Simply the very best in every respect. Excellent accommodation with excellent bed & bedding, excellent tea & coffee station, excellent fridge & TV and an excellent ensuite bathroom where everything was immaculate. The airconditioning was quiet and perfect. The drapes were super and excluded the bright morning sun. The balcony was excellent with wonderful views over the excellent pool to Apia Harbour beyond and visiting cruise ships. The pool was tepid and clean. Breakfasts and lunches are excellent. Dinners are absolutely brilliant and very reasonably priced hence the high number of locals who choose to dine out at Amanaki. The poached swordfish with citrus and basil sauce would win most cookery competitions. In conclusion, the Amanaki Hotel richly deserved the "excellent" adjective I've used repeatedly. It's excellent value and located within an easy walk to the town centre. I can't wait to stay there again. 10/10.

A review of the restaurant. Poke was excellent, swordfish meal was paired with a sauce that brought it down, and garlic prawns and bread were fine. Banana fritters for dessert were yum and the staff were nice, place has a pretty good view too.

We came here on a public holiday for lunch. I could tell they were understaff but the customer service was good. Lunch was pretty nice. Only downfall was that we did have to wait over 30mins, but the staff & food were great.

Service was okay. Went one day & they had no poke or sashimi which was disappointing. Went again a few days & luckily it was available. It's still the best poke to be had on the island. Their food is very tasty with generous portions & the restaurant has a nice atmosphere & is very cool with the sea breeze. Their crumbed pork chop was nice but the fries were soggy & 2 other people at our table had grilled masimasi that was quite dry. I would go back for the poke and recommend that to anyone.

Rooms are decent, and the pool is beautiful on hot days. The staff are incredibly accommodating and the food is pretty good. They made my family and I feel super welcome every morning and we’d strongly recommend this resort to anyone looking to stay in Samoa.

During our week long visit to Apia in September 2023, while we didn't stay at the hotel, we dined at the restaurant nearly every day for either breakfast or dinner (sometimes both!). Great food, great service, and friendly competent staff who were always welcoming. A vastly different experience to what we had at Hotel Millenia up the road (unfortunately that's where we actually stayed - dining there once was enough so lucky we discovered Amanaki when we did!).

Amazing staff, they all treat you like family. The food is amazing. Stayed 2 weeks in Samoa and fell in love with the staff and food. We will be back.

Only ate at the restaurant—twice in one week, seems to be the place to go! The food was ono, my fave was hands down the chocolate cake.
