I was already having desert when it finally arrived.😝Shrimp tempura was refilled after soooo many minutes only to see a few servings that would be scooped by the customer before me,so I have to wait again. Steak was a bit hard to chew. Hope they do something about it so they may be restored in their former glory🤗.

I tried a lot, few were exceptional like kalderetang baka and mousse desserts. They presentation was good, the staff were great. It was reasonable pricing, no complaints.

Average. I love the Japanese food they serve especially the tempura. Unfortunately, you can't have enough since they only serve you a few pieces. More of like eat all they can serve.

luxurious looking buffet restaurant. too many food choices. not all selections are great but there are a few that stood out. this is my 3rd time eating at this restaurant. hoping for more fruit choices.

The food was ok for its price. Don’t expect too much for a budget buffet but there were a variety of food options. The carving menu is so-so, it’s already cooked well-done and cannot order the doneness. Do not eat the laksa it’s blah.

I liked the buffet and the service. There is a great choice. But compared to Vikings in Cebu City the quality of food, and especially the carvery, was less good. It still needs a lot of improvement but everything is there to make it better in the future.

Food variety and taste can be graded as good. Pricy and not worth the price. Definitely not going back. But, they offer free pax for every three adults.

Making reservation was smooth. On-site, the service person was accomodating and let us pick our seat. Some selection were unique, almost weird to taste. Love the sushi selection, not the ramen and tempura (not how I want them cooked). Labels can be hard to find though. It was nice experience.

The staff esp the resto manager is not competent. We arrived and have reservation first. But our reservation was not listed. Those who came in last was called to enter first. So unfair. And the resto does not practice social distancing. And the food selections are only 1/4 compare from the prepandemic times. It is not worth it.

Food is great and fresh, as always. Very accommodating staff. We asked the staff named Joshua to serve and get us food and we enjoyed every bit of it. Also, the receptionist named Nik helped us have a worry-less reservation. Thank you for the approachable team, vikings pampanga!
