The customer service from waiters and waitresses were very welcoming. I loved the outside deck which was nice and clean, with fresh smelling mint planted on the partition wall. I ordered a NZ T-Bone Steak and Lobster which was $104 tala. As the waiter explained, this dish was just the steak and lobster alone and not inclusive of the potato mash, salad and even the mushroom sauce, which were all ordered separately and costs $10 tala each. Things like this should be transparently clear on the menu. I was expecting something very special about this steak as everyone talks about it, and I ordered the most expensive one, however, it was not all that. A bit overrated and overpriced in my opinion. You would get the same steak from other Fine Dining Restaurants for a much more reasonable price.

We decided to try this restaurant as the reviews online were very good. We were sadly disappointed with our meals and experience. We ordered the steak and lobster meals... which for the price you would expect to be cooked well, the steak (which was ordered to be a medium rear) was so tough and over done that it was very difficult to cut through, all 4 of us that ordered this meal had very tough steak. It stated on the menu that it was NZ steak although I doubt that. We were seated outside and the amount of flies trying to get on our food was so bad that we couldn't just sit and eat our meal, we were constantly swatting them away.

The food was amazing - as usual. The portions were generous and the staff very attentive. It's one of our must go places every time we visit Samoa.

Really nice set up outside to enjoy your food. Didn't take long for our food and drinks to come out. Food is nice and fresh, portions are generous! Recommend you come here at least once and do book a table just to ensure you have a spot. 😊 we ordered the lobster Mornay, grilled fish, strawberry daiquiri and a margherita.. so good. 🍹👍 next time I will try the steak as the sizzling plates looked so good coming out to other tables.

We had drinks then ordered our meals lobster and steak and vegetables.They were all delicious and service was great. Bathrooms were very clean good off street parking.

Have read reviews so had to try the lobster. It was good @ $94 for 3 tails served with mash or chips and salad or steamed veg. We also ordered deep fried eggplant with aioli sauce, raw fish, fish & chips. All meals had big portion and very satisfying. We only had non alcoholic drinks so cant comment on bar selection. Food was good and atmosphere was lovely..its a converted homestead which I found surprising..but there is both indoor and outdoor spaces. I recommend dining outdoors as the ferry lights make it lovely in the evening and there was a nice breeze outside. Theres no aircon inside. Staff lovely & knowledgeable about their menu. I can see why its a popular place... a place where locals come to have a fancy meal.

Excellent meal and a variety of choices on the menu. Great experience. Just need a more visible sign on the roadside but worth the experience of looking for it.

Definitely the best restaurant in Samoa so far. Love the food and so as the customer service.

This was our first time dining here since they relocated, and we were pleasantly surprised. Despite not having a reservation, we were able to get a table for in-house dining on a Tuesday night after 8pm. The service was efficient, and my partner gave a perfect rating to their New Zealand steak. I ordered the island chicken, and it was delicious as well. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star review is because I found the restaurant to be lacking in character. The staff were professional and quick, but the service could have been more personalized. It would have been nice if they took the time to chat with customers, recommend menu items, or even engage in some friendly conversation like asking about our day. This small improvement could enhance the overall dining experience.

The local t bone for only WST 55 is SEKI. A huge cut of meat, cooked how you like. The lobster is so fresh and the sauce that they provide with the steak paired perfectly. Kids loved the volcano dessert and the banana split. The only place we had dinner more than once during our trip. Oh before I forget, try the Iced Tea. It was the best we had in Samoa.

The location is nice, the food was delicious, and the service was satisfactory. Although the only issue was the steak and shrimp…. for that price i didnt expect a small glass cup filled with sauce and REALLY tiny shrimps… for that i expected something totally different. but overall it was satisfactory.

We had a meal there on Monday night, our last night in Samoa. The service was friendly but slow. Waited at least an hour for our main meals. Meals were decent size, hubby had NZ steak which he enjoyed. The taxi driver our resort booked for us didn't know the restaurant or how to get there

Restaurant service was great and bar lady was on top form with her service and recommendations for drinks.. We had lobster 🦞 😋 very nice.. and my wife had chicken with was very good too. We'll be going back for sure 👍🏽

This impressive French restaurant came as a pleasant surprise. Slightly traditional but well executed dishes. Totally did not expect this quality of French cuisine here (way better than the ones we've had in Vietnam). A must try in Phnom Penh!

Staff are amazing, however food a little overrated on previous reviews in my opinion. No lobster, steak cooked as asked but for thw high price they charge was tough and small. Vegies seemed to be frozen packet jobs. Garlic cheese bread is horrible save money dont order.

Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, best steak and lobster on island. Well, when on island you only come to Kokobanana for the steak. By day, its called Mama Jane and they serve breakfast and lunch.

Disappointing. Had expectations (based on other reviews) of something a bit special and unique (Samoan fare with a flash of westernism). The first realisation came with the menu.. heavily western-palate oriented. Steak. Steak. Steak. I had the pan fried fish (swordfish) which, while tasty, was dry and tough. Sadly, served with a side of mayonnaise. The vegetables were less than spectacular.. steamed carrot, a watery curcubit and a leaf of bok choy, not enhanced by the addition of some (packet frozen) carrot, pea & sweetcorn. I chose to have coconut rice instead of fries or mashed potato. At least that added a tropical flavour. At WST48 they could do better.
