👍 The local of the locals!! If you're wanting bang for the buck, come here. Worth to try it at least to get an idea of local food! Just point to what you want. We paid 23 Tala for 2 large plates of food. 2 curries with rice each, plus a sausage and chicken drumstick. It was hard for me to eat as ever... People often mention chicken, local, cheap, curry, good, rice, restaurant, locals,

Great to take family for a meal. Portions are very generous. Staff need to be more observant on who has been standing to be served and not to serve people they know first

A very family oriented kind of place. Their $3 mix or just curry is all you need for the day and if that can't satisfy you, throw some chicken or sausages in the meal and it still doesn't cost $10 haha. Also available is chicken mushroom, dry curry, steak and egg and chow mein. Pinatis soup on Saturday morning is my all time favorite. The soup is so good that by 10Am(usually) it is sold out. The soup is $6 and is only sold on Saturday mornings, opens really early like at 6am. The restaurant also caters food which is good for events. Customer service is on point. Overall, a restaurant deserving of 5 stars with their satisfying meals and warm hospitality. Best a pinatis ☺👍

A good spot where locals go for lamb curry & rice. Good value for money as the portions are generous. We were disappointed the keke pua'a is no longer on the menu. This place has its own vibe and is busy but the restaurant get through the queues pretty quick.

I wish I'd take photos because this was my favorite place in Samoa. They say that you should eat where the locals hang out - Pinakis is that place. It's far from 5 star dining but it is comfort food and everything I remember about growing up in South Auckland

We came here specifically to try local Samoan food because our resort didn't have any and wasn't disappointed, full of local people enjoying the food. 11 tala for a big plate of food, great value! They don't have a menu, just big containers of food you just point to what you want. Just be aware there are a few bones to pick through.

This is the most favorable restaurant of Samoans and locals! This is due to their curry and chopsuey as well as their very cheap price range! The service is quick compared to the number of people that go there! However, place still needs a bit work! If you want to live and eat like a local as well as mingling with dozens of them, try Pinati's.

The best value for money fast food in the country. The "Mix' which is a chop suey and curry with rice is $4, is the most popular dish. The Saturday beef soup is a classic that you need to try when in Samoa.

Most restaurants in Samoa serve western food…. Pinati is a must for those who know their Samoan food! Closes at 3am and we absolutely enjoyed our meals (no bubbly tummies 🤭) Not halal, but I settled for yummy rice & egg dishes! Yummmmm! Our 7+ crew were not complaining $12ST! $6Aust!!! Dining area with the best sounds! Disco lights at night….love the vibe here. Food options inc, chicken curry, rice, beef stir fry, fried chicken, bananas, stir fried noodles! Definately a must!

Cheap local place to eat. They open till late so youll see alot locals & taxi drivers here. Food was ok for what you pay $11 tala for 3 meat choices and a carb(green banana or rice) its a cheap eat not necessarily a good one. They had about 6 hot dishes to choose from. We chose chicken curry, soy chicken, lamb vege stirfry & egg foo young. Unfortunately food sits in bain maries and not heated so the food was lukewarm/cold & made us weary of food poisoning. We managed to eat some of our food which was ok. Nothing great just fills the gap

Ate the food because it reminded me of my times with my Mom when I was young. Food isn't like before but the nostalgia is very real. Great service 👏 👍

The food is great but the worker and service is really bad. I simply asked the guy for mix and he mixed it up with chow mein kept telling him to make my order infront of me like the others but he kept going to the very far side so I wouldn't see him making my order and I even had to explain slowly and multiple times about my order yet he still gets it mixed up. ONE job 🤦‍♀️

If there's one local restaurant that almost every local know, it would be Pinatis, why? their food of course, and not only how much it costs but the feeling of home when you get to eat their food. My only problem are the employees/servers. Yes its understandable that they're exhausted and tired but at least put up a smile when you serve us the customers and especially when the customers are asking nicely or they made a mistake and then there's you showing an exhausted expression. Please consider this Pinatis restaurant and discipline your staff, I hope they don't express that the same way to the tourists and foreigners

Pinati is the kind of restaurant that the late Anthony Bourdain would have adored. The food is sensational (chicken curry, chop suey and fried chicken are god tier), staff so friendly and inviting and the setting/seating area, while no frills, is lovely in its own right. The food here will live rent free in my head for a long time.. thank you, team!

Nice & cheap local food. Many people at late evening. Food was great. The staff don’t speak much english but there are always friendly locals who are willing to help translating!

Wanted to try local food and found this place through the reviews here! My meal costed 6tala which is so affordable with the portion given! Staff could not speak English but there was a local customer beside me who was so eager to help me out with the ordering! Must try for delicious and cheap eats here.

Extraordinarily cheap foods from a busy kitchen. Not easy to find. Popular with weed-dealing taxi drivers.

Easy, cheap, clean and quality right here. A must stop in Samoa. Honestly, you won't regret it.

👍👍 The sails are torn and worn, multiple patches which lend a great authenticity to this venerable Samoan restaurant. Great location.
